Nice day, 60’s. Merrill went to church. I didn’t go. Too sore and lame. Rev. Quick fell and hurt his ankle so Nancy had service, 74 out. Linda over in PM for coffee. Washed her car over here.

Mother Daughter Banquet at Legion. Patty and kids came out to it. About 90 there plus men who helped. Slides on Holy Land. Carl Scee here for lunch. Went for groceries. Called Dr. Roberts. Glenda gave me iron shot. Larry and Joanne Neville’s 15th anniversary. Got invited to Marie Gleason’s wedding.

Merrill put new window in upstairs attic. He made it. Lumber cost $18. Dick Matzell [?] run over Eastham’s dog. He buried it on Fort Drum for them. One of B. Drakes white poodles died today.

Mother’s day. We went to church, 77 out. Then went to Jim’s for turkey dinner. Jim and Pat’s 12th anniversary. Mrs. Puffer there also. We gave them lace table cloth. They gave me card, gold chain, and earrings. Mrs. Puffer rode back to city with us. Stopped to see Marg. Vern called in evening.

Gehm’s fly to Rochester. Merrill took car to garage for new starter and water pump. Got letter from Melba. Cleaned dining room woodwork and curtains. Barbara Delles’ father, Ray Hilagan, 85, died today.

Got car home. Cost $139.51 for starter and water pump, oil change, labor and tax. Rainy all day. Glenda gave me iron shot. She has new car. They also have a new filly. Glenda said Jim went to emergency room with sinus problems.
