Uncle Berl is 88 today. B-12 shot. Marg in hospital today. Snowy some. Glenda gave me iron shot.

Rebekah’s, Vi and I on committee. Sandwiches and cookies. Marg called. She is back in hospital. Has a spot on foot. Got refund tax check $38.78

Vern goes to Granite for weekend. Snowed off and on all day. Linda Belile has a new Pinto Sport roof car, maroon with red trim.

Friday the 13th. Washed clothes. We went for groceries.

Colder, windy. Merrill cleaned church. Called Marg in evening. She’s not too good. Getting blood. Her pain is from arthritis. Carl S called. They want him to have open heart surgery.

We went to church, 90 there. 53°. Windy but great day. Jim’s here for supper. They had income tax figured at Mills on way.

We went to city. I had CBC at hospital. Visited Marg. She’s not good. Got drugs at Fays. We went to Rodman Cemetery caretaker, Ron Cole. He called in evening. Glenda gave me shot.

St. Patrick’s Day. Washed clothes. Wrote Leslie. Gave myself B-12. Gave Boots a bath. Very stormy day and evening.

I went to Bible Study. 5 there. Very disappointing. Got letter from June. They are coming Saturday. Ordered box of sympathy cards from Glen Brady, $2.75.

We went for groceries in AM. Cold. Made bean salad. Aunt Maude called to say Lyla said Marg is still in hospital and not good. Snowed in evening.

Snowy some. Melted. Merrill got card and letter from Uncle Berl. Made pie, brownies, chili and salad. Merrill cleaned house. Patty’s grandmother died in Rochester.

Snowy. Vern’s got here about 10 AM. I called Jim’s. Jim’s came about 12:30. We had birthday supper together. Dad got 2 pair work pants and sprinkler. Morse brought cord of wood, $25.

Merrill’s 72nd birthday We stayed at Sackets with kids while Jim and Pat went to Rochester. Postage goes to 18¢. Giltz’s are home from Florida.

Administrative Board, 12 out. Good meeting. Washed clothes. Callie Campbell got out of hospital. Patty’s grandmother’s funeral. Body buried at Watertown Beautiful day. Glenda gave me shot.

Dr. Sommer’s, 2:40. No work done, $10. Stopped to see Ruth and Clarence Schell. Beautiful day.

I went to Bible Study. Very disappointing.

Callie Campbell’s, burial at Sandy Hollow, 84 years old. We went. Quite a few there. A beautiful sunny day. 60°. Glenda gave me iron shot.

I planted tomato seeds. We went for groceries. Got letter from Uncle Berl. Dot is real bad. I called Marg’s room and talked with Beulah. Marg not good. Accident by Snack Bar in evening.

Bill and Vi’s 45th anniversary. Carl Scee’s 76th birthday. Wrote Uncle Berl and Dot. Called Carl. Merrill went to dump. Got Boots license. $10 this year. Merrill cleaned church. He and Larry C fixed bell rope. A beautiful day, 50’s.

We went to church, 79 out. Very nice. Jim’s here when we got home. Kids played outside all day with other kids. Tired in evening. June R brought Merrill box of candy for his birthday.

Frogs hollering. Wrote Vern’s. Aldersgate Committee meeting at Pulaski. I went with Rev. Quick and Marilyn Garbutt. A big turnout. Pres. Reagan and two police shot in Washington, DC. All in hospital and serious.

Cloudy. B-12 shot. Aunt Maude, Merrill and I went to hospital to see Marg. Roy and Beulah there. Marg not good. Glenda gave me iron shot.

Clinic. My blood count is 12.2, blood pressure 148/80. Windy but warm. In 60’s and 70’s. My arms very sore. Thunder storm with warm rain.

UMW at Diane’s. 29 present. Nice meeting. Cooler but nice. In 50’s. Merrill cleaned pipes. Went for groceries.

A beautiful day, 75°. Washed and hung clothes outside for first. Merrill washed car. Glenda gave me iron shot. My arms bad today.

80°. stayed at 70° all night. Sunday School paper drive. I made chocolate chip cookies. Beulah called. Marg has kidney problems. Got letter from Cameron’s. Glenda Adams visited them.

We went to church, 74 out. I talked with Marion. She spend 2 months in California and Washington. We went to CEC to see Holy Land slides in evening.

Aunt Maude has throat dilation. washed. Jim, Pat, and kids came for supper. No school at Sackets. Jim and Joel had new fish poles. Got letter from June. glenda gave me iron shot.

We went to CEC at 10 AM to hear missionary, Walter Durst, speak on Korea. Gave myself B-12 shot. Got letter from Angie. Beulah called twice. Marg a little better. She is moved to room 230. Our pipes and chimney burned out at supper time.

Merrill cleaned pipes. Beautiful warm day. I went to covered dish. Nice program at Mills with Esther. Went to hospital first. Saw marg. She was asleep most of time.

Rainy. I’m so lame and sore today. Glenda gave me iron shot. Vivian Thrice got home from hospital.

Mr. Cole called about Mother’s burial. Leslie called. PNG’s District Meeting at Theresa. I went with Virginia. She was named DD Pres. Rocket shot didn’t get off today. Merrill planted red maple tree by maple in front yard. Beulah called. I talked with Marg. We went for groceries.

UMW food sale. I made 2 pies. Merrill cleaned church and changed candles. We went to city. Saw Marg at hospital. Had supper at Jim’s. Brought go-cart home with us. Got drugs, $47. Prices up on them, $4.05.

Rocket shot launched at 7 AM. Everything going great. We went to church. Palm Sunday. Only 89 out. Nice sermon. Jim’s here for supper. I have broken blood vessel in my eye. Merrill called Rodman. Leslie called.

Uncle Berl called. Dot died at 1:30 AM. Marg moved to room 233. Cathy brought me cherry tomato plants. Talked with Marg.

Mother T’s burial at Rodman at 11 AM. Elmer, Melba, Leslie, Carl, Merrill and I went. Terrible windy and rainy. We went to Roy’s and Don’s afterwards. Spent day with Marg at hospital. She seem much better. We went to Griffins in evening. Merrill had meeting on insurance. Space men returned. In great form.

B-12 shot. I went over to Vivian’s. Colder but nice. Merrill slept most of day. Got letter from Vern’s

Windy but nice. Washed but couldn’t keep clothes on line. Went for groceries Got yellow mum plant for church. Communion candlelight service at church. 50 there. Got Easter card from Jim. Beulah called.

Good Friday. Went to service at Mills. Esther and Ray went with us. Ten from Philadelphia there. 36 out. Made cookies and pie crust. Very sore and lame. Raining and very foggy in evening. Thunder storm during night.

Got letter from Uncle Berl. Called Harry Clark. Made pie, lemon. Merrill cleaned house. Set tables and got stuff ready for tomorrow.

Easter Sunday. We went to cantata at 7 AM. No breakfast this year. 75 there. Went to church, 107 there. Vern’s, Jim’s, and Mrs. Puffer came for dinner. Vern’s stayed all night. A nice day together.

Vern’s left about 9:45 AM. Washed clothes. Snow flurries. Cold all day. Merrill went over town for milk. Glenda gave me iron shot.

UMW District meeting at Black River. We gave $50 to Woman’s Center, city. I went with Esther, Vi, Sina, Marilyn and Janet. 111 enrolled. Very nice. Wrote Melba. Sent notices to times and Journal on Dot’s death.

B-12 shot. Wrote uncle Berl. Beulah called. Marg not very good. She wants to go to Mercy hospital. Rebekah’s. I went to Lodge in evening, 13 out. Walter and Pat Holkins are in town from Texas. Vivian said Ken Hall had heart attack.

Rainy. Very sore and lame. Lazy day. Piece about Dot in Times but all mixed up as usual.

We went for groceries. Rainy. Cheryl had jewelry party but I didn’t go. I’m too sore and lame. Glenda gave me iron shot.

Rained all day. Merrill went to dump. He stopped and cleaned church. I’ve felt horrid all day. No work done. Beulah called. Marg having trouble with throat.

Rev. Martin Ayer, Dexter preached today. Rev. Quick at Dexter. 90 out to church. Jim, Pat, and kids here for PM and supper. Daylight saving time started today at 2 AM.
