UMW Bazaar at church. I helped from 9 AM to 2 PM. Good crowd. Made $608.46. Drove car over. Got card and letters from Don and Juanita. Merrill cleaned oven and floors while I was gone.

We went to Sunday School 32, and church 72. Cousins Tamara Haggerty and Sarah Cooper baptized. Cloudy in AM. Sunny in PM.

Paid bills. Wrote Don and Juanita. Merrill went over town. Got bank calendar. Terrible storm in evening. 60 mile winds. did lots of damage. We had a lot of branches down. Snowed in PM.

Most of snow melted. Merrill repaired damage at parsonage. Blew out window and manger top. Merrill repaired them. Bill helped.

Boscheck girls here in morning. Cold but sunny, 20°. Wrote Donnie in Saudi Arabia. Made Christmas cookies. Gerald Scee’s ex wife, Beverly, 60 died today. They have three daughters, Judy Netto (?), Patty Brown (?), and Cindy Lackenaur (?).

UMW covered dish and Christmas party at Marion Smith’s at Manor, 6:30. Very nice. 11 present.

We put up decorations. Sent Rev. Carol birthday c card. Rev. Carol fell in front of village office and broke her right leg. She is in hospital until Monday. They will set it with pins and steel plate and put on a cast. I called District Superintendent and others to let them know.

Sent Roy C. card and birthday note. I washed clothes. Merrill cleaned floors. I frosted Christmas cookies.

Rev. Carol Berry’s 30th birthday. I talked with her in morning. We went to Sunday School 39, and church 66. Joyce in charge. Sermon was called “The unexpected”. Great.

Roy’s 88th birthday. Boscheck girls here in morning. I addressed Christmas cards. Rev. Carol Berry got home from hospital. Talked with Mrs. Natolin about Social Security.

Our 55th anniversary. Boscheck girls here in morning. down to 10° last night. Sent 14 Christmas cards. Helen and Margaret Kiechle both called. Got cards and notes from Beulah M, Marie Barker, and anniversary card from Doris and Art. Bob Boscheck got home from Long Island.

Rebekah’s covered dish dinner at 6:00. Nice dinner and time. 13 there. Merrill went to church to check for gas. Saw Carol.

We went for groceries. I stopped to see Carol. She’s doing okay. Rosie was there.

Take lunch to Carol. turkey soup and blueberry muffins. Boscheck left for Long Island. Bob’s mother real bad.

Pack Christmas baskets, 1:00. We helped deliver several. Jim called at supper time. Washed clothes. Snowing and slippery. Bob Boscheck’s mother died tonight.

We went to church 110. Sunday School program during church hour. Refreshments after. All just great. We called on Vera Rosbrook. Ecumenical church service, 7:00, at our church in evening. All churches in town. 190 there at service. Offering for Baptist Food Pantry, $140.00.

I made fudge. A beautiful day. Merrill took baskets to Panchous, and Aunt Maude’s over to Cheryl.

Linda,Gary, Joey and Buffy left for Florida about 6:30 this morning to spend Christmas with Darcy.

Take lunch to Carol. We went to see Lyla and her new trailer. Some snow flurries but melted.

Sunny and cold. We went for groceries in morning. Washed clothes.

Dr. Scanlon 1:30. Had dilation to see optic nerve. We went Christmas shopping. Got everything. We went to see Aunt Maude. She looks good.

MYF caroling, 16 here. Gave them punch. Wrapped Christmas gifts in PM. I called Vern and June. Jim called in PM. Jill and Joel going to Patty’s for dinner Christmas Day. Jim to have Sunday and Monday off after 1st of the year. Warm, height 57°.

Raining. Cooler in PM and evening. We went to Sunday School 37, and church 59. Nice. We gave Joyce tape of Lula Rowin. she gave us gifts. Most all signed Carol’s cast. Cha and Stephen here in evening. Gave me lap robe and Merrill candy.

Christmas Eve service at Mills. 7 PM. We didn’t go to it. Too cold and slippery. Took lunch to Carol. Rosie and Sue there. Snowed last night and all forenoon. Snow for Christmas. Boscheck left loaf of banana bread on door.

Gleason’s took Rev. Carol to Syracuse airport for 7 AM flight to Ohio. She got there okay. She called Rosie about 10 AM. A beautiful day. sunny, cold, and white. Only Jim here for dinner. Jill and Joel went to Patty’s. Jim called in morning. Jolie and Shawn here in PM.

Tired today. Washed Merrill’s clothes. made turkey broth. Marty Paro here in evening. Terrible stormy in Pulaski area. 10 car pile up on 81. Nice here but cold.

Still cold. We went for groceries in AM.

I baked rolls, pie, and crust. Bob Boscheck here in evening. He has new job and wants the girls to come each morning at 7:30 to get on the bus. Got invited to party at Landaus on Sunday PM.

Rainy and warmer. Another shooting in city over night. Temperature up to 57° today. Washed clothes. Washing machine not working right.

We went to Sunday School 28 and church 36. Charlie Covell in charge. Party at Landaus 3-8 PM. We went. Very nice. Lots of neighbors there. good food. Raining all night and day. Snowed at bed time some.

Got stuff ready for tomorrow. Didn’t watch New Year come in. Vern called. Bea, Dan, and Robin coming with them.
