Lots warmer. Grand day. Mrs. Hagan, Helen & boys were here. Sent card to Lila, letter to Mom.

Grand day. Not feeling very good. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen.

Went to city with Jim & Aunt Maude. Got new dress. Got Jim boots and Vernon overshoes. The straw stack caught fire & burned.

Lila came home from hospital. Is her 5th day. We were over to Uncle Rays when they got home. The baby is cute.

Washed clothes all day. Talked with Helen & Nettie S. Merrill went to Lodge. Took our car to garage. Wrote Marg & Mom.

Ironed clothes. Called Aunt Maude. Nettie called.

Lila called. Went to Lodge. Was installation. Viola Drake came over after me. Sent twins card.

Another nice day. Got letter from Mom. Talked with Helen.

Merrill went to sale with Uncle Ray. Got tubes & unionalls. Got car home. Got 2 used tires. Went over to Uncle Ray’s in evening.

Raining all day. Went over to Uncle Rays at noon awhile. Roy & Marg came out and stayed all night.

Went over to Uncle Roys in PM. Roy & Marg left at 5:30. Went to Uncle Earle’s in evening. Bobby Ashley was shot in leg.

Pauline & Garmon’s 3rd anniversary. Washed clothes. Not feeling too good.

Went over to Aunt Maude’s awhile. Talked with Helen. Went to card party at Vi Mowers.

Did ironing. Went over town. Stopped at Hagan’s & Aunt Maude’s. Vernon was ill & didn’t go to school. Merrill went to Lodge at Antwerp.

Rainy & colder. Took Vernon to school & went after him. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s.

Raining all day. Went out home. Got Jim new snow suit. $8.98. Called Helen & Aunt Maude.

Uncle Berle & Aunt Mildred & Mom came in PM. Mom brought Vernon new dinner pail & Jim snow suit. Went over to Uncle Rays in evening.

Aunt M., Lila & Cheryl were here. We went to church. Mom went over to Aunt Maude’s. They went home about 5:30.

Not feeling at all good. Helen & Aunt Edna called. Merrill went to Lodge. Uncle Ed came out to Lodge.

Grand day. Washed clothes. Got card from Aunt Mildred, letter from Mary S. Made appointment with Dr. Roberts.

Ironed clothes. Went over town. Went to Lodge in evening. Jim & I went up to Lila’s.

Appointment with Dr. Kelsey & Dr. Roberts. Finished getting my teeth fixed. Have got to go to hospital on Monday. Helen called.

Washed & ironed. Cleaned. Doris Webb was here. Grand day. Sent card to Aunt Mildred.

Took Jimmy out to Mother’s. Helen, Mrs. Hagan & boys were here. Mrs. Keichle called. Esther & Jim have baby girl.

Merrill brought me to hospital at 9:00 AM. Didn’t have a bed. Sent letter to Florence, Jimmy.

Had operation, appendicitis at 9:30. Merrill was here. Dr. told me I have gall stones.

Merrill & Mom were up. Ethel R. & Margaret were in. Merrill brought me ring & candy.

Feeling better. Rebecca’s sent me flowers. Merrill & Alice were here. Got cards & letters., W.S.C.S. sent flowers. Uncle Bearle & Aunt Mildred were here.
