Terrible windy all day. Blew off a lot of barn roof shingles. We canceled Home Bureau at Ruth Eggleston’s. Got letter from Jim.

Home Demonstration at Ruth Eggleston’s. Had shower for Alice Woods. Snowy. Merrill took car to Gouverneur for new tail pipe & fuel pump, $25.84.

Mary Hall goes into hospital for operation tomorrow. Merrill went to Evans Mills for parts for spreader. We went up to Henderson’s in evening.

Wrote Jim. Did ironing. Finished cleaning. Got letter from Uncle Berle & Beulah Hall. Nice day.

Doreen’s birthday. We went out to Mom’s for dinner. Ken’s there also. Doreen was having a birthday party. Beautiful day. Like spring. Wrote Vern & June.

Past Grands at Carrie Thompson’s. 14 present. Merrill went to lodge. Cut out Mom’s dress. Antwerp Roofing salesman was here. $374.00 for barn roof.

Finished paying organ pledge. 4th Quarterly Conference. I went. Only a few out, 21. Cold. Merrill & I went to Antwerp & paid taxes. $209.00. Got Teddy’s tags. Sent Jim package, letter, cookies, & candy, $3.28.

Cold. I took Teddy to Dr. Gillette. He has a disk out of place. Gave him cortisone & heart pills, $3.00. Mr. Gavin, reforest man was here about trees.

Gordon Allen’s house burned this morning. Got letter from Jim. Merrill & I went to city. Got green hat, $1.00.

Merrill & I went to city for groceries. Merrill got rubber boots, $6.15. & 2 pair work pants. Snowy. Went over to Howard & Evelyn’s in evening.

Milk meeting. Merrill went. Got free 2 1/2 pound cheddar cheese. Kenny called. They are coming down tomorrow. Cleaned.

I went to church. Kenny & Brenda came home with me. Were here for dinner & supper.

2nd Operation Advance meeting, 19 present. Real good discussion on education. Wrote Jim. Got card from Pat & Ruth from Florida.
