Home Demonstration Christmas party here. 10 women, no kids. Nice time. Merrill & I went to school concert in evening. Very good. Got our first Christmas card from Steven.

I went to church. Helped pack & deliver Christmas baskets in PM. Merrill & I went to Christmas program in evening at church. Was great.

We went to city & finished Christmas shopping. Saw Alice Covey & Edna Parker shopping. Saw Joan. Sent Donna birthday card. Wrote Jim.

Donna’s 21st birthday. I didn’t go to Rebekahs. Vi & I went to city shopping. Misty & no snow.

We went to Theresa in PM. We went to city to see decorations with Hall’s in evening. They stopped here in evening on way back. Had our tree. I got lamp & boots. Merrill got slide projector & screen.

Wrote Jim. Still warm but rainy. Merrill & I cleaned church. Merrill went to Payne’s to invite them to card party here Tuesday evening.

Hal’s 6th birthday. Marg, Eleanor, Roberta, & Holly, here for lunch & supper. Left about 8:30 PM. Hall kids were over. Got letter from Dot T.

Snowy. Wrote Jim. Sent in film. We didn’t do anything to see the New Year in this year. Barbara Egan 22, her husband, & brother-in-law were found shot on Route 81 North.
