Edna & I went down town at noon. Quite warm.

Jim’s 12th birthday. Got horse. Got TV lamp with green stamps. Went over to Monark’s to see about saddle. Jim got letter & card from Uncle Berle.

Boys & I went to city. Got Vernon’s clothes for school. Merrill worked at Hall’s.

Merrill finished putting in cement at Halls.

We all went out home for dinner. Ken’s were there too. Also Grandpa Haggerty. Saw parade at Adams. Carl & Elmer & girls were here while we were away.

Liz Schell started riding with me to Watertown School of Commerce. Jim went back to school. 7th grade.

Went down town at noon after groceries. Howard is in hospital.

Nice day. Merrill worked at Corn. Lynn helped.

Vern worked at Howard’s. Howard came home today. Has jaundice.

Vern worked on TV cabinet. Cleaned & baked. Ironed.

We took Vernon to Oswego. He lives at Piez House this year. I was sick all day. Got pears. $2.50.

Sally didn’t ride today. Nellie paid me. Not too peppy today.

Cool today. Edna & I went down town at noon. Doris Aynes called. Jim got books. $11.50.

Warmer today. First lodge meeting but I didn’t go.

I went to Helen’s to Home Bureau covered dish.Nellie didn’t ride home. Warmer.

Got letter from Vernon. Grand day. Got a raise today. Go on piece work. “Jeanie” our parakeet died tonight.

Washed & ironed. Washed windows. Very warm. Lynn helped Merrill in PM. Merrill & Jim got hair cuts.

Very warm. Finished ironing. Canned 4 quarts pears.

Rained hard in AM. Nellie didn’t ride at all today. Very warm.

Swell day. Rained a little in morning. Sent card & letter to Vernon.

Vernon’s 19th birthday. Lots cooler today. Nellie paid me $4.25.

Cold today. Got note from Vernon.

No school. Conferences. Quite nice today.

We went to Gouverneur in AM. Got dress & skirt. Took car to Cross’ in PM for work. Made birthday cake to take to Vernon.

Nice day. We went to Wolcott for dinner. Stopped & took Vernon also. Saw them all except Marie’s. Russell Shell had bad accident on Theresa road.

Quite cool today. Got package from Spiegel. 2 pair shoes & overalls.

Finished filling silo today. Rained in evening. Froze plums.

4-H went to Kiechle’s. Jim went. Jim went to Rebekah’s election of officers. Merrill worked at Halls. D. Strader was at lodge with Aunt Maude. She & Charles came today.

Home Bureau here. Pocketbooks. Ten present. Merrill worked at Halls.

Got pressure cooker. Warm. Raining in evening. Sent card to Brenda.
