Sent $13.00 to bank & $1.00 for Times. Bill White came home today on 15 day furlough from Texas. Arlene was down. Aunt Mildred & Aunt Myrtle’s birthday today.

Raining hard. First day of Sandy Creek Fair. Raymont Stacy was here electioneering. Also Emery Shirley. They are running for Road Commissioner.

Received [Montgomery] Wards Winter catalog. Dot got home today. Was down in PM. Arlene B. has a Chevrolet 1931 to drive to school. Has rained all day.

Colder today. Vernon went to fair with Arlene. Stayed for evening. Ken was here in evening. I went up & stayed with Evelyn in evening while Buster went to fair.

Made a diaper bag today. Sent Journal to Mom. Merrill received new socks. Sold 2 1/2 dozen eggs at 50 ¢ a dozen. Evelyn went to Dr. Ralph & she has jaundice.

Beulah’s birthday. (20 years) Raining again. Made 3 pumpkin pies. Mom & Dad was up. Vernon went home with them. Arlene was down.

Last day of fair. Mother & Dad was up for dinner. Merrill, Dad, & Vernon worked on Rudd [neighbors] Barn. Washed clothes. Vernon & I went home with Dad’s & Merrill came over after us in evening. Washing machine broke.

Received True Experience magazine. Haven’t been feeling so good today.

Received card from Aunt Mildred. Went over & voted in primaries. Raining again. Merrill went over to Town Hall in evening. Arlene was down & stayed with me. Shirley got Road Commissioner.

Dot, Arlene, & Evelyn was down. Evelyn was about tired out when she got here. Isn’t feeling very good. I made 3 pies, & molasses cookies today. They finished haying today.

Stormed in the night last night. Had a blackout last night also. Wrote to Florence Y. Evelyn was down. Went over home in evening. Merrill got hair cut at Lorraine.

Received letter from Alice. Marg was up in afternoon. Stormed & rained today & tonight. Took bath tonight. Got True Story.

Evelyn, Dot & Arlene was down. Don was here. Came up to milk for Lonny. Bill went back to camp at Texas today. Don brought up cucumbers from Gram.

Canned pickles, beans & berries. Marg, Roy & Don was here for supper. Merrill mopped floor. Merrill went to Lorraine in morning.

Rained again today. Made molasses cookies.

Wrote to Aunt Mildred. Garth Johnson was flying around with his airplane over our house. Shampooed my hair. Rained. Arlene was down awhile. Sicily captured.

Received letter from Marg. Made a cake. Edith & Dot was down. Roosevelt & Churchill have met again in Quebec. Canada.

Vernon Phillips is in England. He has just been made Sergeant. Mother & Marg came up in PM & stayed for supper. Arlene was down, also Evelyn.

Don was up in evening. Brought up a bushel of tomatoes 75 ¢.

Dick’s birthday. 23 years. Dot was down in afternoon. Also Arlene. Canned 20 quarts of tomatoes. Made pies. Supposed to go to the hospital today.

Went over home for dinner. Don was up for the supper. Not feeling very good. Stopped at Barkers on way home.

Arlene & Dorothy was down. Awfully hot today. Not feeling very good.

Rained about all day. Made pie & cake.

Wrote letter to Alice. Mrs. Shirley was here taking school census. Oren stopped & gotTimes.

Cloudy. received letter from Aunt Edna. Evelyn & Arlene was down. Feeling terrible.

Lonny’s birthday (34 years) Received letters from Florence & Aunt Myrtle. Been lying down all day. Raining again. Oren was down.

Received letter from Marg. Merrill went blackberrying. I canned 4 quarts of them.

Merrill went to Lorraine in morning. Mother & Dad was up in PM. Merrill swept & mopped kitchen. Not feeling very peppy. Dot was down in evening & ate lunch with us.

Dot was down. Quite warm today.

Went to Sandy Creek & saw Dr. Reed. Said there was a chance I might have twins. Evelyn, Mom & Dad was here in evening.
