Ash Wednesday. I spent day with Aunt Maude. She is hearing those voices again. Nice today 32°.

Just great day. We went for groceries. I made strawberry jam and cinnamon rolls. Got Agway check for cashed in money market certificate and stock shares, $172.34. We are no longer Agway members.

Vernon to Dr. Scanlon. Another great day. In the 40’s. I washed clothes and made brownies. World Day of Prayer, 7:30. Nice program. Chomsun’s went with us. Larry Rosbrook and Margaret Oakes married at Vera’s tonight by Rev. Catherine.

Spring like day, 60°. We went to church 68, and Sunday School 50. Cha’s got a second car yesterday. Ford. The kids are out on bikes up and down the road. Elaine Horton’s 3 girls stopped in for a visit.

Art and Doris Haggerty leave for Florida today for two weeks. Another nice day.

Dr. Siegel 12:45. He started me on blood pressure pills. 1 in morning and 1 at night. Merrill got 2 pair of shoes. 1 black and 1 brown.

Roberta’s 35th birthday. St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve felt horrid all day. George Belile died at 10 PM at Rome.

Barbara Called to say George Belile died at 10 last night. Vern called from city. He and June on way home from Canada. His eye exam went okay. Infection will clear up by itself in time. Had Frank Robins in evening to repair furnace.

Merrill went over to Gary’s. Funeral is Saturday. We went for groceries. Merrill took bathroom wash basin drain apart. Runs slowly. Merrill put in window glass at CEC.

Snow flurries for first in weeks. Melted as fast as it came. Merrill went to Antwerp and Mills. I made cinnamon rolls for Belile’s. We went to funeral home in evening. Merrill fixed wash basin drain. Merrill got birthday card from Beula. She has sold her home.

Merrill went to George’s funeral. I made macaroni and cheese for Belile’s.

Gladys called Merrill. We went to Sunday School 42, and church 68. They sang Happy Birthday to Merrill. A grand day. We went for a ride and ice cream to Gouverneur. Linda and kids here in PM. Vern and June called in evening.

Sunny and very warm, 60°. We walked down to 801 housing. 11 buildings up so far. Saw a robin on lawn for first this year. Darcy was over.

Beautiful day, 70°. We went for walk. Sent Eleanor card and letter. We started house cleaning. Cleaned front porch.

Foggy this morning. We went for groceries in AM. Went for walk. June has D & C in today in Syracuse.

We went to Sunday School 34, and church 49. Jim, Patty, Joel and Todd Husley (?) here for supper. I called June. She’s doing okay. Covered dish supper and slides of Holy Land 6 PM. We went for slides. Frogs are hollering for first time.

Windy and cloudy and raining. Corine called. She has another purchase offer on CEC, $38,000. Mrs. Branch will clean church, $5.00 an hour, 2 hour limit. Vi asked her.
