A nice day. My leg hurting terrible. In bed most of day. Vivian called. Lyla here in PM. She has had another cold. I wasn’t dressed all day.

Dr. Stark, 11 AM. B-12 exam. He made appointment for me with Dr. Powell for May 15 at 1:15. My blood pressure up. Weight 144 pounds. Shopped at Pharmhouse and McCory’s. Got shades and sheet set. We saw Arlene Moore and Dorothy LaClair. Good to see them. Been ages. She looks good. Had blood test.

A beautiful sunny day. Merrill started mowing some of leaves. We washed white clothes.

UMW, 7:30, Margaret’s. I didn’t go. Merrill went for groceries in AM. Paid water bill. Sent cards to Kristen, Dan and Robin. Merrill mowed lawns for first this year.

Kristen’s birthday, 4 years. Merrill took car to George’s to have control put on window washer. Merrill got hair cut. 67° today. Great day.

Washed clothes. Colder, north wind. I got card signed by all at UMW. Good to be remembered. I miss going to it.

Rev. Ronald Van Leven preaching, Copenhagen. We went to church, 43 out. We went to chicken Bar-B-Q at Mills and to drug store.

We put plants on front porch. Shirley called. I called Marro’s about wheel chair. All okay. Merrill worked up garden again.

A great day. We put up new window shades in our bedroom and small room upstairs. Washed dark clothes.

Wrote Beulah. Rainy. Rebekah’s. I went with Ginny. Good to see everyone. 7 there. I called doctor. My last CBC was 10.9 and 33. Talked with Jolie, Jill, and Jim. Jim and Patty’s 26th anniversary.

Raining. Sent Ashley birthday card. Put up white curtains in dining room. Merrill washed windows.

Still rainy. The barn burned on the Wilson farm. The Indian River School just bought the farm this spring. I called Vivian. Merrill went for groceries in AM. I got Mother’s Day card from Patty. Marquette and Nancy Landaus here in evening.

Washed clothes. Made cake and lasagna. Merrill took trash and cleaned house. He mowed the lawns. June Ridsdale called. Jim called. Wants us to go to Ashley’s birthday party. Got letter from June and Vern.

Dan and Robin get Master’s Degree from West Virginia University. We went to church. Jim came after us for Ashley’s birthday party. Darcy called from Florida.

Dr. Powell, 1:15 PM. Made plans to have operation June 7th. Ashley’s 4th birthday. Patty’s birthday, 48. Vern called. They had a good weekend trip.

Sent Jim note and money for Ashley’s gift. Vivian was over. Froze first asparagus.

Raining about all day. Vi called.

Merrill mowed lawns. Shirley called. Also Vivian. Sunny but cool, 51°

Jefferson Community College graduation, 500 grads. Merrill went for groceries. Washed clothes.

Graham’s party, 1-6, Legion. I got permanent at Donna’s. We went to Graham’s party. Very nice. Their 50th anniversary. Frances Mosher, 71 is dead in Florida. June R called in evening.

We went to church. children’s Day. 63 out. Last day of Sunday School. We went to fireman’s Bar-B-Q. Called Beulah.

Hospital tests, 8-10 AM. We got home about noon. Got $19.00 of plants at Sonny’s, Route 342. Talked with Lyla. Got letter from Beulah.

Merrill planted cukes and carrots.

Beulah goes to Bev’s. Raining all day. Car to George’s. Couldn’t find oil leak. We went to city for prymethoprim. (?) Jim called. We bought new refrigerator at Sears, $549.00.

Dr. Sommer’s, 11:45. He took x-rays. My teeth okay. Beulah goes into Strong Memorial. [Rochester] We went to Theresa to notary to sign farm papers. June R went with us. Vern called in AM.

Merrill went for groceries. Lyla was over. She took Ingalls wheel chair home. Merrill set out cabbage and tomato plants. We cleaned upstairs. Wrote Beulah in Rochester hospital, Strong Memorial. Mark Dempster called. All going well.

Joe Belile and friend went out after new refrigerator. Took out old one, $30.00. Jim called. Washed clothes.

We went to church, 24 out. We went to Seaway Plaza. Put flowers on cemetery. Stopped taking Relefen. Rained. Jolie called.

We defrosted freezer. Cloudy day. Rained in evening. My arthritis bad in evening.

Beulah has operation. Jim here on his bike. He went to Theresa for mower blades.

Washed my white clothes. Also Merrill’s dress pants.
