Stormy & windy & snowy by spells. I went to boudoir chair lesson in evening at the Fire Hall. Vern finished state scholarship test in AM.

Jim was sick with sore throat. Merrill & I went to Grange but not enough Juveniles came for Grange meeting.

Cold & windy. Very stormy out Adams way. Jim went to school. Merrill & I went to adult education. Last meeting in typing & shop.

Windy. World day of Prayer but I didn’t go. Merrill & I went to Clayton lodge with Les & Beulah. Jim played basketball.

Windy. We went to city after Vern’s pictures. Started out home but was so stormy turned around at Adams Center. Was nice here.

Car wouldn’t start in time so boys didn’t get to Sunday School. We went out home for dinner. Windy.

Washed & ironed. Merrill went to lodge.

I went to chair lesson at Fire Hall. Snowed in PM. Merrill cut brush.

Shellacked kitchen cupboards. I went to lodge. Merrill went to milk meeting at the high school.

Grand day. Kind of cool. Washed windows inside & outside. Vernon’s picture was in Times today as class Valedictorian.

Got letter from Mom wanting us to take farm. Nice day. I went to P.N.Grands at Elsie Bacon’s. Got home at 1:00 AM. Merrill finished cutting brush across road.

Aunt Edna Cobb died today. Aunt Cora called. Party for George & Margaret Waters but we didn’t go.

Boys went to Sunday School & church. Wet, snowy day.

Washed & ironed. Grand day but cold wind.

Merrill & I went to Aunt Edna’s funeral. Large funeral. Got letter from Mom, Mrs. Zimmer, & Mrs. Bennett. Merrill & I went up to Aunt Cora’s after funeral.

I was sick all day with cold & sick stomach. Jim stayed all night with Billy Mattingly.

Vernon sent $25.00 to Oswego College. I went to Bentley Corners Home Bureau at Belva Fikes for first time. Art Hall was here. Howard & Evelyn were over in evening.

Merrill & I went to Ken’s in PM. Merrill & Ken went to auction at Pulaski.

Baked pies & cookies. Cloudy, rainy day. Vern put up bird house. We all went to 4-H at Gordon Allen’s.

Snowy. Boys went to Sunday School. We all went to church.

Merrill’s 45th birthday. Bookkeeping adult education starts. I went. I made Merrill cake. We gave him shirt, candy, & cigars. Merrill went to lodge.

Merrill & I went to Gouverneur. I have headache. Nice day. Merrill got card from Mother Tryon.

Grand day. Did my ironing. I went to lodge. Past Noble Grands night. Merrill & boys went to minstrel show. Very good. Got letter from Juanita.

Eleanor’s birthday. Raining. wrote Eleanor & Juanita. I went to P.T.A. Received charter. Vern showed film for Coteriea [?]

Cancer meeting at Philadelphia High School but I didn’t go. Was too tired.

Baked & cleaned. Merrill & I went to party at Leah’s for Blanche Fikes. Boys went to show. Flood kids were over.

Boys & I went to Sunday School. Sleepy today.

Snowy. Merrill & I went to city. Got new dining room light. Got paint. I went to adult education & Merrill went to lodge in evening.

Home Bureau but I didn’t go. Mr. & Mrs. Pilbeam came to see film, Temple Hills in evening.
