We went out home all day. Men got a lot done on barn. Mom came home with us. Elgin called in evening. They are coming Thursday when he gets out of school. Jim broke his right fore finger.

Mom’s hospital checkup. She has to go back into hospital soon. We took her home. Merrill helped Don in PM. Called Patty. Jim broke his finger. Saw Uncle Lloyd at hospital. Is a little better. Was getting needles [?] out today. Howard here in evening.

Sent accident insurance, $30. Paid Dr. Irwin Stone $10 for Mom. Sent a claim for $96. We went out to Mom’s. Men tore down old barn. Rained hard. I called Elgin and Olive in evening. Very windy here.

Worked at home all day. I washed and baked pies. Olive and Elgin Bowman got here about 5 PM. We went to see Mrs. Beardsley and Aunt Maude in evening. Elgin played for Mrs. Beardsley. Wrote Vern’s.

Merrill worked on Don’s barn. I rode out with Elgin and Olive. They and Mom and I went to Adams in PM. Went to see Pauline Roggie. First we have seen her home on hill. Bowman’s spent night at Orv and Angie’s.

We went out to Lorraine all day. Merrill put steel on end of barn. Bowman’s called there. They left for Canada this PM. I got $6.30 check from Blue Cross for blood work. Got card from Beulah Hall. Coming north soon.

Our new neighbor, on Brancatella’s, here in morning. He went thru our fence last night by Hall’s. None hurt. Jim, Patty and kids here for dinner and supper. Cook out, beautiful day. Jim’s broken finger doesn’t bother him too much. Washed my hair.

Got B-12 shot at Marilyn’s on way home. Got groceries. Went to Mom’s all day. Merrill helped Don on hay conveyor. They took Uncle Lloyd to Mercy Hospital from House of Good Samaritan.

7/7/77 We spent out to Mom’s. Merrill helped Don on barn. Rained about all day out there. Folks were haying in Philadelphia when we came home in evening. Cut my hair in evening. Got letter from Uncle Berl.

Merrill cleaned church. Run cleaner. I baked cakes and pies, and meat loaf. Washed. Merrill mowed all three lawns. Wet all day. Cloudy until evening. Wrote Vern’s. Joyce and Bob Griffin here in evening.

Jolie’s 6th birthday. We all went to church, 60 there. We went in evening to hear The New Dimensions group. Took Loren, Vera, Gilson and another woman and Aunt Maude. We went out to city for a gift for Jolie. Bob E mowed hay.

Washed clothes. Merrill cut brush. Rained in PM. Power off in PM from 4-5:30. Rebekah’s went to funeral home at 7 for George Dyer. Mary went with us. We went over to Art and Doris.

Don’s got letter from Debbie. She is living with G Bevang [?] in Texas. Cloudy, muggy day. We went to Lorraine. Merrill started work on Don’s tool shed. Talked with Beulah and stopped at her place on way home. Uncle Lloyd a little better today. Did Mom’s wash in evening. Eberly’s here to hay it.

We went to Mom’s. Merrill worked on tool shed. Juanita’s niece. Beverly, died, 34. Uncle Lloyd better. D.Wayne came to spend night. Brought Mark back to Brenda’s. We went for groceries in evening. Talked with Aunt Esther, Lula not good. Eberly’s cut and drawed hay. We went to Sackets in morning.

UMW Day at Aldersgate. Don and Juanita’s 27th anniversary. We went to Lorraine. We took Juanita to Canton in evening. Terrible storms up that way. Saw Clara Wallace at Moongate Nursing Home. D.Wayne came home with us.

Still hot. We got ball joint put in car wheel at Adam’s Sunoco Station, $82.76. We took Mark out also. Took D.Wayne home. Talked with Eleanor. Brought Ella Brown to Aunt Maude’s. Art, Doris, 3 boys, Uncle Len and Aunt Betty here in evening.

We went to Mom’s. Took Uncle Len and Aunt Betty with us from Arts. Very hot. Hottest day yet. Cathy called to say Aunt Maude went into hospital this PM. Orv and Angie at Mom’s also.

Very hot in AM. Cooled in evening. Washed clothes, curtains and windows. Merrill run cleaner. Hurt my little toe on chair. went to Philadelphia for groceries. Vern’s called. Wrote Olive.

Much cooler. went to Mom’s. Vern’s came for PM and supper. Mike and Doreen there also. Aunt Maude had dilation operation. She is in room 433. Dyed bathroom rugs. Mom gave me her wedding ring.

Got car insurance, $153, up $2. Baked cakes and cookies. Washed Mom’s clothes and some of mine. Went to Philadelphia in evening for groceries. Lorraine H and JoAnns, Kim and Lisa here about 8 PM. Boys broke barn window playing ball.

Jim and Joel were baptized at Philadelphia Methodist Church. Vern and June for Joel, and Tracy and Jean Baker for Jill were sponsors. Had a picnic dinner here afterwards. Rev. and Mrs. Cameron and Bob Puffer also. Jolie stayed. Anne Eggleston here in evening. 4-H Fair.

Sent $41.50 to Times. Vern’s and our subscription to Readers Digest, $15.62. Had x-ray on my little toe at emergency room. It is broken. Aunt Maude got home from hospital. Stopped to see her. Administrative Board meeting. Jolie stayed with Mrs. Cameron. Lorraine and Nevilles took 4-H stuff to Fair.

Joyce resigned as Sunday School Superintendent. Don’s birthday, 54. Took him box of candy and card. Went to Mom’s. Jolie too. Brought Ella back to Aunt Maude’s. Talked with Beulah and Marg. Beulah Hall called from Ken’s.

Mrs. Cameron’s 66th birthday. Took her crystal vase from Mom. Note paper from us. Glenda Webb gave me B-12 shot. We went to Lorraine. Mom not as good today. More pains. Washed clothes in evening.

Washed clothes. Worked in garden. Went to Philadelphia for groceries and to Pearls. Merrill got pants, shorts, shoes and belt. I got slack suit and two tank tops. Got night gown for Mother Tryon. Made macaroni salad and fruit cocktail cake to take to Wolcott.

Merrill and I left for Wolcott about 8 AM. Got there at 10:30. We went to Beulah and Glenn’s. Carl went with us. We got to Oswego about 6 PM. Stayed at Vern’s all night. They took us around Oswego.

Rev. and Mrs. Cameron leave by bus for Wyoming. Jim, Patty, and kids here for PM and supper. They took home cukes and yellow beans. Boys got letters from June and Vern. We wrote them.

We went to Lorraine. Merrill worked on shed. Steve, Dan and Dwayne rode mini bikes and helped Don draw hay. Uncle Lloyd had operation. Removed part of bowel. Not good at all after operation. Got light timer for parsonage.

Baked donuts, cakes, cookies and pies. Merrill run cleaner. I went to Philadelphia for groceries. Watered Mr. Cameron’s plants. I put light timer on parsonage lamp. Vern and June came in evening. Rainy.

Beulah Macklin’s birthday, 54th. We went to church. Rev Johnson preached. Cameron’s gone all month. 65 at church. We went to city. Got eye drops. Ate at Burger King. Went to Mercy hospital to see Uncle Lloyd. He’s not good. Called Patty.

We went to Mom’s. She’s not as good. D.Wayne looks after her. I took Cindy hand cream for her birthday. Wrote Vern’s. Canned 7 pints of beans. Ethan rode back to Adams with us.

We went to Lorraine. Got cheese and groceries on way. Jim. Patty and kids came to see Mom. Dorr’s and Doug here in evening. Brought my Tupperware pie carrier. Called Joe L. He says Beulah is coming there Sunday.

We went to Mom’s all day. She stayed in bed all day. I called Beulah and Eleanor. Mom said Jim and Patty could have her wash bowl set. Pearl Pitt gave it to them for wedding, 1914. Bought it at Antwerp.

Wrote Uncle Berl and Olive. Merrill mowed 3 lawns. “Son of Sam” killer captured in Yonkers. He had killed 7 with 44 caliber gun. Sent $5.94 to hospital for Mom. Got gas, 125 gal @$.78.6. Canned 7 quarts yellow beans. Got letter from Vern’s. Merrill went to Theresa for drugs for cows and foot.

Holly’s 17th birthday. Called him on phone. We went to Lorraine. Mom in bed all day. Called Eleanor, Marg and Beulah. Uncle L no better. Made 5 dozen fried cakes in evening for church sale at Civic Day.

Philadelphia Civic days. We went in AM to take fried cakes for church table. I went with Jim’s in PM. Jim’s here for PM and supper. Merrill drawed manure in PM. I broke my glass coffee maker again in evening. Merrill went to Agway.
