Awfully windy. Talked with Mrs. Ronas, Helen & Emma. Power off from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Was down to Leah’s awhile after church.

Washed clothes. Cloudy. Emma, Beulah & Elsie were here in evening to make out slips. Milk tester came. Merrill went to Lodge.

Colder. Talked with several about supper. Tester left. Got letter from Mom.

Raining. Talked with several about supper. Went over & gave out slips. Got some more coal.

Talked with Helen & several others about supper. Went to city after groceries for supper. Delivered meat & swept church. Nice day but cold.

Father & Son Banquet. Worked over church all afternoon & evening. Sold 112 tickets. Made about $95-$100. Raining.

Vernon & I went to city. Uncle Ray buzzed wood. Talked with Lula, Helen, Emma, Uncle Ray. Got lamp shades.

Aunt Maude & I went to church. Took her to Evans Mills in PM. Stopped to see Mrs. Holmes. Stopped at Kiechle’s. Talked with Leah & Aunt Maude. Mosquitoes are here.

Thunder showers. Had Stanley Party. Baked cookies.

Went collecting for Cancer drive. Was over to Aunt Maude’s. Jim Matteson was here in evening.

Painted dining room wood work. Got “True Romances”. Talked with Beulah & Lula.

Baked & washed. Uncle Berle & Aunt Myrtle were here for supper & evening. Brought stuff in Tom Beenaman’s show.

Went out home for dinner. Stopped at Margs & Tryon’s. Nice day. Quite warm. Got potatoes $1.00. Vernon mowed back yard for first.

Washed clothes. Grand day. Talked with Helen, Aunt Maude & Leah. Men couldn’t get tractor going. Called hospital at Gouverneur to appeal for AB blood.

Colder. Mrs. Bechard was here. Talked with Helen. Merrill went to city for part for tractor. Men started fitting for first.

Went out collecting on Cancer drive. Men planted first oats of season. I went to Lodge. Got card from Mother.

Sent Flossie White card. Finished Cancer Drive. I took in $16.00 Went to city with Merrill after tractor part. Talked with Helen, Aunt Maude & Lula. Was over to Mrs. Hagan’s.

Raining & cold. Went up to Rappole’s. Mrs. Suits & Sharon were here. Sent Mom card. Talked with Lula, Vi & Addie.

Grand day. Went to church. Went out home in PM. Stopped at Adams. Talked with Aunt Maude & Cora. Cleaned up yards.

Washed & ironed. Aunt Maude & Pearl came over in evening on tractor. Mrs. Brown was here with products.

Delivered Stanley products. Went to W.S.C.S. at Elsie Bacon’s. Talked with Beulah, Helen, Aunt Maude & Lila.

Grange. Pearl B & I put on short play. Made tickets for Mother & Daughter banquet.

Took tickets over to Vi, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Ronas, Edna & Beulah. Was over to Mrs. Hagans. Uncle Ray helped Merrill drill grain until 10:30. Aunt Maude was over.

Rainy. Merrill, Aunt Maude & I went to city. Got dress & shoes. Merrill & I went to Calcium to Grange meeting in evening. Talked with Vi, Lula, Aunt Maude & Leah.

Snow flurries. Rainy & cold. Talked with Lila [Miller], Addie, Vi, & Helen. Went to show in evening.

Mother’s Day. Still rainy & cold. Merrill & I went to church. Talked with Lula & Aunt Maude.

Wrote Edith. Washed. Still raining. Men started digging cellar drain. Went over to Vi’s. We went over town. Merrill went to Lodge.

Mother & Daughter banquet. Had good turn out. worked at church in PM. Talked with several about banquet.

Went to Lodge. Aunt Maude too Cheryl. Men helped Uncle Ray build fence at Hagans. Called several about party for Mr. Danforth.

Still cloudy. Went over town with Merrill to see people about party. Called several about it. Men finished cellar drain.

Cleaned Sunday School room at church. Talked with several about party. Got letter from Mom. Said Ken bought other farm.

Nice day. Men started laying cement in cellar. Had farewell party for Mr. Danforth at church. 35 there. Ceil called about party for Howard.

I went to church. Milk tester came in evening. Didn’t stay all night. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude. Vernon not feeling too good. Had tooth ache.

Did wash, ironing. Wrote Mother. Raining again. Men worked on cellar. Talked with Helen, Pearl & Ceil.

Talked with Leah, Vi, Aunt Maude. Still raining. Sent order to Spiegel. Merrill & I went to party at Allen’s for Howard. Bob McGraw [Hired man] was here in evening. Quite cold.

Howard Allen’s birthday. (45 years) Merrill & I went to Grange. Had sick cow. Carl, Helen & boys were over awhile. Talked with Doris, Helen.

Spring musical at school. Was very good. Vernon played clarinet. Raining again in evening.

I was sick in bed all day. Vernon did work. Mrs. Hagan called. Raining about all day.

Cloudy. Baked and cleaned. Feeling better today.

Went up to Barkers for dinner. Stopped at Dads & at Adams. Talked with Aunt Maude & Edith. No church conference.

Got package from Spiegel. Aunt Maude & Pearl was over. Went to Adams & drawed gravel. Stopped at Aunt Myrtle’s. Mr. Suits has been sent to a church at Middleville. Washed.

Talked with several about party for Mr. & Mrs. Suits. Was over to Alice Flaherty’s.

Lodge. Entertained Past Grand. Pearl & I did play. Went out collecting for gift for Suits. Marguerite Beach is taking charge of program.

Leah’s brush party. Merrill & I went. Not many there. Collected for Suits present.

Fireman’s Field Day. Lula, Aunt Maude & I went to city for gift for Suits. Got chair, end table & console set. Awfully warm. Kids & I went to see Fireman’s parade.

Got word today Bill Keller dead. (May 27) Aunt Maude, Pearl & I went to Antwerp. Got blouse pattern. Men planted garden.
