Mother Tryon operated on at 9:00 AM.Talked with Aunt Edna, Helen, Mrs. Keichle, & Vi. Power was off most of the day.

Sent Xmas cards. Went to city to see Mother Tryon. Beulah came to see her. Aunt Edna, Lila, Corrie, Dad & Marie were there. Left Jim with Helen. Got Jim’s picture. Went over town. Gave $!.00 for Mr. Suits present. Mrs. Hagan called.

Talked with Mrs. Keichle, & Mrs. Hagan. Got several Xmas cards. Don & Juanita & Donna were here. Brought pork. Snowing some in evening.

Wrote Mother Tryon, Edith, & card to Betty. Also Mom. Xmas doings at school. We went to Xmas tree at church. Vernon said poem. Snowing in evening. Vernon got out for Xmas vacation.

Snow plow was over for first time but not much snow. Raining & freezing on.

Went to church. Did washing & ironing. Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude were over in evening.

Went to city. Got pictures. Went to hospital to see Mother Tryon. Aunt Maude called & said Aunt Fannie was dead. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Hagan.

Made cake for Xmas. Merrill went over to Mrs. Hagans. She gave us $12.00 for Xmas. Had our tree in evening.

Went out home for Xmas. Had a grand time. Stopped at hospital. Dad & Kessel came home with us. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle, & Aunt Maude. Snowing in evening, but has been grand all day.

Went to city to see Dr. Roberts. Aunt Maude went with us. Merrill went up to hospital awhile. Dad T, Kessel went up with us. Kids stayed at Mrs. Keichle.

Buster & Marie have baby boy. Ben was over. Very stormy & cold in evening. Wrote Aunt Mildred, Eleanor, & Mom. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle, & Aunt Maude.

Stormy & cold. Plow didn’t come over until noon. Merrill got new tire. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude & Uncle Ray.

Stormy day & very cold. Talked with Helen. Made ice cream.

Washed clothes. Nice day but cold. Ironed.

Mother Tryon went home from hospital. Made pies, cake & doughnuts. Talked with Mrs. Keichle, Mrs. Hagan & Beulah.
