Got my license. My new refrigerator is at Carters. Talked with Helen. Sent card to Mom.

Vernon came home from school about 10:30 sick. Merrill filled silo at Rappole’s. Went over to Keichle’s after water. Went over town after groceries. Not feeling good & Friday the 13th.

Canned pears. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle. Went to show in evening.

Vernon went to Sunday School. Wrote letter to Mom & Dorothy.

Not feeling very good. Merrill helped fill silo at Kavanoughs. Merrill went to Lodge. Kids and I went to show.

Awfully warm. Merrill got boys sled. Paid for refrigerator $232.00. Got letter from Mom. Got refrigerator.

Appointment Dr. Kelsey at 10:00 AM. I got 1 [tooth] pulled & several filled. $11.00. Went over town after Merrill at Mercer’s. Jim stayed at Helens. Sent card to Mom & Tryon’s.

Vernon’s birthday. Had ice cream. Went to show in evening.

Dad, Mom, Ken & Eleanor were here for birthday dinner. Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude was over. Ben gave Vernon birthday present.

Mr. Hagan is very low. Washed. Talked with Mrs. Keichle.

Not feeling too good. Mr. Hagan died at 8:00 AM. I went over in evening. Took over cake & eggs.

Went to city for flowers. Got new clothes. Was over to Hagans. Went to Lodge in evening. I’m flag bearer now.

Mr. Hagan’s funeral. First Catholic funeral we ever attended. Went up to Lila’s. Vi Mowers & I went over town with Aunt Maude’s. Vernon practiced at church.

Took car to garage in PM. Was over to Mrs. Hagan’s. Wrote Mom. Got letter from Juanita.

Charles K’s birthday (2 years). Feeling punk. Real warm today. Called Helen.

Went to Sunday School & church. Had flat tire. Had bad thunder storm. Wrote letter to Marg. Sent cards to Juanita, Mom & Aunt Mildred. Vernon had part in Rally day program.

Snowing all day long. Lila went to hospital at 3:00 AM. Uncle Ray called. Talked with Mrs. Keichle, & Helen. Lila & Jim have baby girl

Went to city with Jim & Aunt Maude. Got new dress. Got Jim boots and Vernon overshoes. The straw stack caught fire & burned.

Lila came home from hospital. Is her 5th day. We were over to Uncle Rays when they got home. The baby is cute.

Washed clothes all day. Talked with Helen & Nettie S. Merrill went to Lodge. Took our car to garage. Wrote Marg & Mom.

Ironed clothes. Called Aunt Maude. Nettie called.

Lila called. Went to Lodge. Was installation. Viola Drake came over after me. Sent twins card.

Another nice day. Got letter from Mom. Talked with Helen.

Merrill went to sale with Uncle Ray. Got tubes & unionalls. Got car home. Got 2 used tires. Went over to Uncle Ray’s in evening.

Raining all day. Went over to Uncle Rays at noon awhile. Roy & Marg came out and stayed all night.

Went over to Uncle Roys in PM. Roy & Marg left at 5:30. Went to Uncle Earle’s in evening. Bobby Ashley was shot in leg.

Pauline & Garmon’s 3rd anniversary. Washed clothes. Not feeling too good.

Went over to Aunt Maude’s awhile. Talked with Helen. Went to card party at Vi Mowers.

Did ironing. Went over town. Stopped at Hagan’s & Aunt Maude’s. Vernon was ill & didn’t go to school. Merrill went to Lodge at Antwerp.

Rainy & colder. Took Vernon to school & went after him. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s.

Raining all day. Went out home. Got Jim new snow suit. $8.98. Called Helen & Aunt Maude.

Uncle Berle & Aunt Mildred & Mom came in PM. Mom brought Vernon new dinner pail & Jim snow suit. Went over to Uncle Rays in evening.

Aunt M., Lila & Cheryl were here. We went to church. Mom went over to Aunt Maude’s. They went home about 5:30.
