Joyce and I papered most of master bedroom at parsonage, 9-4 PM. Bill, Brenda and boys here in PM. I was at Philadelphia. Got nice letter from Uncle Berl and Lettie. Pat B. here.

Joyce and I finished papering parsonage bedroom. We also papered torn hall paper at CEC. A beautiful day. Like spring. Windy in AM. Rained toward evening. Merrill milked for Pat B. His Aunt died in New Jersey.

Rev. Skinner’s last Sunday with us. Here 4 Sundays. 89 out to church. Nora here to fit on pattern. Jim McEtherin’s last Sunday evening with us. Merrill didn’t get around in time to go as he milked at Pat’s again today. Nora went with me.

Lynn and Bob P butchered our beef. Cow fell on Merrill’s leg as they were loading her in Lynn’s truck. Jim, Pat and Jolie here. Jim took Merrill to emergency room for x-rays. No bones broken but a bad bruise. I cleaned house downstairs. Lyle Murphy milked at night. Jim Schell milked for Pat. B

Rev. and Mrs. Cameron move in. Got here in PM. Lyle Murphy milked morning and night and cleaned barn. Ruth Eggleston goes into hospital for knee operation. I took Lorraine to Philadelphia for groceries in PM. Paid Lyle $20.

Merrill did work alone today. His leg feels much better. We went to Theresa to bank and to Philadelphia. I stopped at parsonage. Got groceries. Merrill took baby yarn to Aunt Maude. Snowing some off and on. Oswego got 2 feet overnight.

Sent check to Sears, Agway and Murphy. Wrote Vern’s. Snowing. Ruth Eggleston has knee operation today. Defrosted freezer. Took about all day. Pat B. was over. Roads bad tonight.

Wrote Doreen and Mike. Sent birthday card to Doreen. Merrill got hair cut at Theresa. Called Delores for bulletin announcements. Helen Tooley called about reception for Rev. and Mrs. Cameron.

Storming all day and windy. I baked pies, cake, cupcakes, cookies. Talked with Esther about getting Exchange Student for February UMW.

Doreen’s 18th birthday. Rev. Cameron’s first Sunday with us. A great sermon. 110 people in church. Merrill slept in PM. I wrote Ruth Eggleston at hospital.

Cut up beef at Payne’s. Lynn cut it up. Worked from 11 AM to 10 PM. Jim, Pat and Jolie got half of beef. A busy day but fun. Very cold most of day. Got letter from Vern’s.

I went to Bible study. Only 4 of us. Kind of lame from cutting up meat. Wrapped 80 pounds of ground beef in PM. Merrill paid Lynn $45 for cutting up meat.

I went to Lodge. DDP Von Pike and 4 others from Antwerp there. Very cold. Ethel Tousley, 51, died yesterday. Merrill worked at income tax.

We called at Tousley’s in PM. Got groceries. Mary here after boxes.

Ethel Tousley’s funeral. I called Jean Livingston about auditing church books. She doesn’t want to do them this year. Merrill and Boots went to Philadelphia to pay phone bill and Murphy.

Frank Payne’s got home from Florida. Rainy day. Freezing some. I washed clothes. Washed my hair. Power was off for an hour in PM, 3-4 PM. Cleaned pipes and chimney.

Very stormy most of day. We went to church. 76 there. Very stormy at church time. Another great sermon.

Administrative Board meeting, CEC, 8 PM. 16 out to it. First one with Rev. Cameron. Very pleasant. Jim, Pat, and Jolie here for supper. They picked up sweater set at Aunt Maude’s. They had income tax done at Calcium. Boots got hurt on fence. Run Barb in leg.

B-12 shot at Marilyn’s. Bible Study. I took Carol and Adam. Merrill went to Philadelphia to measure parsonage windows. I went to Sina’s and Aunt Maude’s. Marva Blankenship got her divorce today.

Wrote Mom. Rained off and on all day. Very dark day. Merrill slept all day His leg pained him all night. Howard and Dick Graves here in PM. I wrote letter to Beulah in evening.

Beautiful day but cold. Boots has quite a deep sore on his leg. He won’t let us doctor it. He hurt it Monday on fence.

We went to Philadelphia for groceries. Took Audit blanks to Virginia New. Got letter from Vern’s. Sent them letter. Also Beulah. Boots leg better. He went to Philadelphia with us.

Nice day. I washed clothes. Cleaned house. Popped corn in evening.

We went to church. 109 out. Helped Hill girls fill out reports for 4-H over phone. Beautiful day but cold.

We went to city. Took out 4-H Progress reports to office. Got blanket and shirts for Patty. Jim, Pat and Jolie came just as we got home. Got bed sheets and cases for Jane Keichel.

UMW at CEC. Week of Prayer and Self Denial program, Marilyn. 13 out. I went to Bible Study. Got groceries for 4-H supper. Very cold all day. I took audit blanks to Marva.

Snowed some during night. Adult Health clinic at Philadelphia. Merrill and I went to it. Merrill had ears tested. Very good for his age. Got Mexican records at Library. First time I’ve been in library in years. It is so nice now.

I put up decorations for Mexican lesson. Filled piñata and put in doorway. Had flat tire on car fixed at Philadelphia. Snowed during night.

4-H here. Mexican Fiesta, 4:30 PM. All here but Jamie, Jackie, and Vicky. Mary came. They enjoyed it. Nice supper. Washed my hair.

Cleaned stove pipes. Snowed during night. Blowing some. I met Joyce at CEC to plan tables and chairs for tomorrow. Snowed hard in AM but cleared in PM.

Welcome” covered dish for Cameron’s at CEC. About 135 to dinner. 134 to church. I didn’t get to church. Vi and I worked at CEC. Good turnout from Mills church. Nice day but cold in evening. Oswego got 5 feet of snow.

A beautiful day but cold. Joseph wink here to renew fire insurance policy. He is 79 years old. Washed church towels. Helen Keichel called in evening. Asked if we’d take Mrs. Riley, Diane and Mrs. Hayden to wedding.

I didn’t go to Bible Study. It was snowing all AM. We worked at income tax. Wrote Vern’s.

Trees covered with frost. We went to city. Merrill got voltage regulator for tractor at Talcott Falls, $15.25. I got new Harris Tweed coat, $40 and 3 blouses at Robert Halls. We stopped at Brenda and Bill’s.

Quite stormy most of day. Got Valentine letter from Vern’s. I worked at reports for church. Sent Minnie Pike, PNG Secret Pat, Valentine. Got one from my secret pal. We went to Philadelphia for groceries in morning.

Ronnie, 24, Griffin and Janet, 41, Cullen’s wedding. A beautiful day. Cold. Sent Mother T. card and letter. Called Patty in evening. Everything OK. Finished Church reports. Washed my hair. Elaine and Tammy Phillips left for Oklahoma at 7 AM.

Jane Keichel and Robert Mowatt III wedding. A very nice wedding and reception. Mrs. Riley, Diane, and Mrs. Hayden went with us. Married at Evans Mills and reception at the Philadelphia Legion. Sent farm census.

Mother T’s 86th birthday. We went to church. 78 there. Great sermon. Merrill, Vi and I went to open house at Evans Mills church for Cameron’s. Great day. Like spring.

Jim, Pat, and Jolie here for PM and supper. Patty feeling OK. Sleeting in evening. Linda Lamica here to sew in PM. I cut out Aunt Maude’s dress in morning. No mail. Washington’s Birthday.

4-H free swim, 1-2 PM. All went but Hills and Jamie. Anne E drove also. We went to McDonalds afterwards. Merrill got motor for dump station washer at Bennett’s. Called Jim’s. We went to Sackets and got Jolie. Art and Doris Haggerty have baby boy, Douglas Lyle, 6 lb, 15 oz.

Jim called at 7 AM to say Jill Erin Tryon arrived at 5:05 AM, 6 lb, 10 oz. Pat went to hospital at midnight. Called Mom. She heard it on radio. Also heard Art and Doris Haggerty had son. Merrill went to Philadelphia for groceries. Made cookies and cake.

4-H Dress Evaluation at Fire Hall. I took Laura, Marie, Lorraine and Vicky. Jolie, Alison, Nora and Linda went also. We went out to hospital to see Jill for first. She is so sweet. Looks like Jolie did only has dark hair. Saw Art and Doris and baby. Took Patty sweater from Sears.

A beautiful day. Sent Dan card. I have intestinal runs. Woke up at 4 AM with it. Dawn was over and spent day with Jolie. Says they have sold their farm. Merrill worked at helping Bob put on window at parsonage. MYF Pizza sale. I got one, $2.

Another grand day. I feel better today. Cleaned house. Washed Jolie’s clothes. Jim and Pat called. Patty and Jill went home today. Myrtle Schell died suddenly yesterday morning, 58 years. Mary collected for flowers.

Danny’s 8th birthday. Raining all day. We went to church. 118 out. New red choir robes and white or gold collar worn for first time. Look great. Fast time starts at 2 AM.

Sent liability insurance, $38 to John W Beck Jr. Jolie and I wrote Jim’s. Wrote Uncle Berl. Washed clothes. Rained all day. Thunder storm in evening. Power off from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Snowing hard in morning. I didn’t go to Bible Study. Vi and Pearl called. Snowed all day. Warm. Elsie Bacon went to hospital yesterday.

Jim and Pat called. Windy with some snow. We went to Philadelphia for groceries. Went to Aunt Maude’s for Jolie’s mittens she made her. Took her the dress I cut out for her.

We took Jolie home in PM. She sure loved her baby sister. Saw for first time. took pineapple. I have headache. Donna H brought Amway dishes. U Parcel left them at her shoppe.

Merrill cut load of wood. Donna and Lisa here to make out 4-H report. Sent electric payment, $81.92 for 2 months. Used new dishes. Nice day.
