Sent car insurance, $110. Nice day but cool. Hay not dry enough to bale. Dawn here about all day. Merrill, Larry, and Dawn went to Mills. Got bale of twine, $30.

Nice day. Merrill mowed last of hay, 3 acres. We drawed 2 load. Merrill raked in evening. Larry, Boots, and I went to Philadelphia for groceries. Got Larry Mexican Jumping Beans, 39 cents for 4. Hall’s baled their hay. Petrie’s are about finished here.

Mark is two. We just about finished haying. No more shear bolt nuts so we have 2 rows yet to bale. Petrie’s finished haying here. 17 acres, @ $15.= $255. 3446 bales in barn.

Rained all day. I washed bedding. Merrill mowed away hay and unloaded load. Vern’s stopped for supper on way home from Canada trip. Brought us cheese from Wisconsin. Lyla here but Larry didn’t want to go home with her. Pat was over in evening.
