Colder today. I went to Bible Study with Ruth. Carol and Mrs. Bennett went with us. I made a cheesecake for first time. Very good. Jim, Pat and Jolie here for PM and supper. Brought Amway order.

4-H Leaders Meeting at Fire Hall. Mary and I went. 14 there. Merrill and Pat built fence. Bill, Brenda and Mark over in evening. Mark is so cute. Mrs. Daye called at noon. Made final plans for District Meeting.

Taylor’s 28th anniversary. Mary Hall and Aunt Maude’s birthdays. We went to city. Got groceries for District Luncheon. Can’t get squash at Adams Center. May get it at Theresa. We went out to Mom’s. Don is building shed over barn cleaner.

Cloudy day. Some rain. Merrill helped work on CEC steps in PM. Joyce and some were working raking leaves on church lawn. Spent most of day and evening on telephone. Mostly 4-H. Washed clothes. Washed my hair in evening. Sent Steve card. Sent Halloween cards.

Beautiful day. Today would have been Mom and Dad’s 59th anniversary. We went to church. Rally Day. They took up a collection for Blanche and Joe LaLonde. I stopped at Vickie’s for candy money. Oakland A’s won World Series over NY Mets.

No school or mail, Veteran’s Day. Lorraine and I went to Lafargeville for cottage cheese and to Ryor’s for turkey. I got Halloween party stuff for 4-H. We took 6 turkey’s to Brown’s to freeze. Took 1 to Esther’s and brought 1 home.

A beautiful day. I went to Bible Study. Merrill painted barn doors. I went up to CEC in PM to help set up tables. We set up for 94 downstairs. Made cheese cake and got vegetables ready in evening. Talked to several on phone.

Election day. John Keichel, Philadelphia supervisor. Hale’s went with us to vote. I was number 107, Merrill 108. We took stuff up to church and CEC and cabbage to school. Had first election supper in CEC building. People from Carthage, Watertown Black River there. My 12th year as chairman.

Margaret M and I cleaned up remains of supper at CEC and church. Took pies to Martha’s to freeze for Sunday. We went to Bill and Brenda’s. Merrill got tires changed at Agway for winter. Mom called in evening. Called Martha M. Vi is not too good.

Karen Stafford from Minetto called. She live at the city. Wrote Vi. Pat Brancatella had tractor tip over on him about 11:30. Merrill and I took him to Mercy hospital. He as broken collar bone. Mary Hall took Lorraine and I to city in evening. We visited Vi. I saw her this PM also. She is much better today.

Got note from June. Took Lorraine to city. I got blower motor at Sears, $60. Got two bedspreads, green, at Grants for stairway. Got print blouse, $5. Men got Pat’s tractor righted. Lynn, Howard and Merrill cleaned away manure pile. Most of it Brotherton left. We went to youth Rally at Mills in evening.

Ken and Eleanor’s 27 anniversary. UMW meeting at Theresa. I took Vi, Lila, Carrie, Lois and Margaret. Very nice. Was on Gateway with Charles Murray speaking and showing movie. I cleaned oven and refrigerator. Mopped kitchen floor. Aunt Maude called. She got caste off. Ross Belcher in hospital, very bad.
