Another hot humid day. I’ve been so sleepy all day. My medicine keeps me awake. Vi here. Florence brought me delicious piece of cake with maple frosting. Jolie called in evening.

A partly sunny day. Vern called in morning. He had to go to heart doctor in Syracuse this PM. He’s feeling real good. I’m tired today for some reason. Not much done except change my bed. Will wash them tomorrow. Florence, Angie, Vi and Sally here. Jim called in evening. He is going to Pennsylvania with Road Dogs and to Joel’s.

He says Joel and Camille had had their house closing. She was in Mexico for her job and they flew her home for it. Had to fly back for a while longer. Cheryl called. She’s taking me to the doctor’s Wednesday, Dr. LaPoint. Lyla called. She went to Philadelphia alumni banquet last night. 135 present. It was 50 years for Vern’s class.

74° and 53°. Partly cloudy but a great comfortable day. I went to hospital for blood work. Vi went with me. We stopped to see Lidia. She will be home tomorrow. Florence, Vi and Angie here.

Lidia got hoe from hospital. Jim from Kinney’s here with $92 word of medicine. Gets more costly everyday it seems.

75° and 61°. Cloudy. I called bank to order checks and transfer some money. My appointment with Dr. LaPoint at 1 PM. Cheryl took me. Everything good. Have to have blood tests every two weeks. Coby Slate here in PM. Vi, Florence and Angie here.

A nice day. Sunny. Sue B called for prayer chain for Jack Tooley who is having bladder and prostate operation August 5th. Kate Boschock a nose operation on August 2nd. And roger Livingston had a heart attack in doctor’s office. Had a stent put in. Debby (nurse) called for me to have a urine specimen taken. Vi walked over with me. I went to exercise class for first time with new girl. I called Jim. He was helping Northforks build a farm pond at their home in Adams Center. Fred and Marlene. Marlene retired after 36 years of working for city. She was the assessor for the past eight years.

Raining off and on all day and evening. Steve called in AM and said they would be here in PM. So good to see them all. They are a great family. Sarah and Kristen getting so big at 9 and 13. Sally, Florence, Rose and Angie, Vi and Andrea here. Rose brought me 2 pieces of cake and Angie brought pieces of zucchini bread. Both delicious.

Cloudy day. Some rain showers. I went to exercise class. 9 there. Debby from Dr. LaPoint’s office called. My kidney infection better but still have blood in it. Could be from my s tone. I called Lyla. Cheryl and Marion got to Arizona all okay yesterday. I called Jim. He says Camille lost her manager job with MIC after working for them for 10 years. Joel and Camille just moved into their new house they bought in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Warmer. Mostly sunny. I went to exercise class. Robin sent me clipping from Oswego paper about their soap box derby at their place last week. They are so clever. The kids had a great time. Sarah 9 goes to Camp Robin each year when her sister Kristen goes to a real camp. I gave myself Procrit shot tonight. Thunder and lightning and rain in early evening. Sally, Angie and Florence stopped by.

Cloudy and rain. I went to exercise class. I called Helen Kiechle in evening. She is at her farm. Her granddaughter Kathy is staying with her until Kathy leaves for college in two weeks. Jim called in evening. We had a long visit. He’s taking Joanne to Georgia this weekend.

I called Sarah O’Connell about kayak trials for US team to be held on Black River August 20-29. Debby called about blood work. I need to continue Procrit every third week and blood work every two weeks.

76° and 58°. Sunny nice day. I called Jolie at 9 AM. She got Jim on 3 ways. He is in Georgia but will get to Jolie’s today. Madison 4 years old, started kindergarten today. Jolie took her but she wants to ride the bus home. I went to exercise class.

79° and 61°. Thunderstorm during night. Sunny today. I talked with Lyla. Cheryl and Marion got home all okay Monday night. Had good vacation. Vi here for paper. Alice Porter, 102 came to see me this PM. Vi and I got over withdrawal card from Ernest Rebekah Lodge. I joined Philadelphia Rebekah’s on March 13, 1946. Fifty eight years ago.

73° and 65°. Raining off and on all day. I went to exercise class. Not as many out. Centennial Picnic here at 5 PM in Metcalf room. Place full. Very nice.

A nice day. Florence went to doctor’s. He told her her cancer is back. She’s very bloated. She asked me not to tell anyone. Vi was here. Also Angie and Sally. I called Jim. He is still on his way home from Georgia. He is in Virginia. The transmission went out in his truck and hi’s been getting it repaired. He isn’t going to get to see Jolie. I called Vern and June in evening. Ken’s lawyer appointment is changed until next Wednesday. Julie gave me 2 raised donuts.

Florence had a lot of fluid drawn today. Debby (Nurse) called to say my blood count was real high. I’m to stop Procrit shots. Vern called in evening. His doctor’s report was good. Juanita called in evening. Ken’s lawyer cancelled yesterday.

82° and 71°. Hot and humid. Bad thunderstorm at suppertime. Vi here for paper. Also Florence and Sally. Sally said Virginia Pastor died last night. 83 years old. Jessie came in PM to clean. She had to work at hospital in morning. We went for groceries. Sherry Parker from Office of the Aging here in late PM. I talked with Jim. He has a cold.

Was storming terrible in Pulaski section then. It was just raining here. Black water challenge kayaking weekend today very successful. The World Olympics ended today in Greece. The USA won 103 gold medals. More than any other country.

71° and 62°. A nice sunny day. Much cooler. I wrote Debby and sent her clippings. I went up to see Alice Porter in PM. Florence had her first chemo treatment for this second batch of treatments. She stopped by. Also Sally and Angie. Angie gave me a delicious tomato. Jolie called.

69° and 54°. Partly cloudy. Partly sunny. A bad hurricane Frances headed for Florida and the Carolina’s this weekend. Vi and Florence here. Florence has relatives in path of storm in Florida. 972 USA soldiers killed today in Iraq so far. 3300 students are enrolled in Jefferson Community College, Watertown, NY. I called Jim. He called back as he was riding his bike.

71° and 46°. A sunny day. Hurricane Frances getting closer to Florida coast. Folks moving inland. Jim’s 61st birthday. Vi here. Also Sally and Florence. Florence gave me watermelon and Sally gave me a tomato.

A great sunny day. Jolie called in AM. She has a new job at the Ford Dealership down the street from them. She starts Wednesday. She said Camille has a job in a cell center. A sunny warm day. Florence went to emergency room with terrible pains in her stomach. They let her come back home after lots of tests. I put clean sheets and cases on my bed. Will wash next week. Hurricane Frances moving slower toward Florida. Vi, Angie, Sally and Florence stopped by. I watched NASCAR from California. Zack there tomorrow.
