Sunday School Christmas program. Our postponed anniversary party at Ramada, 12:00. A great party. 21 there. Jolie and Shawn Michael came for us.

Sue B was here. Brought us loaf of Hawaiian bread. I worked at Christmas cards.

Senior Christmas dinner at Legion. 6:00 PM. We went. Had a delicious supper and good time. I made pies for Christmas. Lyla was over. Cheryl moving. Sent last of cards.

Wrapped gifts. Snowing some. Merrill cleaned driveways. Shawn Michael’s 4th birthday.

Merrill went for groceries in AM. He cleaned driveway first. Snowing some. I made chocolate chip cookies. My mixer burned out. Jolie called. Got package from Nancy, Tom, and Elmer. I made fudge.

Ecumenical Service at Baptist Church, 7:00 PM. We didn’t go. My cold is bad. Cough a lot. Merrill took chocolate chip cookies and fudge to Trerise’s. They gave him two kinds of cheese balls. June R was here. Brought gifts.

Merrill took trash. Washed clothes. Snow flurries. Opened Kansas package. Blanket for Merrill, Jams for me, candy, and calendar. Jim called.

Merrill went to church. I didn’t go as I coughed all night. we didn’t go in evening. Paul and Jim here. Brought turkey.

Jim, Sue, Paul, Jim Kelly, and Joe here for dinner. A great day together. Jim gave us too many gifts, as usual. snack tables, robe, socks, shirt, gloves, candy. Vern’s gave us a Jefferson County afghan, beautiful.

We got house back in order and dishes put away. Pauline and Margie were here in PM. Cha called from New Jersey to wish us a Merry Christmas.

Merrill returned jury questionnaire. We didn’t have Rebekah’s. Called Vern’s in evening.

Merrill went for groceries in AM. My cold still bad. Got anniversary card from Fran and Mickey. Also note.

Dental appointment postponed until next week because of my cold.

Washed. Jolie and Paul here for supper. They met with Rev. Elaine. Jolie did washing.

We went to church, 33. Communion. Jolie, Paul, and Shawn Michael there also. Vern and June here for dinner. Gave us a great picture of anniversary party.
