Cooler today. Sunny. Vivian was over. Brought me oatmeal from Sams. I made fruit cocktail cake. Called Vern. Dan and Robin there. Talked with Dan.

Got card from Jim and Sue from Maine. Washed clothes. Merrill went to dump. Cha gave us cakes.

We went to Pharmhouse. Paid first co-pay on drugs. We went to church, 48. Sunday School started. Clark brought us Philly Bar-B-Q dinner, $6.50. Good. Sue, Jim, and Ashley here in evening.

Robbins checked furnace. We had an oil leak. I talked with Vivian. Cha’s to rent their house next month.

My arthritis bad today. Had nail in tire. Merrill got it repaired at Carpenter’s Garage.

Jim called in AM from work. Wendell Wallace, 82 died of heart attack.

Merrill went for groceries in AM. Our electricity acting up. Power failed for 10 minutes at 7 PM.

Merrill mowed lawns. Power seems okay today. Vivian Trerise’s mother died today. Hazel McGuen, Fulton.

Merrill took garbage. Washed clothes. Vivian called to say her mother died. Jolie called in evening. Was making no bake cookies.

We went to church, 40 there. We got Chicken Bar-B-Q and brought them home for dinner. Good.

Merrill went to city for window glass, putty, and brads. I received new wallet from Arizona. Administrative Council, 7 PM. We went to it. First one in ages.

MM. I talked with Chomsun. Received shoulder bag from Arizona. Very nice. Merrill filled window onside porch. Painted it.

Sent Vern card, letter, and $10.00. Sent taxes and Robbins bill. Merrill got new window in porch. Debby stopped in on way home from Carthage.

Vern’s 59th birthday. I called Black River Housing. Maybe next week. Merrill went for groceries.

Last day of summer. Rained some in evening. Power off in evening for half hour. My arthritis hurting bad. Sue gave us zucchini bread.

First day of fall. Washed clothes. Merrill took garbage. I baked cake. Made scalloped potatoes for supper. Fran and Mickey Sullivan’s (?) 50th wedding anniversary.

Camp Sunday. Rev. Pam Lardeer preaching. Very good. 43 present. Vern called in PM.

Lyla was here. She took Cheryl’s toilet seat home. Cloudy day. Cold wind. 62°. Rain and thunder and lightning all evening.

Diane called. Bea Hubbard, 86 died yesterday. Merrill mowed lawns. 65° today. Rained in evening.

Rebekah’s election of officers. Rebekah’s went to Natural bridge to Bea Hubbard’s wake. I didn’t go. I went to meeting. Same officers in for another year. Ceiling insurance adjustor here. Will pay us $450.

Merrill took car to Cole Muffler for new tail pipe. $75.00. He went to drug store. Vi called. She has a new great granddaughter, Andrea Nicole, 6 pounds, 6 ounces. Merrill went for groceries in PM.

Merrill put on storm windows. A beautiful summer like day, 75°.

Washed clothes. Another great summer like day, 75°. Linda Belile has broken ankle.

World wide communion, 44 out. A great day. Jim here on bike. Jolie here with his truck as his bike quit at gas station.

Merrill painted (sealer) back porch. Warm today but windy. O.J.Simpson jury reached a decision in four hours.

O.J.Simpson found not guilty. Nothing else on TV all day.

B-12, 10:00 AM. Also went to store. raining. Sent Bea Gehm birthday card and note.

Bea Gehm’s birthday, 81. Merrill and Bea flu shots, 10 AM. Merrill went for groceries in AM. Talked with Vi. The baby and Susie are fine.

Dr. Woodcock, 10:00 AM. Merrill. Everything okay. Goes back in a year. Went to Pharmhouse. Went to Ames. Got mattress pad and 2 pillows. Rained all day.

Merrill took trash. Washed clothes. A nice day. Sunny. Used new pad and pillows on bed. Nice.

We went to church, 51. Nice service. Vern called in evening. Everything okay in Oswego.

No mail today. Paper came. Debbie and Shirley here in PM. Jolie called to say that Shawn Michael is in hospital with asthma. Vivian was over.

Sent Lyla birthday card. We went to see Shawn Michael in hospital. He’s much better. We met Nancy Lawler. Patty was there.

Lyla’s 68th birthday. Rebekah’s. I went. Called Vi. Got contracts back from Black River Housing Council. Great summer day. I called Vern’s. Sent for 2 slacks, 2 blouse.

UMW at Vi’s 1:30 PM. I went, 9 out. Started Bible Study at meeting. Nice. Merrill mowed lawns. Like summer. In the 70’s. Sue stopped by.

A beautiful day. Merrill raked leaves. I called Chip again. Get together for Carol Berry at Huntress. We didn’t go to it. Carol here but I was at UMW at Vi’s.

We went to church, 33. Rained hard off and on all day. CROP walk. Talked with Jolie.

Dr. Stark, 10:15 AM. Took blood tests. Weigh 145, blood pressure 130/80. Rebekah’s installation at Antwerp in evening. Chip V called. He’ll be here this week.

I called Black River Housing. Sent Aunt Maude card, 90th birthday. Two of Chip’s men here for electric. Chip called. Eric and Jolie called in evening. Jolie’s eye test in Syracuse better.

Chip Vaadi and 2 men here putting on roof on kitchen. Also started work on electric box. I made cake and cup cakes.
