Sunday School program during church, 93 there. Excellent. We had take out from new Philadelphia diner. Hamburgers, wings and fries. Called Vernon.

Sent my Christmas cards. Merrill took them to post office. Made dipped pretzels, chocolate and butter scotch. Cheryl Congdon called. They are moved into their new house they had built.

Merrill got hair cut. He got groceries. Vivian was over. Brought cheese ball and candy. Dan and Robin coming home today.

Dr. Wasicek, 12:15 PM. Couldn’t give me cortisone shot in knee because of kidney infection. Wants me to have hip replaced. To see him after January 4 to Dr. Stark. Church women, Methodist and Catholic pack shut in boxes.

Dr. Kayani, 9:25. Pressure 14 in both eyes. Trerise’s to New Hampshire. Closed out checking account at Fleet Bank. Shopped at mall. Got gift certificate for everyone. Merrill got drugs at Pharmhouse. I started taking Relefen tablets on my own. I had some left.

Ecumenical Church Service at church. Baptist Assembly of God and Catholics have part. Merrill went but I didn’t go. Too lame. 123 there. All four corners had a part. Assembly of God, Catholic, Baptist, and Methodist. Washed clothes. June Ridsdale here. Brought us gifts, candy and gloves.

Christmas eve services at Evans Mills. We didn’t go. Merrill went to store and cleaned house. Sue, and Gilenda brought us bread. 25 carolers here. Just great. Got stuff ready to tomorrow. Jim called. Also Vern. called Vi. Cha boys brought us cookies and cakes.

Christmas. 13 for dinner. Vern, June, and Bea, Jim’s family, Shawn Michael, Eric and Angee, Jolie’s’ friends. We gave family gift certificates. Jim got us beautiful floor lamp, me sweater. His dad, shirts and wool socks.

Lazy day. Got dishes put away. No mail. Times came.

Trerise’s home. Vivian called in evening. Steve, Kathy, Kristen, Dan and Robin here for lunch. Kristen brought us her picture. Jim came out after work to see them. I called Olive Sharpe. Grant is taking it easy. He goes to Syracuse Friday for more heart tests.

Rebekah’s. I didn’t go. Too sore. Snowed some. Ground white. Got letters from Social Security office about SSI. Got blanks for tax refund.

Colder, sunny. Talked with Social Security office. Talked with Patty for a long time. Sue was here. Brought church slips.

Esther called. She’s having birthday party for Ken, January 6th. Vi brough back folding chairs. I worked at church benevolence books.
