Only been riding it a couple times. His knee doing okay. Still doing therapy. Wallace Recore has been to court. Will get 5 months in jail and 5 years probation.

Washed clothes. My arthritis better today.

Back on old time. We didn’t go to church. Merrill not feeling good. Had a bad night. Couldn’t sleep. We went to emergency room by ambulance. Came home. He has pneumonia. Jim and Cliff brought us home.

Wallace Recore, 41 sentenced for DWI today. We opened new checking account with new Lisbon bank here at Philadelphia, $100. Changed Social Security. Check back. Paid water bill. Got groceries. Dr. Stark office called with my appointment with Dr. Wasicek for December 8, at 12:00 noon.

Raining. Merrill took trash. Washed clothes.

Baby shower for Lori Haggerty 1-4. Bonnie’s. I didn’t go. Jim called in AM. Jill at All Star Soccer meet at Albany. Merrill went to church. Jolie and Shawn Michael here for dinner. Also Eric Carlson. June and Vern called in evening.

Administrative Council, 7 PM. We changed our Direct Deposits to Philadelphia Bank. Lisbon bank. I’m awfully sore and lame today. Have used crutches to walk all day.

Election day. We voted in AM. Debby stopped by on way home. Her truck making a strange noise.

X-rays, SMC for Merrill. He went to city alone. Vivian was over. Brought macaroni and cheese. Rebekah’s but I didn’t go. Too sore and lame.

Dr. Stark, 2:30. Merrill, everything fine. He saw student doctor. We went to Marro’s to order wheel chair. We shopped at Pharmhouse. Merrill got work shoes at Sears. Ate lunch at McDonalds. Got a new kitchen light. Light stick, $10.68 at Ames. Chair $350.00. Some soldiers came home from Haiti.

Holiday, Veterans Day. We washed clothes. Merrill put up new light. Lyla stopped by. She likes her new apartment at Stonewood. Jim called in evening.

Donna, 11 AM. I got permanent. Merrill got groceries. Got checks from Lisdon bank, 50 free.

We went to church, 40 out. Sermon on rape. Charge Conference, 7:30. PPR, 7 PM. We went to it. About 15 there.

Roger, Gloria, and Sandy here. They took us up to the Snack Bar for lunch. We had good visit. Bad storm in Haiti, 100 killed. More soldiers returned home from there today. A great day, 67°

Debby’s truck broke down. Merrill went to George’s for her. She took our car home over night. She cleaned the kitchen, breakfast room, and bathroom walls while she was here. She was here for super. Jolie called. Shawn Michael has asthma.

Debby here about all day. They didn’t get her truck fixed. Vern called this morning. They want to either bring Thanksgiving dinner here. or they will take us out to Ramada. Icalled Jim in evening. Got birthday card and letter from Beulah Talked with Jolie. Shawn Michael is feeling better.

Merrill took Debbie after her truck to George’s. New clutch etc. Cost her $427. Frank Pelan got home from Haiti, Jolie’s friend. Washed dark clothes.

Merrill painted leaks in breakfast room roof. He went for groceries in AM. Got birthday card from Lyla. Jolie called. Shawn Michael better. We are all going to Ramada for Thanksgiving.

Merrill went to church, 49 out. I didn’t go. Was too lame. Called Vern’s. Talked with Steve also. Thanksgiving supper at church in evening, but we didn’t go.

My birthday. Jim, Sue, and Ashley here for supper. Jim went to store and got cube steaks, birthday cake, and ice cream. He and Merrill cooked supper. Ashley brought me two birthday balloons. Very windy all day and evening.

Vi was over and spent PM. Borrowed folding chairs. Chomsun Cha brought us lovely fruit basket. Debby and Kyle stopped in on way to Lorraine. She brought a broccoli dish she baked. Very good. Got a great letter from Steve.

Merrill went over town. Paid his ambulance fee, $25.00. Nice day but cold here. A foot of snow at Lowville. Pulaski and Sandy Creek schools closed because of snow.

We had dinner at Ramada Inn. Lovely dinner and time together. 15 of us went. Vern, June, Bea, Merrill and I, Jim, Sue, Joel, Jill, Jolie, Shawn Michael, Eric Carlson, Cliff, Renee, and Ashley. Vern and Jim gave me electric lift chair. Vern, June, and Bea came after us and brought us home. Jim, Sue, and Ashley here in PM and evening also. Jolie in hospital overnight with a kidney stone.

Merrill went for groceries in PM. Lazy day. Enjoyed my new lift chair.

UMW Christmas covered dish. 1 PM. 11 out to it. Nice dinner and meeting. Set up for Bazaar Saturday afterwards. Merrill went for groceries in AM. Got anniversary card from Loren and Vera Strader from Canada. Philadelphia bank received our SSI.

Washed dark clothes. Sue’s birthday. Wrote Jim. Philadelphia bank of Lisbon received our Social Security for first transferred from Fleet.

Church Bazaar. I made sandwiches for it. Made $835.00. Washed clothes.

We went to church , 61, communion. A very warm nice day. Sue’s birthday.

Raining and dark all day. I made 2 apple pies for Christmas all my myself. First I’ve made in months. My legs very tired. Merrill washed up bake dishes.

Got down Christmas decorations and tree and started decorating. My legs very lame today. Hurting. Philadelphia bank got our Social Security on 2nd.

Snow on ground this morning and still snowing. Jim went back to work today. Out since February 19. We put up rest of decorations. Not as many as last year. I washed black and blue slacks. Merrill went to bank and store. Elmer called from Kansas in evening. Paid fuel, cable, and light bill.

Dr. Wasicek, 12 noon. Was there until almost 4 PM. Got through exam. EKG, breath test. Took fluid from my right knee. Also urine test. Had blood work and chest x-rays and joint x-rays at Medical Arts building. Sure done in when I got home. Saw Claire Ponzi at clinic. They are moving to Alabama next month.

Went to Dr. Stark’s to have blood pressure taken. He put me back on blood pressure pills,Tenex. We shopped at Pharmhouse. Raining and freezing on in evening. Got anniversary cards from Vern and June, Bea, and Carl and Helen. Bea has to have open heart surgery again after the new year.

Washed clothes. Worked at Social Security papers.

Our 59th anniversary. We went to church, 48 out. Cold but sunny. Snowed over night.

Cold, down to zero in morning. Sunny. Found rest of Social Security papers. They are ready for exam. Shawn Michael and Jolie called. Jim went back to work last Wednesday, the 7th.

Beautiful day. We got Christmas package from Nancy and Tom Neal and Elmer Tryon from Kansas. Calendars, candy and lap afghan. We took records out to Social Security office. All okay. Talked with Vi. She had good trip to New York City with Martha.

Rebekah’s Christmas party. Lunch at new place in Philadelphia Plaza at 12:00. Meeting at hall afterwards. 14 present. Lyla was here while I was gone. Robbins men cleaned furnace. Sue and Gilenda here in evening.

Fireman’s Auxiliary sent me 15, 42¢ stamps, $6.30 for Christmas.

Baptist supper. We didn’t go this year.
