Appointment with Donna, 6 PM, permanent, $20.00. Good to get hair cut. My arms too sore to take care of it. Rebekah’s go out to eat at noon to Foxy’s at Cape Vincent. I didn’t go. Car to Mike’s repair. Canceled. Can’t do it until next Monday. We went to city. Merrill returned sneakers at Wal-Mart. I made appointment to see Dr. Stark Wednesday at 3:45 PM. Rained hard in evening. Warm.

Merrill went to Gambles at Carthage for lawn mower housing, $219.35. He put mower together and finished mowing lawn. Washed my hair. Washed white clothes. John, Darcy, and Brent, home from Florida.

Still hot. In the 90’s. Merrill mowed side lawn. My arthritis so bad I can hardly get around.

Farewell party for Rev. Carol, 6 PM. Covered dish. In the 90’s. We went for program. Lasted 2 hours. June and Vern here today. Brought me high seat for toilet. Great. Darcy and Brent over.

Merrill went to church, 47 out. I didn’t go. Cooler today. Merrill went for groceries in PM. Quiet day for Father’s Day.

Nice day. Merrill took car to Mike’s garage for new doors. He finished mowing lawns. I washed clothes.

Merrill finished mowing lawns. Finally got our car home from Mike’s Body Shop, $810.40. Elmer Gleason took Merrill down to get it. Got letter from Beulah. Don has cancer on that spot on his arm. Goes to Dr. Mianert Thursday. Nothing to eat or drink after midnight.

Upper GI Tests. Hospital 9:00 AM. Tests at 9:30 AM as an outpatient. A hard day. Used hospital wheel chair. Merrill went for groceries in PM. Baxter Macklin died yesterday.

Jim goes to doctor in Syracuse. Don goes to Dr. Mianert about his arm. Gary Belile 53, died at 1:10 this morning. Darcy came and told us in PM. Funeral Saturday at 10 AM. Graveside Antwerp. Vern and June had car accident. No one hurt. $3200 car damage.
