UMW covered dish, 6 PM at Chase Harringrton manor with Diane. 13 members, 4 guests. Merrill stayed with Bill Mowers. We went for groceries in AM. Lyla stopped by. Brought me bottle of cinnamon, $3.49. Glenn Coon fell and is in hospital.

Warmer. Snow all melted. We went to city shopping. I got black shoes and grey-pink sweater. Gave Sue birthday card at store. New Court Street Bridge opened today. We drove across it. It’s great. Can see up and down river. Took 6 months to build.

Sue’s birthday. I washed clothes. Lame and tired today. Too much shopping yesterday. Rained all day.

Communion, Mary Hall helped me. My last time. 48 at church. Cobby Slate there. Dawn H called in evening.

Linda B left for two weeks at Bennington. Army work. Sent checks to pay bills. My arthritis bad. Still my arms and shoulders. Got note, first Christmas card, and anniversary card from Beulah M.

Rebekah’s Christmas meeting at John Hoover Inn, 13 members and 1 guest. I went with Zelda. Vi didn’t go. Still sick. We went to Seaway shopping. Rev. Dick Graves called. Invited us to supper at Baptist Church Friday. Sent Roy and Carol birthday card. Put canned goods in mailbox. Sent first Christmas card to Beulah.

Rev. Carol’s birthday. Made cookies. Jill was in an accident at Natural Bridge at 2 AM. Jan Coburn, Jesse (?) Kellar, Stephanie Ayers, and Christine Ricabar driver of her car. Jill had head injuries and broken finger. Jim called. I called Vern. Jill called in evening. I called Sue.

Roy’s 91st birthday. We took him poinsettia plant. Arlene there. Went to see Aunt Maude. Went to hospital to see Jill. She had to have more tests because of blood on kidney. She was ready to go home. Patty there. We went to Seniors supper at Baptist church. Rev. Dick gave us gift. They sang happy anniversary to us.

Our 58th anniversary. Snowing and cold. Washed. Merrill took garbage. Jim and Jill called. Jill went home. Patty called. We went for groceries in PM.

Sent first Christmas cards. Merrill and Elmer set up staging for Sunday School

Vi’s birthday. We went to city shopping. Sue ate lunch with us at mall.

Got nice picture of Steve, Kathy, and Kristen. Shut In boxes in PM. Had about 25. Lots of help and food. We delivered some. Carolers in PM. We weren’t home. We went for groceries in morning. Washed clothes. Snowed some. Jolie called. Boscheck’s gave us bread.

Sunday School program during church hour. 2 dozen cookies. Very nice program Over 100 there.

Shawn Michael Lawler II, 2nd birthday. Sent last of Christmas cards. Wrapped gifts. Merrill went to trustee meeting but not enough for meeting. Darcy, John, and Brent got to Gary and Linda’s from Florida.

Snowing. Got quite a lot. Finished wrapping gifts. Jim called.

Ecumenical service, 125 there. No Catholics. Nice service. Rebekah’s canceled. We went for groceries in AM. Very stormy. Jim called. 3 feet of snow at cabin. Cleared in evening. Merrill cleaned driveway with snow blower.

Made apple pie. Darcy, John and Brent here in PM. Darcy is pregnant. Due August 1st. In Times that Jolie called police to get Shawn out of her apartment last night. Sunny day.

Christmas Eve services at Philadelphia church. Church full, 130 there. Just great. June Ridsdale here. Brought us box of chocolate and $100. Washed clothes. Got things ready for dinner tomorrow. We were invited to party at Collins but we didn’t go. Cha kids here in evening.

Jim, Sue, Jolie, Shawn Michael, Larry Beach, Joel, and Jill here for dinner. Great to be together. Jim’s gave us lamp, robe, overalls, shirt, jelly. Stormy in places.

We went to church, 34 out. Very cold and windy and stormy. Terrible Adams way, and in Lewis County.

Dr. Wercimski (Kayani) at 1:45. Everything okay. Pressure 14 and 16. Cold all day. Sunny, -14° in the morning. Still very cold. Called June and Vern. Sent order for vitamin C and Cal.

-8° this morning. I have sore throat. Cough a lot.

I have horrid cold. Sink drains still frozen. Howard and Evelyn called in evening. they leave for Florida Saturday morning if weather okay.
