UMW at church, 7:30. Merrill and I went to hear soldier speak on Somalia. Very interesting.

Rebekah’s District Meeting, 8 PM, 12 out. Mary Chamberlain voted DD president. We went for groceries at noon. Jolie, Baby Shawn, and Shelly here in AM. Merrill got hair cut at barbers over town, Leah’s house. Snowing about all day. Melting.

Fast time starts, 2 AM. Communion. Palm Sunday, 76 out. Nice service. I had nose bleed in church. Cloudy, rainy, snowy day, 40°.

Merrill’s appointment, Dr. Sherman, 1 PM. He had 2 blood tests at hospital. Saw Florence and Earl Yerdon. Earl in hospital with heart attack. Jim, Sue, and Ashley here in evening.

Girls here this AM. Administrative Council meeting. We went. Church to put on award dinner at school, May 19th.

Girls here in AM. I cleaned laundry room. Sunny day, 60°.

School out for spring break. Girls here all day. Sue had meeting. Merrill and I went for groceries in AM. Church 7:30, communion. Only 37 out but a very impressive service. Choir great. Sue brought us Easter lily. Marty Paro’s girl friend had baby boy born today. Carl David Martin Duane. Mother Fannie Nevilson (?).

Washed clothes and windows. A great day. In the 60’s. We went to church at Mills in evening. Impressive service. I called Rosalyn (?) in Syracuse.

Cooked ham and got stuff ready for tomorrow. Merrill went to dump.

Bea brought us azalea plant. We didn’t go to Easter breakfast. Went to church only. June, Vern, Bea, Jim, Jill, Jolie, Larry, Baby Shawn, Sue, and Ashley here. Sue went to hospital on way with her eye. Joel working. Lots of water everywhere.

Rainy, cold day. Lyla stopped by. Gave me her picture. I’m tired today.

Jill leaves for Florida with band at 5 AM. Merrill went to store. Water still high all over.

I’m feeling better today. Not so lame. Rebekah’s, 11 out. Beautiful day. Warm and sunny, 60°. Snow all melted and water back to normal. Lots of damage.

Great day. Rev. Carol called. She is going to Ohio Sunday for 9 days. Her father is having an operation. New K-Mart store opens on Arsenal Street.

Raining. We went for groceries in AM. Washed dark clothes. Merrill cleaned and shampooed kitchen and hall carpet with new cleaner. They look nice.

Got stuff back in kitchen. Washed clothes. Raining all day. Flooding again in rivers.

Rev. Carol in Ohio. Rev. Chapman here in pulpit exchange. 50 at church. Nice sermon. Anniversary for Gladys and Ted at Hilltop. Great day together. Dinner, vows, etc.

Jill gets home from Florida. Jolie called. She is having awful headaches. Boscheck girls here before school this week. Trustee meeting, 7:30. Merrill went. 4 out. Rev. Carol’s father has operation.

Lazy day.

Dr. Sommer’s, 11:45. Have 2 cavities to fill, April 30. Rainy all day.

Dr. Sherman, 10 AM. Merrill had cystoscope exam. Needs operation, May 12. Snowing all day. Everything white again. About 4 inches of snow on ground. Plows out. Called Vern in evening. Also Jolie. She had strep throat.

Lots of schools closed because of storm. Indian River open. Carthage and Adams and Gouverneur among many closed. We went for groceries in AM. Snow melting. Lots of water.

Sunny and warm. Washed clothes. Wrote Beulah. Scott and Kristen Thayer have baby boy, Cody Scott, born today.

We went to church, 47 out. Jan Liscomb in charge. Rev. Carol’s dad had gall bladder out. Called Joel. Jim called.

Wrote Beulah Congdon. We started cleaning living room. Cloudy and cold day. Vi and Bill got a new car. Chevy.

Bill, 12:30 PM. Merrill stayed with him while Vi went to lawyers. Merrill shampooed living room and bathroom carpets. Sunny and warmer. I ironed napkins and stand clothes.

Donna, 4:30 PM. Got permanent, $20. Nice day. Sunny. Rebekah’s, 10 out. Gary B was over. He had lunch with us. Rev. Carol called in evening. Sent Kathy card, letter, and $5.00.

Kathy’s birthday. 30 years. We went for groceries in AM. Merrill took off storm windows and put on screens. I washed slacks. A great day, 75° and sunny. Frogs hollering in evening.

Dr. Sommer, 11:45 AM. Got tooth filled, $58.00. I have cold. Feel punk. Cloudy. Not as warm. Got invitation to Roger Audrey’s wedding, May 25. Vern called in evening. Bea has heart tests May 10th.
