Nice day. My side still sore.

Temperature down to 40° last night. Sunny day. I feel some better today. Not so sore.

Cloudy and rained in PM and evening. We went for groceries. Got invitation to Jerry Ashley and Amy Horder’s wedding reception, July 25.

Washed clothes. Windy. Cloudy and sun shine by spells. Marquelle Landaus and another girl here in evening singing America. So nice.

Church at 9 AM. Communion. We went. Only 24 out. Cold all day. Sun out in PM.

I baked chocolate chip cookies and 2 dozen cup cakes. Merrill worked in garden. Sunny but cool.

Moving van moved Cha’s furniture to New Jersey. Chomsun and kids staying here. Sunny all day.

I called Jim’s. We picked peas and berries. Went up to Don and Juanita’s. Stopped at Jolie’s on way home. Gave her berries, card, and $10 for birthday.

Merrill mowed lawns. I washed dark clothes. We went for groceries. I talked with Jolie. June called. Don Gehm 80, died at 5:30 this morning.

Jolie’s 21st birthday. I washed clothes. Made 1 pie for pie sale and cake for Jolie. We went over town to hear Army Band and see cloggers dancing in evening. Wrote Bea Gehm. Sent $10 to Minetto United Methodist Church.

Quaker Day pie sale for church. Made $316. Merrill took my pies over to it. Got $10 money order from June R.

We went to church. 45 out. We went to chicken Bar-B-Q and parade. Ate dinner with Lyla and Boscheck’s. Rained again in evening. Called Jim. They didn’t get out.

Merrill took car to George’s for oil change. Steve here at supper time on way home from Gouverneur. Went there last night.

Cloudy, rainy and cold.

My left hip hurting bad today. Didn’t do much but rest all day. Merrill making a step ladder. Raining and cold. Got 3 “Bless This House” tapes from Reader’s Digest. Very good.

Sunny and warmer today. Feels great. We went for groceries in AM. Made three bean salad for Sunday.

Cloudy and raining again. Merrill mowed lawns. I washed clothes. Jim and Vern called in evening.

Don Gehm’s memorial at Minetto United Methodist Church. We went. Very nice service. Went to Vern and June’s afterwards. Kristen and Chelsea (Donna’s baby) so sweet. Both walking now, 14 and 15 months old. We stopped at K Mart on way home. Had supper there.

Haggerty Reunion City Park. We didn’t go to church. Our car started to smoke when we start it and backed out of driveway. We went to Reunion with Lyla. 45-50 there. We ate in pavilion at City Park. Vern and June, Don’s came. Jim went also. Froze peas in evening.

George and Peggy Sepko came after our car in AM. Their son Martin was in car accident in PM. He has head injuries. Sunny but rainy and wind at supper time.

Rev. Carol called to see why we weren’t in church. She thought we might be ill.

Temperature down to 50°. A very cold wet summer so far.

Got car home. Had an oil leak. Cost $63.93. Joey took Merrill to Mills. We went for groceries. Sent Don birthday card and letter. Raining again and cold.

Merrill mowed lawns. Sunny and warm. Washed clothes. Jim called in evening. He’s at the fair all next week.

Jerry Ashley and Amy Holder wedding. We went to reception at Legion. A very nice reception. Lots of folks there. Cloudy but warm day. A little sun out in morning.

Susie Gleason’s shower. A large turn out. She got lots of gifts, 30 there. Cloudy, cool day. Rev. Carol goes to Aldersgate. Gilenda, Jimmy, Danielle go also.

Cloudy and windy. I washed my white clothes. I froze string beans. Did some hand mending.

Dr. Siegel, 1 PM. Took blood for tests. Weigh 151. Blood pressure 138/82. Elgin called. They are coming Saturday. I ordered ice cream for church. Rained during night. Gloria and Roger here while we were gone.

Gloria and Roger, and Sandy here most of forenoon. We went over to garage sale at Barb McKeever’s. Sunny but cool.

Dark, cold, rainy day. Made salad for tomorrow.
