Sent Robin birthday card and Rev. Carol card. Cloudy and rainy.

Edna Cross, 77 died this morning. Sun out today. Very foggy in morning. We cleaned living room. Washed curtains and woodwork.

Rebekah’s had service for Edna at Philadelphia funeral home at 3 PM. We cleaned dining room. Nice today. Merrill repaired side porch roof.

We went to city. Got 16 inch fan at Ames. Merrill got pants, ties, and socks. We went to see Aunt Maude. Merrill visited Mike Miothal (?). I went to UMW at church in evening.

We went for groceries in AM. I made cookies and candy for camp bake sale. Rained some. Got card from Lyla from Ma..(?)

Washed clothes. Raining off and on. Called Jim in evening.

40th anniversary for Howard and Evelyn Hall at Sahara, 1 PM. A great time together. We went to Sunday School 41, and church 81. Last Sunday of Sunday School.

Merrill started mowing lawns but lawn mower broken. He went to Saw Barn for parts. Jim, Jolie, Shawn, Sue and Ashley here for supper. Kids so cute. Jim not feeling good. Paid bills. Washed dark clothes.

Merrill went to Saw Barn twice, but lawn mower won’t start with new parts. Sharon Lawler stopped for DWI and speeding at 3 AM.

Wrote June and Vern. Merrill went to Saw Barn. He can’t get mower going. Joey took mower to Saw Barn as Merrill couldn’t get it going. I went to Rebekah’s in evening.

Boscheck got a 2 month old Spaniel puppy, “Blue”. Lazy day. Merrill finished mowing lawns with push mower.

We went to city. Got paint at Sears. We went to City Park. Jolie and Shawn went with us. Mower is fixed, $72.05. Went for groceries on way home.

Washed clothes. Sue’s son married today in garden wedding. Vern and June called. Don Gehm quite bad.

Church picnic and party for Rev. Carol. 55 in church. About 75-80 for picnic. The Martin family had services. They are great. John Hodie, and 4 children (2 boys, 2 girls). Gave them love offering. Evans Mills folks came for picnic and party for Carol. A great day.

We cleaned breakfast room and part of kitchen. Joey went to Saw Barn for our riding mower. Linda Belile has new car.

We finished cleaning kitchen. We went up to Diamond to Sue’s camp in PM. There for supper. It’s so pretty up there. Jim, Ashley, and Mike there also.

A great day. In the 80’s. Howard and Evelyn stopped by in PM. Mom would be 100 today.

Rebekah’s out to eat to Fargo’s, 6 PM. 15 present. Leah, Diane and I went with Ginny. We went for groceries. Merrill started mowing lawns but mower quit again. Used push mower.

Merrill and Howard went berrying to Behlings at 6:30 AM. Merrill picked 19# at 65¢. Howard took mower to Saw Barn. He and Merrill went to Black River for load of stale bread for cattle in PM. Thunder storm and raining.

Raining and colder. Washed clothes. Made brownies and Bar-B-Q spare ribs for supper.

First day of summer. Cold and rainy. We went to church 27. Charlie Covell preached. Jim, Jolie, Jill, Walt, and Mike Miller here for cook out dinner. Jim brought it. We ate in house with furnace on.

Heather and Gilenda here most of day. They got out at 10 and 12. Last day of school.

Girls here from 6:30-2:30. No school. Debby H and friend here with wheelbarrow. Got cement and gravel from her, $10. I baked apple and rhubarb, and strawberry pies. Got card from Vern and June from Virginia.

Rebekah’s in PM. Last meeting until September. 12 out. Debby and friends, Shirley and Rob here in PM. Wrote Vern and June. Sent June birthday card.

Merrill put in cement by garage door. Warmer in PM. We went for groceries in AM.

Sunny 70°. Indian River Graduation. Stephanie Cha, Laura Lancaster. Also Aaron Cook and Troy Listen. Joey went to Saw Barn for our mower, $246.10. June’s 54th birthday. Merrill mowed lawns with mower.

I washed clothes. I called June and Vern in morning. Merrill went to dump and worked in garden. We went to cook out at Cha’s across road in evening.

South Jefferson graduation. Will Draper. We went to church. 67 out. Watson and Lynch babies baptized. We went to drug store in PM. Doris Haggerty called. Haggerty reunion is July 19.

Nice today. Sunny 75°. We cleaned upstairs. Washed curtains. My side very sore in evening
