Limit on Medicaid visits and drug starts. We went to Sunday School 34, and church 47. Jim, Joel, and Jolie here for dinner. Jim had nice pictures of Viet Nam wall at park. Hot and humid in PM.

Foggy in morning. Hot and humid all day. 80°. Jim and Sue here for lunch. They took us to Diamond to see camp Sue is buying. We stopped at Arline Bates and Roy’s. Enjoyable day. Made applesauce.

Raining. We went for groceries in AM. Went to funeral home for Muriel Coon in PM. Leah S went with us. My arthritis bad all day. Vern and June called in evening. Robin’s friend killed in car accident. She is home for funeral. Girls grandmother bad in Michigan.

Vern’s 55th birthday. Family party at Cindy and Ethan’s. 19 there. Cool but great day together. Karen couldn’t come but will October 10th. She came to a seminar in NY City. We stopped to see Beulah on way home. Killing frost over night but in 70’s today.

Merrill went to Sunday School 37, and church 57. I didn’t go. Vern, June, Steve, and Kathy and Kristen here for dinner. Kristen’s first visit here. She is so sweet. They left about 4:30 PM. Bea Gehm’s birthday. I washed clothes. Very windy but sunny and warm, 80°. Work Bee at church. They put two electric heaters in fellowship room, painted nursery, etc. We didn’t help.

Administrative Council, 7 PM. We didn’t go. Called Jolie. She has first Lamaze Class tonight. Merrill put on storm windows. Helen Kiechle called. I made cup cakes for lodge supper. Jim, Sue, and granddaughter, Ashley, 5 months, here for supper. Jim took lawn mower to Mills. He cut rest of trees in back yard.

Bill got home from hospital. Foggy in morning. Gary took Merrill to Saw Barn for our lawn mower. Cost $29.96. Merrill mowed lawns. I washed clothes. My cold still bad. I’m so sore from coughing. Food sale, but I didn’t bake anything.

Aunt Maude’s 86th birthday. Vern and June here for supper. They brought fish and salad, and cider. Also wood for kindling. Got nice letter from Robin and Dan. We went for groceries. June gave us nice pictures of Kristen and us.
