Ground Hog saw his shadow. I washed clothes. Warmer. A just beautiful day. In the 40’s. Sunny. Merrill washed off car dirt. Jim called at supper time.

Postage goes up to 29¢ today. We went to Sunday School 42, and church 70. Jim here in PM. Brought us Jill’s, and Joel’s picture. Mike and Chris Lynch’s 18th anniversary.

A great spring like day, 55°.

Another beautiful day but not as sunny as yesterday. Foggy in evening. Mended clothes on machine.

Still foggy, 50°. We went for groceries in AM. Paid light bill at bank for first time. Bought first 29¢ stamps. Danny Thomas, 77 died of heart attack. Got letter from June and Vern.

Week of Prayer and Self Denial program at church, 7:30, 9 out. Nice program. I wrote Donna. Cloudy, foggy and rainy, 40°. Very foggy in evening. Got wedding pictures of Dan and Robin’s wedding. Very good. June sent them.

Another nice day. In the 40’s. Girls here 5 mornings this week.

Washed clothes. Another nice day. Debbie called Kyle. Coming to spend day on the 19th. Lyla called in PM. Had good visit.

We went to Sunday School 44, and church 86. Children sang. They sounded great. a nice sunny day but cooler, 32°. Lori and Lisa Moffet here in PM.

Some snow on ground this morning. Sunny and snowy at times. Sent Joel card, note, and money. Sent Secret Pal Valentine.

Down to 0°. Sunny but cold. Made calls for Olan Mills.

Ash Wednesday. Mills at 7:30. We went. Very nice. Rebekah’s, 13 out. DDP didn’t come again. Joel’s 15th birthday. Wrote June and Vern.

Snowing. We went for groceries in morning.

I canceled Dr. Siegel because of snow storm. Snowing and windy. School closed at 9:30. Boscheck girls here all day. Bob came home about 3 PM. Made Olan Mills called. Robert Congdon called.

Sent Jill card, note and $5.00. Eleanor Henderson called to say David Rudes, 47 died yesterday while shoveling his driveway. I washed clothes. Made Olan Mills calls. Sunny and cold. -5° this morning.

Very stormy in morning. We went to Sunday School 33, and church 67. Evans Mills church closed. Merrill cleaned out driveway. Sunny and beautiful day in PM. Merrill went to store.

President’s Day. Big day in city. No school this week. Winter vacation. Beulah C, Robert, Cheryl, Breanne, Christine, and Ricky here. Ricky 12 years old, 6’3”. Lives with them now. Beulah spent day. All here for supper.

Kyle here for day. Debby and kids here for supper. Cloudy and rainy. Jill’s 16th birthday.

Tired today. Washed dark clothes. Hung them outside all day. Lenten Bible study, 11 there. Taught by Rec. Carol. Nice.

We went for groceries in AM. Sent Dan card, note, and $5.

Lasagna supper at church. Merrill took cake over and got me lasagna. Good. About 80 tickets sold. $5.00 and $2.50. My arthritis terrible today. Can hardly move.

Dan’s 24th birthday. Washed clothes. Darcy here with Sunday School materials. Ground war started today. Called several about Olan Mills pictures.

We went to Sunday School 38, and church 65. My hip very sore. Some snow flurries but warmer.

Girls back today after winter break. Cloudy and some snow flurries but mostly sunny. We both got letter from Social Security. $149.70 more a month. Kathy Van Tassel here in evening.

Olan Mills at Church. We had our picture taken. My hip still sore. Rev. Carol Berry worked on enrollment for me.

Fighting has ceased. Kuwait City once again is free. War going great. Called Vernon. I called Social Security office. I went to lodge. Helped at church on way home with Olan Mills. Bible study at Mills, 8 PM. We didn’t go to Bible Study. Too snowy. School vote on budget. Didn’t pass.

We went for groceries. Merrill got a drill holder, $10. An early Birthday present. Girls not here today. Bob home. So great to hear only peace plans.
