Belile’s got home from Florida. Vern, June, Dan, Robin, Bea, Jim, Sue, Jill, and Joel here for dinner with us. Jim’s car quit near Philadelphia. Vern picked them up. Vern’s gave us 5 foot Christmas tree and ham.

Heather 10, and Gilenda 8 started coming in morning full time before school. Bob has new job.

Washed table clothes. Worked at church books. Vivian was over. Brought us cheese ball. Nice but cold. Took down Christmas decorations.

We went for groceries. Snowy in morning. Snow blowing around. Got tax refund blank. Sent Ken card and letter.

Ken’s 71st birthday. We went to Sunday School 44, and church 39.

Administrative Council, parsonage 7:30. Good meeting, 9 there. Talked more about new kitchen addition. Also photo project. Sunny but cold. I called bank about CD.

We went for groceries in AM. Sunny but cold. Jim called. His car motor blew.

Washed dark clothes. Down to zero in morning. Started snowing about 2 PM. Sleet in late evening.

Merrill cleaned driveway with snow blower. Washed clothes. I called Elgin. Carmi not feeling too good.

Snowing off and on in morning. Sunny in PM. We went to Sunday School 44, and church 54. I called Ken in PM. He has to be at hospital at 6 AM on Thursday.

Boscheck girls not here this week as their grandfather is there this week from Long Island. Warmer and Cloudy. Merrill called Gladys. She says Velma is bad.

War deadline tonight at 12 PM. No change as yet. A prayerful day. I baked fruit cocktail cake, cinnamon rolls, plain rolls, and scalloped potatoes. Warmer in the 40’s.

Raining. Persian Gulf War-Operation Desert Storm started at 7 PM our time, 3 AM their time. Esther called twice. Ken had prostate gland operation at 1 PM. All going well. Sent Beulah C card and letter. Sent back tax form to Ray Petrie.

Our thoughts with Donnie Hanson, age 20, in war. War going okay this morning. We went for groceries in AM. War news on TV and radio all day. Called Ken’s at supper time. He’s doing fine. I called Gloria Collins.

Wintery. Some schools closed. Better in evening. I called Ken. He’s feeling good. No one got to see him today because of weather.

Washed clothes. I called Pauline Roggie. She’s okay but lonesome at times. Jim called. Jill at Philadelphia Middle School for cheer leading competition.

We went to Sunday School 54, and church 64. I called Ken. He goes home today.

Martin Luther KIng Day. No school or mail. Down to -3° this morning. Cold all day. Sunny.

Jim joined police force January 22, 1968, 23 years ago. We went to Social Security office and drug store. Got letter from June. Don fell and broke his hip Sunday the 13th. Is in Oswego Hospital.

Jim starts his 24th year on force. Rebekah’s, 10 out. Snowy in evening. Meeting at parsonage with Olan Mills people at 6:30. Rosie, Marie, Lori, and I. They decided to do it. Merrill paid taxes, $403.93.

Heather here all day. She has tonsillitis. A sick little girl. Mrs. Natelen called. I called Vern’s in evening. They were getting storm. It was nice here. We went for groceries in evening.

Warmer. Sunny. We went to Marine Midland Bank at Mills and each took out a funeral fund.

We went to Social Security office. Went out to Don’s and Roy’s. Called Ken’s. They haven’t heard from Donnie since he called Christmas day. Juanita very upset. She can’t watch news.

Merrill cleaned driveway. Snowed about 3 inches over night. Beautiful day. I washed dark clothes.

Ground Hog saw his shadow. I washed clothes. Warmer. A just beautiful day. In the 40’s. Sunny. Merrill washed off car dirt. Jim called at supper time.

Postage goes up to 29¢ today. We went to Sunday School 42, and church 70. Jim here in PM. Brought us Jill’s, and Joel’s picture. Mike and Chris Lynch’s 18th anniversary.

A great spring like day, 55°.

Another beautiful day but not as sunny as yesterday. Foggy in evening. Mended clothes on machine.

Still foggy, 50°. We went for groceries in AM. Paid light bill at bank for first time. Bought first 29¢ stamps. Danny Thomas, 77 died of heart attack. Got letter from June and Vern.

Week of Prayer and Self Denial program at church, 7:30, 9 out. Nice program. I wrote Donna. Cloudy, foggy and rainy, 40°. Very foggy in evening. Got wedding pictures of Dan and Robin’s wedding. Very good. June sent them.

Another nice day. In the 40’s. Girls here 5 mornings this week.

Very stormy in morning. We went to Sunday School 33, and church 67. Evans Mills church closed. Merrill cleaned out driveway. Sunny and beautiful day in PM. Merrill went to store.

President’s Day. Big day in city. No school this week. Winter vacation. Beulah C, Robert, Cheryl, Breanne, Christine, and Ricky here. Ricky 12 years old, 6’3”. Lives with them now. Beulah spent day. All here for supper.
