We went for groceries in AM. Sunny and warm, 71°. I sent two insurance claims to AARP. UMW at Margaret’s, 13 out. Cindy Watson and Marion Quinger there for first.

Another nice day. Sunny and warm. Washed clothes. Shooting at Lowville. Woman killed by boy friend. He shot himself in shoot out with police. He wounded a couple sisters of woman.

Raining, and snow in some places. Merrill went to dump. I washed clothes. Merrill bought 8 cords of wood from Joey @32. He brought 5 cords of them in PM.

Rain and snowy. Margaret went with us to Charge Conference, 7:00. About 25 there. We served cider and donuts. We went to Sunday School 51 and church 56. I called Jim. Vern called in PM. Merrill put wood down cellar. snowing in PM.

Baked cake and cupcakes. Made pie crust. Boscheck girls here. Sue gave me $15. Steve and fellow worker here. They spent night in Potsdam. Vern hit a deer Tuesday and totaled his station wagon.

Down to 20° last night. We went to Sunday School 46, and church 74. Kids Sunday School sang in church. thanksgiving supper in evening, 6 PM. Followed by service. All just great. 70 to dinner and 90 to evening service. Communion.

My 73rd birthday. Merrill got hair cut, $5.00. Got groceries at store also. I called Patty. Got stuff ready for tomorrow. got letter from Donnie in Saudi Arabia. Heather and Christy brought me birthday flowers and car.

Debby’s 31st birthday. Thanksgiving. Vern and June here for dinner. They gave me cuddle blanket and jar opener for my birthday. Gave Dad 2 bricks for his bird feeder. Jim called twice. He had to work. Ate dinner at Sue’s.

Boscheck girls here in morning. PPR meeting at Mills. I went with Rosie. 7 present. My last meeting as chairman. We went to city in morning to renew my driver’s license, $17.50. Got eye drops. I have served on PPR committee for 18 years. Off this coming year.

UMW Bazaar at church. I helped from 9 AM to 2 PM. Good crowd. Made $608.46. Drove car over. Got card and letters from Don and Juanita. Merrill cleaned oven and floors while I was gone.

Paid bills. Wrote Don and Juanita. Merrill went over town. Got bank calendar. Terrible storm in evening. 60 mile winds. did lots of damage. We had a lot of branches down. Snowed in PM.

We put up decorations. Sent Rev. Carol birthday c card. Rev. Carol fell in front of village office and broke her right leg. She is in hospital until Monday. They will set it with pins and steel plate and put on a cast. I called District Superintendent and others to let them know.

We went to church 110. Sunday School program during church hour. Refreshments after. All just great. We called on Vera Rosbrook. Ecumenical church service, 7:00, at our church in evening. All churches in town. 190 there at service. Offering for Baptist Food Pantry, $140.00.
