Bob and Marion McNairn died at 2 AM in fire. Everett Carpenter hurt in fire at 5 AM. Merrill got parsonage sump pump repaired.

Sent Emma card and $1. Sent for vitamins, calcium pills. We went for groceries. A beautiful spring like day. Quite warm and sunny. World Day of Prayer service. About 25 there.

Emma Kerr-Carpenter’s first birthday. I washed clothes. Sunny but cold. Snowing some in evening.

We went to Sunday School 40, and church 51. Communion. Jim called in evening. All are well but busy. Alex Duffy’s house near Black River burned.

Sent Card to Jim Collins in NY City hospital. He had kidney removed last Thursday. Sunny day. Merrill went over town.

We went out to Beulah’s and Rob’s and Don’s. Talked with Ken on phone. good to see everyone. Took Roy baked stuff. Bible Study starts but we didn’t get home in time to go.

Chicken and biscuit church supper. They made over $400.00 on it. Washed dark clothes. Baked cake for church supper. A beautiful spring day. In the 50’s. Darcy and Brent here. Brent and Joey’s birthdays.

Merrill went to dump. Washed clothes. Foggy in evening. Hal and Kim had baby girl, Elizabeth Reanne.

We went to Sunday School 44, and church 67. Girl Scout Sunday. All very nice. A great day. In the 50’s and sunny.

Merrill checked sump pump at parsonage. I got 2 bottles of calcium tablets,d 100 by UPS. Trustee meeting, 7 PM. The church trustee fund has around $64,000 cash assets.

A great day. 70°-80°. Rebekah’s, 13 there. Edna Cross there for first in weeks. Talked with Jim and Gloria Collins out for a walk. He is doing great. Jim called in evening.

Frogs hollering in evening for first. Another nice day, 80°. We went to Bible Study in evening. We went for groceries in AM. Rev. Collin here to tell us they will be moving to Oswego this summer. Kathy to Trinity Methodist, and Collin to North Mexico. Made apple pie.

Another summer day. Washed 3 loads of clothes. Merrill split wood. I had bad head ache and eyes in evening. Too much sun I guess.

St. Patrick’s Day. Roberta’s birthday, 38. Merrill cleaned sump pump at parsonage. Vern and June called in evening. Dan and Robin are getting married August 11. My eyes bad today.

We went to Sunday Schoo l 42, and church 48. Rev. Collin announced they will be moving to Oswego in July. Jim, Jolie, and Jill here for supper. Joel playing ball. My eyes messed up yet today.

Jim in school all week, 8:30 – 4:30 on Washington Street. Bob Boscheck here in PM. My eyes still messed up. Raining.

Merrill’s 81st birthday. We went for groceries in AM. Joel and Sue here for supper. Brought Dad sport shirt and sweater. Kathy called. Also Gloria Verbridge. Dentist appointment at 11:30. Exam and filling, $37.00.

I washed clothes. Baked fruit cocktail cake for church supper. Made scalloped potatoes for tomorrow. Merrill cleaned floors. Made salad.

Lyla, Cheryl and Marion go to Florida. Vern, June and Bea Gehm here for dinner. Brought Dad hoe, bird feeder, corn flakes and lemon pie. Nice day but colder. Power off from 9 – 12 noon for repairs.

Gladys Lamon called. We went to Sunday School 44, and church 72. Lorraine and Kevin Pickert baby baptized. Also Pickert girl after church. filled out census. Sunny but windy. Merrill made 2 trips to church to start furnace in morning and shut off lights and doors in PM.

Sent Juanita card, and letter. Bob McClune called to set up meeting. Called ones on committee.

Dr. Scanlon, 1:30. (field tests) We went to see Aunt Maude. She looks good. Called Doris. Garmon real bad heart. Is in hospital. Did some shopping.

Meet at Philadelphia with District Superintendent 5 – 6 PM PPR, 10 present. Good first meeting on choosing a new pastor. Rebekah;s, 10 out. Got Girl Scout cookies. Thin mints $2.50.

We went for groceries. Sunny day. Cool 40°. We went to Bible Study in evening. Only 4 there.

Washed clothes. Cloudy day. A few snow flurries. My arthritis hurting.

Middle School dedication. We went to it. Just a beautiful school. Kids are so blessed today, computers, TV, VCR’s in all rooms.
