We went for groceries in AM. Sue here for church money. Baked cake for Kavanaugh’s and cupcakes for here. We went to funeral home in evening.

We went to church and picnic on parsonage lawn. Emmalee Rebekah Kerr-Carpenter baptized. Everything great. Even had home made ice cream. A hot day in the 90’s. About 100 there. All 5 churches.

Kyle here today. Merrill helped at Kavanaugh’s leveling off dirt on lawn. (Bob Payne). Debby has purchase offer on house at Gouverneur, $29,000. Hot and humid.

Don’s 66th birthday. Strawberry Festival at church 5:30. Great night for it. Good crowd. Made over $600. Doris and Lori here awhile in PM. Merrill and I helped in PM and evening. Hot and humid.

Dr. Siegel 1 PM. Blood pressure 102/80. Good for me. Everything okay. Cloudy. some rain and much cooler. Feels great. Froze 8 packages of green beans.

Crystal and Kyle here until 3 PM. They brought stuff I bought. Debby paid for it for baby sitting. Merrill watered Mary’s lawn and flowers. He mowed lawns here. I washed clothes.

Mark Draper gets home from West Germany. He’s been there 5 weeks with German class. Kyle here. Went home at 2:30. Debby had house closing. We went for groceries in late PM.

Elgin and Carmi here for dinner. We went out to mall in PM. They left about 4:30. Had nice visit. Jim called in evening. He is working on his back porch.

We went to church, 24 out. Catherine preached. Evans Mills had luncheon for her after church. Philadelphia invited. Merrill and I went. Also Marion S. Called Jim. also L McClune. Vern and June to spend night on way to Vermont. New church chimney finished.

Vern and June left about 8 AM for Vermont for 4 days. We went to Mills. Stopped at Leah’s new apartment. Very nice. Went to bank and cashed in certificate. Warm in 80’s.

Ken got here about 4 PM with his new GMC truck (1986). Debbie here on way home. Ken and Merrill went to beef cattle meet at Gouverneur in evening. Stopped to see Debbie’s’ new house.

We went to church, 22 out. DS McClune and Joyce in charge. We had PPR meeting at Mills after church. Raining out and warm. Jim, Walt, and Mike came to move van. Wheel on Jim’s truck broken so he had to call wrecker.
