Nice today. We had Rebekah’s in PM as there was court in Hall in evening. We went to Bible Study in evening. 6 of us there. Wrote June and Vern.

District Rebekah meeting at Antwerp. Merrill got hair cut, 4:75. Raining. My left side very sore. No work done all day.

Dr. Sommers, 11:45. Teeth cleaned, $23.00. Sunny day but cool. Merrill washed car. We went for groceries in AM. Patty called in PM. Talked for over an hour. Bob B took down sap buckets. He made 3 gallon of syrup.

Cloudy and rainy. Washed clothes. Linda over to borrow egg. She has thyroid trouble.

We went to Sunday School 38, and church 36. Blanch and Lisa LaLonde there. Open house at raised ranch house at Carpenter Meadows. We went down. Very nice. $60,000. We met Andy Beasley.

No school this week. Washed clothes. Merrill cleaned lawns and sanded rust on car. I put filler on kitchen sink and wash basin. Drain still frozen on wash basin. Merrill took off storm windows.

Back to 34°. Cloudy with sun in evening. Got letter from Mr. Jackson. No record at County Records of Ridsdale subrogation with 2 FHA. [subrogation definition – subrogation is the substitution of one person in the place of another with respect to a legal claim so that the substituted party gains the rights of the original.]Collin was here in PM.

Sunny, but cool. Sent letter to FHA asking for copy of Subrogation agreement made 6/14/79. We cleaned back room and porches. Merrill washed them all. We went to Bible Study. Frogs hollering for first this spring.

We cleaned kitchen. Nice sunny day but cool 50°. Sent copy of Medicare cards to state income tax office (Real EstateTax refund)

Finished cleaning bathroom. We went for groceries at noon. Got car paint at Napa store. Also visited Charles furniture store for first time. Sunny 60°.

Cold 32°. Washed clothes. Merrill cleaned floors. Jim called in evening. Was having a busy evening. Explorers are working Auto Show this weekend.

Cloudy and cold. 40’s. We went to Sunday School 44, and church 49. Arthritis telethon today. Got cards ready to send.

Sent Uncle Len birthday card for his 95th birthday tomorrow. Sent card to Esther Taylor. She had hip operation. We went to city and out to Don’s. There for supper. Talked with Ken. Stopped to see Roy. Stopped to see Aunt Maude in morning.

Warmer and sunny. We cleaned dining room. Put plants on front porch. Carl and Randy here. No Bible Study as Collin’s parents arrive tonight.

We cleaned bedroom and living room.Got long letter from June. They have new lawn mower. June is going to teach 3rd grade in the fall. They had lunch with Billy Graham at Rotary meeting in Syracuse. Ginny and I went to Lodge.

Sent Kathy card, letter, and $5.00. Merrill got sink drain unplugged with Belile’s snake. Washed living room draperies and put them up. Downstairs all cleaned. Upstairs yet to do. We went for groceries. We cleaned upstairs.

Kathy Tryon’s 26th birthday. Cloudy. Washed clothes. Put up curtains upstairs. Merrill took trash to recycling center.

We went to Sunday School 44, and church 49. Harold Curtis spoke on the Gideons Bibles. Jim, Jill, and Sue here for supper. We went down to see new houses. Billy Graham crusade closed in Syracuse. Twice the weekly attendance of 106,000.

Merrill painted rust spots on car. Warm and sunny part of time. Mildred Walts, 68 died on Sunday evening. Orrin is my second cousin.

Rained during night and all day. We need it so badly. Merrill put paint on car in garage.

Still raining. We went to funeral him in evening for Mildred Walts. Went to Bible Study afterwards. Last Bible Study until fall. We finished study of Revelations.

Sunny and warm, 68° We went for groceries in AM. Scraped windows of black paint.

Dr. Siegel, 11 AM. Blood pressure 150/80. Saw Dr. Siegel this time.

Raining all day. Washed clothes. Merrill cleaned floors. Got a note from Kathy and Steve. They have found a house to buy.

We went to Sunday School 41, and church 29. Communion. Cold and cloudy. Snow in Rochester and Buffalo. 9 inches at Rochester. We didn’t get any. Wrote letter to Vern’s.

Cold and cloudy. Merrill took letters to post office.

Mother and Daughter get together. Sandwiches at 6:30. About 100 there. Catholics, Baptists, Alliance churches all took part. Musical. I washed clothes. Jim, Sue, and 2 guys here for coffee with Merrill in evening. Had been canoeing.

Another nice day. In the 60’s. I raked out flower beds. We trimmed tree by our bedroom window. I didn’t get to Rebekah’s. Ginny didn’t go. Jill Ferrell very bad in hospital.

PPR Philadelphia. 7:30. 8 of us there. Planned summer schedule. Got Mother’s Day card from Patty.

We went for groceries in AM. Rained off and on all day. Foggy in evening. Made brownies. Merrill painted lawn chairs black.

Cloudy. Washed clothes. Merrill went to dump. Sent Patty birthday card. Linda Shorkey’s aunt is building new house on lot by Brians.

Mother’s Day. We went to Sunday School 44 and church 57. Jim and kids here for dinner. Vern called in evening. Nice day but thunder storm about 1:30. Jill Farrell died this morning.

Patty’s birthday. Merrill mowed lawns for first this year. 70°. I made cinnamon rolls. Darcy and Brent here. John left yesterday for training in Pennsylvania.

New State Police station opened in Philadelphia today. Cobby Slate here. He brought church key and books. Leaving our church. We went to funeral home for Jill. Stopped at Halls. Evelyn and Dawn there. Dawn engaged. We forgot to go to Administrative Council.

Jill Farrell’s funeral 11 AM at Theresa. We took food to Delles. A beautiful summer day. In the 70’s. Kids here selling candy bars after school. Merrill puttied windows.

Merrill got hair cut. I washed clothes. A great day. 80°. Worked at yard by lilacs. Washed brown clothes. Had fresh bullheads for supper. Got groceries.

Go to Vern’s. Got there about 4 PM. Steve, Kathy, Dan and Robin there for supper. Delicious ham supper.

Dan graduates from college. We all went. Very nice. Vern read names. Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude. Had picnic for Dan and Don Gehm’s birthday. We stopped at Ken’s. Saw Holly and family. Also Tammy and baby.

We went to Sunday School 35, and church 33. Rained in early morning. Sunny and windy. Cooler. Wrote Gehm’s.

Don Gehm’s 77th birthday. Sent him card and note. Merrill mowed lawns for 2nd time this year. Froze first asparagus. Jim, Sue and Rick Miller here in PM. Too windy to canoe.

I was sick all night with diarrhea. Feel punk. Washed clothes. Merrill worked at windows.

Rebekah’s. I went. Leah brought me home. Froze asparagus. Cooked rhubarb. Hardware store has moved out of Philadelphia. My eyes bad this PM.

Warm cloudy day. Rained at supper time. Merrill painted at trim on windows. I washed and ironed dress clothes and work clothes.
