Perm hair appointment with Donna 9:30. $20.00. Donna gave me curling iron. They black topped road by motel, Philadelphia Courts, and end of our street. My hip very sore.

Kyle here today. Don Gehm enters Harrwood Nursing Home at 10:30 AM. Got letter from June. She’s feeling bad about Don going to nursing home. Washed clothes.

Merrill and Bruce put in light bulbs at church. Wrote June and Vern and Bea. Hartford Kavanaugh, 82 died of massive hemorrhage.

We went for groceries in AM. Sue here for church money. Baked cake for Kavanaugh’s and cupcakes for here. We went to funeral home in evening.

We went to church and picnic on parsonage lawn. Emmalee Rebekah Kerr-Carpenter baptized. Everything great. Even had home made ice cream. A hot day in the 90’s. About 100 there. All 5 churches.

Kyle here today. Debby came home early as she was sick. Very hot and humid. We got groceries. Finally rained some in evening. Power off 3 hours in city.

Dr. Siegel 1 PM. Blood pressure 102/80. Good for me. Everything okay. Cloudy. some rain and much cooler. Feels great. Froze 8 packages of green beans.

We went to church. Only 24 there. Rev. Collin starts vacation today. Be back August 27th. Jim called in evening. His last night of fair. Joel, Jill, with Patty this weekend.
