I called Patty. Jolie had head ache last night. She has angiogram on May 6 at 8 AM at Mercy Hospital. Kids out of school at 11:00 AM. PPR at Philadelphia.

We went for groceries in morning. Kids out of school at 11 AM. Cloudy. Bible study canceled. Collin at funeral home. I called Doris.

Gladys and Clarence Lamon’s 55th anniversary. School out at 10:30 today. Spring break all next week. Lancaster’s leave for Mississippi tonight. No kids here. Merrill put on new sink faucets. I called Josephine Carnival.

We went to city. I ordered all new eye glasses at Chellis. Got paint for porch etc. We went for groceries in PM. Started study of Revelations.

Sunny. Cold wind. We cleaned dining room and bathroom. Washed curtains and colored clothes. Put plants on front porch. Lots this year because of cold weather.

Washed clothes. Merrill and Bill Burns took junk from church to dump. 2 planks and staging stolen from church yard. Jim and Joel called in evening.

We went to Sunday School 35, and church 55. Thunder and lightening storm during night. Cold and cloudy all day, 42°. Watched Arthritis Telethon all PM.

Kids all back today. Good to have them back. TV cable men working on this road.

Cold, cloudy day. Some rain. Merrill went to store and to Leah’s for new church guest book. About $1400 worth of equipment taken outside church. (Later found)

Sent for massage slippers, $12.99. I went to Rebekah’s, 7 there. Raining when I came home.

TV Cable hooked up. He put wire on Cha’s house. Got wrong house. Works great. We went to Bible study in evening. 9 of us. Raining. Collin not feeling good.

May Day. We went to church 59, and Sunday School 40. Charlie Covell preached. Eleanor called in morning. Juanita goes to doctor Monday. We went to Indian River Diner for a fish fry. Jim, Joel, Jill, and Sue there on way home from Portaferry.

Mother and Daughter Banquet, 6 PM. Not as big a crowd but very nice. Mrs. Beers speaker. I went alone. Wanda and Laura L couldn’t go.

I called Patty. We had quite an enlightening visit. 12/83 separated. Merrill went to George’s for new spark plug, $28.52 in car.

I washed several dresses, slacks, sweaters, and blouses. Merrill fixed cement step. We got down lawn furniture. Our assessment was raised. It is now 33,200.

Merrill mowed lawns for first time this year. We went for groceries. Had windows open for first. Great day. We went to Bible study in evening. Joyce had it.

Jolie’s angiogram at Mercy, 8 AM. Dr. Speary. All went well. She was there from 6:30 – 5 PM. Jim called. Washed blankets. Merrill painted patio iron railing.

Merrill helped build fence at Horton’s for first this year. I washed clothes. Cold wind.

Mother’s Day. We went to Sunday School 37, and church 70. Cobby had service. Sunday School gave Mothers a plant. Jim, Jolie, Joel, and Sue here for dinner. Cha was over. Vern and June called in evening.

Merrill worked at Horton’s. My arthritis bad. Tired all day.

Jim and Pat’s 19th anniversary. Mike White’s birthday. Patty here in PM for an hour and a half. A bad day for her. Merrill worked at Horton’s. We went to store.

Rebekah’s. I’m on refreshment committee. Dump cake and monkey bread. Merrill worked at Horton’s. It rained some off and on during day.

Friday the 13th. Windy some rain. Merrill worked at Horton’s.

Washed clothes. Used new line for first. Merrill mowed lawns with push mower. Chain broke on riding mower. He got hair cut at Philadelphia Barber. Froze asparagus.

Patty’s 41st birthday. Jill visiting her this weekend. Jim called in evening. He is working this weekend. We went to Sunday School 35, and church 48. We went out to Don’s in PM. Had supper with them. Rev. Kathy preached.

Merrill worked at Horton’s. Power off in village all day. Kids went to Evans Mills school. Debby here in PM. She has a new car.

Dr. Siegel, 9 AM. Blood pressure 140/90. He gave me Seldane for my hearing noises. Merrill got chain for mower. We got cabbage, tomato, and geranium plants. $2.29 this year. Leslie called in evening. All are well. He had just called Grace M in Florida.

Don Gehm’s 76th birthday. We went to church 43, and Sunday School 33. A great day. 75°. Merrill finished mowing our lawns. I weeded flowers.
