We went for groceries in AM. Stopped at see Aunt Maude. She threw up this morning. Was in bed. UMW at church. I didn’t go. My arthritis hurting.

I baked all day, oatmeal cookies, pumpkin pies, and cinnamon rolls. Got HEAP blank. Sent it back at post office.

Church Bazaar. Merrill took stuff over to church in morning. Washed clothes.

We went to Sunday School 45, and church 41. Charge Conference in evening, 7:30. Much colder. Only 14 there and 1 guest. Rev. Kathy present. Weather bad off and on in evening. Lots of accidents south of us.

Cold but sunny. Sent check for bells. Got down Christmas decorations and put up some. Talked with Wanda Lancaster.

Much warmer. Put up more Christmas lights and decorations. Aunt Maude went to hospital again. Having hallucinations again.

Bible Study. Margaret, Merrill, and I only ones there. Last Bible Study until January. They brought more housing materials to Carpenter Meadows. 2 are built and 4 more there with materials.

We went Christmas shopping. Not many people around in stores. Got anniversary cards from Frances Soluri and Gehm’s. Tired tonight.

Snowing hard. Sent Roy birth certificate and letter. Stephanie here. Got locked out. Debbie stopped in on way home. Merrill blew out driveway. We went for groceries in PM. About a foot of snow fell. everything so beautiful.

Roy’s 86th birthday Called Jim in evening. Kids are going to Patty’s Christmas day.

Our 53rd anniversary. We went to Sunday School 39, and church 53. Very cold. -10° this morning. Sunny. Lazy day. Too cold to go anywhere.

-24° this morning. Water froze up. School canceled. Got anniversary card and note from Vern’s. Dan has to move again. Sent first Christmas cards. Alice F called about Gerald Poncnou (?) shoveling church walks $3.00 an hour.

Merrill and Bill M put up platform at church. I made Christmas cookies. My back hurts terrible today.

Rebekah’s, 8 out to eat at Tapper Wingo. Very nice. Had meeting and gifts. I got gloves from Vi. I gave Ginny blue carnival dish. Open House at Antwerp parsonage 3-7. We went. Merrill got hair cut for first on Hall’s Corners place.

Vi’s 74th birthday. We went for groceries in AM. Napa store moving to mall. Men working on walls on two new houses. Merrill sick with terrible cold. He went to bed at 7:30.

Merrill’s cold bad. I made brownies for shut in boxes. Decorated cookies.

Frieda here with shut in boxes stuff. Margaret stopped for stuff. Cheryl brought us basket of fruit. Aunt Maude a little better. They packed shut in boxes. I called Panchou about church walks. Leslie called.

Sunday School Christmas program, 7:30. Very nice. Not as many out. Footprints of Jesus. Joyce wrote it.

Merrill’s cold breaking up. Sent rest of Christmas cards.

I went over to Vivian’s in morning. Took scarf for her to mend. Merrill and Bob took down platform at church. Linda Mattingly, 41 killed in car accident by Lila and Jim’s.

Vivian was over. Brought us cheese ball and candy. They are putting up 5th house here at Carpenter Meadows. Plane crash with 258 killed in Scotland. Syracuse and Oswego students on it.

We went for groceries in PM. I have horrible head cold. Merrill’s is breaking up. Debby stopped in on way home. Gave Merrill his picture she took. Jim called in evening.

Terrible day. Freezing rain. Lots of accidents. Linda Mattingly’s memorial service. Washed clothes. Vern called.

Raining. We went to Sackets for supper with Jim and kids. He had a lovely ham supper. All very Christmasy. We didn’t go to church at Mills. My cold terrible.

I was sick all day. Didn’t even get dressed. Merrill went to church, 38 out. Collin and Kathy left for California in PM. Patty called. I called vern’s and Jim. Jim called in evening from work.

I feel better but very sore. Got dressed. Made cinnamon rolls for Lowry funeral. Cooked part of ham.

Snowy. Merrill took rolls to Margaret’s. Stopped at new Napa store for first.

Joe Lowry’s funeral. Very stormy. Icy with snow and cold. Did church books. Ready to audit.

Took down Christmas decorations. We went for groceries in PM. First I’ve been outside since Christmas Eve. I still cough a lot. Washed dark clothes.

Snowing lightly off and on. Got Christmas card from grace Mathieu. (?) Olga (Patty) Frye retired from WWNY. Bookkeeper for 29 years.

Vern called in morning. Washed clothes. Merrill used snow blower on driveway. Not much snow. Made cherry pie for Monday. Merrill cleaned floors. Jim called in evening. We went to bed before the New Year arrived.
