Merrill worked at Horton’s. I washed clothes. Merrill mowed on lawns in evening until riding lawn mower broke.

Rained early morning. Cloudy. Merrill worked at Horton’s. He finished lawn in evening.

Clinic: Merrill had hearing test. Merrill 112/68, blood was 14. Mine 150/82, and blood was 11. We went out to Don’s afterward. Also stopped at Jim’s on way home. Rained hard in PM. Got graduation invitation from Jeff Paro.

UMW at parsonage, 9 out. Jim and Walt were here for supper. They changed busses. Merrill took lawn mower transmission to Mills. We went for groceries in AM.

Retirement party for Rev. Salisbury at Mannsville, 7:30. We didn’t go. Merrill worked at Horton’s building fence.

Much colder. Sunny. Washed clothes. We cleaned kitchen breakfast room and bathroom. Looks so clean. Upstairs yet to go.

We went to Sunday School 28, and church 36. Cha kids didn’t go with us. Cha is in California for nephew’s wedding. Thunder storms in evening. Work is finished on play ground at city park. A nice project.

Dr. Siegel 1:15. My blood pressure 140/90. He changed my blood pressure medication to Vasotec. We took mower transmission to Lynn’s at Limerick. Raining and thunder.

Rained and cooler. I’m sore today from riding and coughing. Started taking Vasotec.

Merrill mowed lawns with push mower. Larry Ashley called about farm. Rebekah’s went out to eat at Hilltop Restaurant. Had meeting, then went to ice cream parlor for ice cream. 8 of us.

We went for groceries in AM. Merrill worked in garden. Cha got home in evening from California.

Rained all night. More thunder storms in late evening.

Cloudy. Merrill went to dump. Washed clothes. Had first radishes from garden.

We went to Sunday School 34, and church 74. Children’s Day awards. Very nice. Charlie Covell preached. Rev. Collin at conference. Aunt Maude went with us for first time since last November.

We picked 27 # berries at Bedors. Got car inspected at George’s on way home. $8.00. Sent AARP insurance for first. Sent Jeff Paro graduation gift, $5.00. Got letter from June and Vern. He is still having eye trouble.

Beautiful day. My legs are lame today. Patty called in evening. All are well.

Mom would be 95 today. Pirate’s first game at city. We walked down to overhead to see 801 Housing. Jim called from work. Washed Merrill’s work clothes.

A beautiful day. I baked 2 kinds of cookies. Washed some clothes. Merrill washed woodwork upstairs. Belile’s got new riding lawn mower.

Another nice day. We went for groceries in AM. Merrill washed widows upstairs. Graduation at Indian River Central School.

Sunny and warm in PM. Cooler and cloudy. Washed clothes. Merrill cleaned floors. I baked layer cake and biscuits. Linda Belile in Wisconsin for 2 weeks Army training.

Father’s Day. 2 grads at church, Gloria and Lance. Gloria’s Graduation party. No Sunday School until fall. We went to church 43. We went to Gloria’s party. Very nice. Jim, Patty, Jolie, Joel and Paul Town here for supper. Jim has a blue Chevy ‘79 truck. He built boat rack on it here.

Rebekah’s Exchange of Collars from Antwerp Lodge. Good turn out. Merrill mowed back yard. Wrote June and Vern.

Dr. Siegel, 11:45. Saw Mr. Becoff. He put me on Catafres (?) blood pressure pills. Very hot, 90’s. Left Merrill’s tan suit at cleaners. They have started cleaning up junk on corner.

June’s 49th birthday. Merrill mowed rest of lawn with push mower. Very hot in PM.

Rain with thunder storms in evening, and during night. Merrill took his bill to Horton’s. I washed. We went for groceries. Saw Sharon Sinclair.

We went to church 36. Aunt Maude went for third Sunday in a row. Lazy day. Windy all day.

They are working at shopping center site. Also 801 Housing and water tank. Can see it all from here. Cheryl H here with check for Merrill. Rained in evening. Thunder. Corine Simonds called.

Merrill went over town. New people have moved furniture into CEC. I called Doris H in evening about PPR meeting.

Raining and cloudy. Cleared in PM. We went to city in AM. Couldn’t find part for mower. Merrill got tire for wheel barrow, $15.21. He mowed on lawns in PM.

We didn’t do anything to celebrate the 4th. A cold, cloudy day.

We went to 9:00 church 36 out. We went to mall shopping. I got blue dress. Ate at mall. Went to Jim’s after. Joey, Darcy, and John over in evening with sparklers. A great day.

Merrill mowed further lawn. I washed clothes. Hot and windy.

Cloudy day. Frieda and Harry here in evening for church money. Art and Doris here to spend evening.

Very hot. Merrill got oil changed in car at Sunoco Station.

Very hot. Sent Jolie card and money. We watched TV North Co. hearings most of day. Merrill put door knobs in at Horton’s in PM. Talked with Lyla on phone.

Jolie’s 16th birthday. Linda Shorkey went to hospital by ambulance. We went for groceries. Hot. Quaker Days started with Sheb Wholly show.

Sent for dress to Lane Bryant. Washed clothes. Baked turkey. Made salad and rolls. Still very hot. Called Vern’s. Got letter from them.

We went to church 45. Quaker Days parade. Sackets band in it. We went to it. Jim’s and Nicki Peer here for supper. (Picnic)

Terrible hot and humid, 92°. Washed clothes. Finally got new white car plates. Dennis and Patty Haggerty have baby girl born today.

Rained hard in PM. Thunder. flattened our sweet corn. Cha and Chomsun here in evening. Cooler. Nice to sleep at last.

Merrill hoed dirt around each hill of corn. Much colder. 50° during night.

Dr. Siegel 10:15 AM. Said I could stop Plaquenil. To continue Clonidine. We went to see Audrey. Lila and Patty there. Merrill got hair cut at Allen’s.

Beautiful day. We went for groceries. Vern and June here for supper and to stay overnight. Dan had eye appointment but he went back home. We drove around town and spent evening with Hall’s.

Beautiful day but windy. Vern and June left about 10:30. Nice visit with them. Lots going on at Sackets this weekend. 175 anniversary of War of 1812.

We didn’t go to church. 36 there. Haggerty Reunion at Wescott Beach, 38 there. Nice time and great weather. We went to Jim’s and stopped at fair on way home to see fireman’s parade.
