Palm Sunday. Sunday School 40, and church 84. Sunday School had a part in the service. All very nice. Cha family all there. We went for a walk. Robby Congdon, Cheryl and baby 6 months and Christie here in evening.

Maundy Thursday service at Evans Mills. We went to service. Nice. We went to lawyer Quinzer (?) with CEC proposal. Got Plaquenil at Nichols Drugs for first time. Only $34.66. $5.19 less than Fays. We went to see Audrey at Samaritan Keep. Got groceries.

Easter. We went to 7 AM Cantata and breakfast, 65 there. Church was at 11:15, 102 there. Vern, June, Dan, Don, and Bea here for dinner and PM. Darcy brought me trilliums in evening. A lovely Easter day.

Raining and snow flurries. Cold. Sent application for telephone Life Line discount. $2.00 off with rebate. Joyce called and asked me to teach Sunday School class on Sunday. Merrill worked.

June R here in morning on way to Gloria’s to list farm. I washed bedroom curtains. Merrill worked at Horton’s. Rev. Collin here with District Superintendent’s letter. Real Estate lady picked it up along with other papers and sent them to Lawyer Burns.

Sunny. Warmer. We went for groceries in AM. Merrill worked at Horton’s. A car went off road into field by Shorkey’s. Driver 17 years old. Leland Cook, Antwerp, and Fred Johnson, Evans Mills cited for DWI.

We went to Sunday School 36, and church 56. John Johnston and Sarah Jean joined the church. Rev’s Collin and Kathy leave for 3 weeks vacation in California. Back on May 23.

Merrill didn’t work at Horton’s today. We went to city. I got my hair cut at Hair Crafters, $6.50 plus tip. Merrill got work shoes $26.74. Merrill mowed lawn when we got home. They are putting up water stand pipe at 801.

We went for groceries in morning. Merrill worked at Horton’s. They finished fence at mills. Wrote Vern’s. Got musical Mother’s Day card from Jim. First musical card.

Sent for new car plates. Merrill helped plow for first at Horton’s. Cha over in evening. Brought me box of candy. Got card, and note, and mother-in-law reading from June and Vern.

Jim and Pat’s anniversary 18. Mother’s Day. Communion breakfast at Gouverneur at 7 AM. I didn’t go. We went to Sunday School 42, and church 57. Cobby preached. Stephen gave me plant he made in Sunday School. Jim, Pat and kids here for PM and supper. Brought me red carnations in vase. Jolie washed car.

Dr. Scanlon, 1:30. He checked for new glasses. No change. UMW District Meeting at Natural Bridge, 4:30. Administrative Council 7:30. I have devotions. 9 there. Sunday School Sundae Party. We went. 2 Cha kids went with us.

We went to city about car registration in morning. I took Merrill to Horton’s and I drove to Rebekah’s in PM. 5 of us there. We voted at school in evening. Budget passed. Sent Patty card.

Patty’s 40th birthday. Corine here with papers to sign. We went for groceries in morning. Merrill worked at Horton’s. Rained in morning. Sun out in PM. Merrill mowed side lawn in evening.

Armed Forces Day at city this year. Merrill worked at Horton’s. He mowed last of lawns in morning and evening. I washed clothes. I went to Leah’s for pop corn in evening. Cloudy and cold.

Still cloudy and cool. Merrill went to George’s at Mills in morning to get light switch fixed. He worked at Horton’s all day. They finished plowing. I worked on Mother and Daughter banquet program. A 19 year old soldier choked his 2 year old son to death at Philly Courts.

Mother and Daughter Banquet, 6 PM. It was just great this year. “A Sentimental Journey”. Chomsun and Stephanie went with me. Eleanor and Roy here in PM. Sammy C got sick in school They brought him here as Chomsun wasn’t home. Merrill worked at Horton’s.

Merrill worked at Horton’s. Washed clothes. Sent firemen $50 donation for card. We took plants to cemetery in evening. We went over to Aunt Maude’s. She is having trouble with a rash. Merrill set out tomato plants.
