UMW covered dish supper at church. Snowing. I didn’t go. My lip swollen this morning. I’m taking 2 blood pressure pills. Merrill worked at Horton’s.

Merrill worked at Horton’s. I baked cookies and rolls. No school in PM. Cha kids here also. I’m still coughing. We went for groceries in evening.

UMW Bazaar. I gave sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate chip cookies. Washed clothes. Merrill home today. He went to Fargo’s for Christmas tree. $12.00.

We went to Sunday School 49, and church 63. Cha kids didn’t go. Merrill and Bill Burns put up church manger in PM. Jim’s here for supper. Jolie didn’t come. Patty has another car. Dodge.

Cold 10° in morning. Nice day. Merrill worked at Horton’s. Bob Boscheck here for church money.

Warmer. Raining some. Merrill worked at Horton’s. I washed Merrill’s work clothes. Sears called to say chairs are out of stock until January 30.

Warm. Snow all melted. Merrill dizzy this morning. Stayed home today. Evelyn called and invited us to party Friday night.

Roy’s birthday. I made Christmas fudge. We went for groceries in morning. Merrill feeling better but stayed home from Horton’s. Eric had mishap in cleaning hot ashes. Merrill went down to check. Shop vac caught fire.

Our 52nd anniversary. Merrill home today. We went to Howard and Evelyn’s house party. A just great time. Ivan Hale and Hank Schell celebrated their birthday’s. Mile White there. Met the Yerdon’s (Kim’s folks) Got letter from Beulah.

Merrill went over to church. Robbins cleaned furnaces. Got card and letter from Brenda. Good to hear from them. Set up Christmas tree in PM.

Tree fell over in night. We went to Sunday School 51, and church 61. We went to city shopping. Lots of people out. Snow on ground when we got up, but melted.

Nice today. Sent first Christmas cards. Merrill worked at Horton’s until 1:00 PM. He’s to help when Elaine is in the hospital.

Worked at Christmas cards. Rained and snowed in late PM. Merrill went to store. Mary called in evening to see if Debby was here. Late getting home. Very slippery roads. Lots of accidents.

Snowed over night and this morning. Merrill plowed out driveway. A beautiful white day. Sun out part of time. Sent more cards.

Open House at Antwerp. We didn’t go. I made Christmas cookies. Sent last of Christmas cards.

Cold 20°. Merrill helped with chores at Horton’s. Carl is sick. Washed. Paul Kiechle shop at Roy’s burned.

Packed shut in baskets. Hard candies and oranges. We helped deliver some. Went to Art Hall’s and Gladys Simonds. Cheryl here to pay Merrill $476.00 in evening.

We went to Sunday School 44, and church 73. Rainy and windy. We went to Sunday School program. Really great. Church full.

Lancaster’s gave us basket of cookies. Merrill helped with chores at Horton’s. Randy took Elaine to the doctors.

We went to city for pills. Shopped. Went to Sackets. Took them gifts. Got $50 money order from June R and new pay plan. Darcy here in evening. Also Wanda, Jack, and Laura Lancaster. Belile’s broke water main digging out stumps.

Lancaster’s left for Virginia. Merrill and Bob took down stage stuff and put in light bulbs at church. Vivian T was over. Brought us a cheese ball.

Warm and cloudy. Still a little snow on ground. Cha brought us fruit basket in morning. Also $40 for child care. Washed. We went to Candlelight service at church, 70 there. 9:00 PM service. Raining in evening.

Warm and rainy. In the 50’s. A few spots of snow on ground here in AM. We spent day alone. Vern’s and Jim’s called twice. Are coming Tuesday. Dan student teaches at Liverpool.

We took down tree as it was shedding so. Washed.

Sunday School 34, and church 55. Cloudy and cold. My arthritis bad today. We went to store after church.

Got stuff ready for dinner tomorrow. Washed. Baked pies and rolls.

Vern’s and Jim’s here. Jolie couldn’t come. She had try outs for cheering. Great time together. Vern’s gave us Panasonic phone. Very cold with light snow.

Zero degrees. Tired today. Got things put away and house back in order. Used new phone for first time. Margaret K called.
