Went to Cheryl and Aunt Maude’s after church. Cheryl had a delicious dinner. We went to Sunday School 43, and Church 60. Cold. Down to zero this morning. Irene Atkinson, 71 died today.

Perin Kiechle, 94 died at home this morning. I called folks for food.

Nice today. Warmer. I made cinnamon rolls for Kiechle’s. We went up to Kiechle’s. Ed Bennett’s were there. Uncle Len, Pauline and Garmon had been there earlier.

Perin Kiechle funeral at Ben and Dawn’s. We went. Took food from UM Church. slippery in evening. Snowy. Robbins man cleaned furnace.

UMW at parsonage at 1:30. Week of Prayer and Self Denial program. 10 out. Wrote Vern’s. Sunny today. Merrill got oil change and Lube on car at Sunoco, $17.50.

Corine here about CEC purchase offer. We went for groceries after lunch. We took UMW food for Switzer family funeral. Merrill went over to Marg’s in evening for church report.

Snowing hard. Merrill and Wayne H tried to fix CEC fence but ground is too frozen. They went up to Corine’s. We finished church reports for 1986, Cha cleaned out our driveway with his new snow blower.

We went to Sunday School 40, and church 64. Snowing and cold. We gave Rev. Collin our reports.

Light snow and some slippery roads. Merrill cleaned out driveway. 801 bubbles removed. 1 unit of housing all up.

Dr. Scanlon, 1:30. All okay. Merrill got navy all weather coat at JC Penney’s. $42.00. Administrative Council. I have devotions. 12 out. Sheri Rudes first meeting as chair. Greg Delles starting to put tub in CEC room.

Rebekah’s. I didn’t go as Ginny didn’t come. Tired today from yesterday. Merrill called Gladys. Her 77th birthday. She and Clarence are okay now.

Foggy all day. We went for groceries in AM. Stopped at CEC. No one there working at tub.

Colder but sunny all day. Merrill went over to CEC. It’s about finished (bath and shower) Got letter from Beulah Macklin.

-10° during the night. Sunny but cold all day. Washed white clothes. Made cake.

We went to Sunday School 47, and church 70. The three Cha kids went with us for first time. Snowing most of the afternoon.

Martin Luther King Day. No school. Merrill went over to clean up after plumbers. $750.00 for tub and work.

Merrill went to bank and post office. Took CEC bill to Marg in evening.

No school because of heavy snow in morning. I called Jim at the Y. Patty quit her job. They cut her to 20 hours.

Jim’s 19th anniversary on police force. Merrill paid taxes, $509.78 at Town Barn office.

Mother Tryon died 6 years ago today. We went for groceries. Very stormy in PM. Much colder in evening. I made cinnamon rolls and baked beans.

Cold -5°. Merrill took trash. Also went to Aunt Maude’s for her church envelopes. Very stormy at Adams and Mannsville. Route 81 and 3 closed.

We went to Sunday School 36, and church 56. Stephanie and Stephen went with us. Adams Center school destroyed in gas explosion at 1:30 AM. No one hurt. Vern and June called in evening. All are well there.

Still cold, -8° in morning. Sunny. Washed dark clothes. Merrill called Giles and others about CEC sale.

Appointment with Giles 2:00. He wants new purchase offer drawn up. We went to see Audrey. Her 63rd birthday. Had some of her cake and candy. Patty and Jean B had been there.

Rev. Collin here for 1 1/2 hours about church business. We have to hold a Charge Conference about CEC sale.

A nice day. Warmer. Merrill got hair cut and went to store.

Stephanie Cha’s 13th birthday today. We went to Sunday School 44, and church 74. A nice day. Mrs. Kiechle, 93 is in Bay Hospital. Patty called in PM. Jolie very busy with activities at school and gym workouts.

Ground Hog Day. Cloudy all day. He didn’t see his shadow here. The folks backed out on buying CEC. Merrill called Giles about charge conference.

Rev. Collin’s 28th birthday. 2nd 801 bubble taken down. Corine called to say the Robinson’s asked for their $300 down payment back on CEC. Cloudy all day. Some snow.

Clinic: Merrill 138/78 blood count 15 1/2. Mine 176/100 and blood count 12. Merrill called State Police about Trumbles parking on CEC. Rev. Collin here in AM. 801 put up 3rd bubble.

UMW at 1:15 at parsonage. 8 present. Got groceries afterwards. Jim, Patty, Joel and Jill here in evening. Brought out his yellow bus to park here. A beautiful day but cold.

Warmer today. Merrill called Robbins to check furnace. Fumes are bad. He didn’t come.

Tug Hill Tourathon. Nice day 40°. Jim and kids in it. Joel also. Washed. Made a pie and cinnamon rolls. Cha over in evening.

We went to Sunday School 55, and church 63. Rev Collin and Kathy leave for Holy Land after church. Snowing hard most of day. Jim’s came out with new Trailway’s bus. Here in PM and for supper.

It is just beautiful today. The snow is so white and sticking to everything after the storm yesterday. Sun is out so bright with blue skies. Cold 0°. Merrill cleaned out driveway.

Merrill went to Antwerp. Got chimney cleaner. Snowing lightly off and on all day. Still very pretty out.

I got my hair cut at Jim’s. Cold all day but nice. I didn’t go to Rebekah’s.

Robbins here to check furnace. Washed dress clothes. Cold all day. Got Valentine from Vern’s. All are well there.

Joel’s 11th birthday. Friday the 13th. Merrill cleaned driveways where snow blew in. We went for groceries.

George and Margaret Waters 58th anniversary. We had a surprise party for them. 16 there. Nice time. Called Aunt Maude. She’s feeling okay. Sunny and cold all day. Temperature 31° today.

Baby shower for Sharon. I didn’t go. Our water froze up this morning -26° when we got up. We went to Sunday School 43, and church 35. Cecil Steele of Sprageville preached.

-18° overnight. No mail, but the Times came. No school this week, winter vacation. Merrill went over to church. Didn’t get water thawed at church.

-15° overnight. Got up to 18° during the PM. Bill M and Merrill got water thawed at church. Sunny all day.

Not so cold overnight -10°. Up to 20° during the day. We went to Fays for eye drops and pills. Went to Don’s, Roy’s and Beulah’s in PM. Got home at 6 PM. Kitchen drain frozen.

Jill’s 12th birthday. Not so cold last night. Still sunny. Washed clothes.
