Open House at Antwerp Parsonage, 6-9 PM. We went. Marion Smith and Leola Bush went with us. We went for groceries in AM.

Packed Christmas baskets, 36 and 2 doubles. We helped and then we helped deliver some. Got more Christmas cards. Wrote Ken and Eeanor. Eleanor leaves for Florida until January 6th. We stopped at Aunt Maude’s.

Merrill and Bill put up stage at church in morning. Washed clothes. Merrill cleaned floor. Nice out. Warmer. Made candy.

Sunday School Program, 7:30. Church almost full. Just great. Joyce wrote play. “I Am That I Am”. We went to church, 61 there. The Cha family went to evening program. Darcy went with us. We took basket to Art Hall. Had good visit with Evelyn and Howard.

Merrill put new door set on barn door at Horton’s in AM. Nice day but some wind. Merrill helped Joyce. Darcy and Wayne cleaned church in evening.

Corrine Simonds here with a new purchase offer on CEC. I wrapped kids gifts. Last day of school until new year. Cha brought us gift. 2 boxed sausages.

Candle light service. Philadelphia church full. Jennifer Drake brought us cookies. Merrill went for milk. Washed. Opened Cheryl’s gift. She gave me blue robe and Merrill plaid shirt. Merrill got brown pants. I got sweater.

A green Christmas. Rained all night. We went to Jim and Pat’s for dinner. Nice time together. Jim’s gave us nylon blanket. Rained all day. Brancatella’s called to wish us Merry Christmas.

Lazy day after Christmas. Colder. No snow.

We went for groceries in AM. Vern and June called. Don Gilbert died last week. Cancer. I washed clothes.

We went to Sunday School 32, and church 41. Rev. Kathy Kerr Carpenter preached today. Cloudy all day.

Frieda Kent here in PM. Brought Benevolent receipts. Cleaned stove.

Trustee’s meeting. They decided to put in bathroom. Made rolls. Jennifer, May and Shirley Cooper here all PM.

Got things ready for tomorrow. Didn’t stay up to see the New Year in. Too sleepy. We went for groceries in AM. Leah’s brother died.
