Halloween. 23 kids here. Terry and Pat Hall and girls here. I wrote Vern’s. Made cookies. Very cold overnight in the 20’s.

Church Trustee’s put up fence at CEC between Tremble’s and parking lot. Washed clothes. I called for food for LaClair funeral.

We went to Sunday School, 40 and church, 80. Ground white when we got up but it melted. We went to funeral home for Ray LaClair wake. Marion S and Alice F went with us. Worked at church reports in PM.

Ray LaClair funeral. Merrill went. We took food to Legion Hall afterwards. Brought crib home from church. They put it out in furnace room. It is over 50 years old.

Clinic: Merrill, 134/78 and 15 blood count. Mine was 162/92 and blood count was 12. Merrill shut off water at CEC.

UMW at Sina’s. Tanya Lingenfelter had program on Japan. I went with Marion Smith. 12 members and 3 guests there. We went for groceries. Got invitation to Florence and Earl’s 50th anniversary party on November 23 at Sandy Creek Fire Hall.

Sunny day today. I got a body perm at Jim Gaffney’s. First one in years, $25. Merrill got his hair cut, $5. Nice all day. Warmer. Aunt Maude called. Had a nice long visit.

Ken and Eleanor’s 40th anniversary. We went to church 73 there and Sunday School had 42. Cloudy, 38°. Aaron Cook here selling Christmas Bells, $4.00. New neighbors have moved into Drake apartment.

Karen and Bob Dusek’s concert at Trinity Church, 3:00 PM. We went. Just great. Rained terrible all PM and evening. Thanksgiving even service at Mills, 7:30. We didn’t get to it as car wasn’t working right.
