Colder. Raining and snow in places. Canned 7 quarts of beets. Went for groceries in AM. Patty here in PM for Joel’s drumsticks. Merrill has cold and feels terrible. Agway delivered 74 gallon of fuel oil, @.64 now.

Halloween. 23 kids here. Terry and Pat Hall and girls here. I wrote Vern’s. Made cookies. Very cold overnight in the 20’s.

Church Trustee’s put up fence at CEC between Tremble’s and parking lot. Washed clothes. I called for food for LaClair funeral.

We went to Sunday School, 40 and church, 80. Ground white when we got up but it melted. We went to funeral home for Ray LaClair wake. Marion S and Alice F went with us. Worked at church reports in PM.

Ray LaClair funeral. Merrill went. We took food to Legion Hall afterwards. Brought crib home from church. They put it out in furnace room. It is over 50 years old.

Election Day. We voted in AM. I won all my votes. Don Newberry elected Sheriff. Gov. Cuomo elected. June called in evening.

Clinic: Merrill, 134/78 and 15 blood count. Mine was 162/92 and blood count was 12. Merrill shut off water at CEC.

UMW at Sina’s. Tanya Lingenfelter had program on Japan. I went with Marion Smith. 12 members and 3 guests there. We went for groceries. Got invitation to Florence and Earl’s 50th anniversary party on November 23 at Sandy Creek Fire Hall.

Sunny day today. I got a body perm at Jim Gaffney’s. First one in years, $25. Merrill got his hair cut, $5. Nice all day. Warmer. Aunt Maude called. Had a nice long visit.

Cloudy with some rain. Merrill cleaned floors. I washed clothes. Made 2 pumpkin pies.

We went to Sunday School 39, and church 70. Sunny and windy. Carl Scee called. Dorothy Hogaboom had her other leg off in June.

We went to city. I renewed my driver’s license for 4 years. Had picture taken for it for first time, $17.50. Got drugs at Fays. Went to hospital to see Audrey.

Snowing today. We went to Administrative Council meeting in evening. Good meeting. Harry’s last one as chairman.

Merrill helped Horton’s in PM. Fixed barn cleaner at Mills. Merrill called Leslie in evening. His 72nd birthday. I washed clothes. Ddn’t go to Rebekahs.

Very cold and windy. Ground white. Cold all day. In the 20’s. Merrill helped Horton’s truck heifers to Mills in PM. Rich Brotherton trucked some also.

Snowy about all day. Got letter from June and Vern. They go to Vermont today until Tuesday. We went for groceries. Sent Anniversary card to Ken’s.

Warmer but cloudy. Merrill cleaned floors. Washed clothes. Art Hall moved to Howard’s new garage apartment today. It is his birthday.

Ken and Eleanor’s 40th anniversary. We went to church 73 there and Sunday School had 42. Cloudy, 38°. Aaron Cook here selling Christmas Bells, $4.00. New neighbors have moved into Drake apartment.

Merrill helped unload corn at Horton’s. Had to move machinery. He helped in PM at Mills caring for youngstock.

Merrill helped cover ensilage piles at Horton’s in PM. I am getting a cold again.

My cold worse today. Wrote Vern and June.

We went for groceries. Got free 10 pound turkey. Patty called in evening. She started work this week at Ricky’s Gas Station full time. Very stormy in evening. Slippery.

3 inches of snow overnight. Cold, and roads slippery with lots of accidents. Got birthday card with notes from Gehm’s, Don’s, and Simonds. My 69th birthday.

Debbie’s 27th birthday. Washed. Sunny day and nice.

50th anniversary party for Florence and Earl Yerdon at Sandy Creek, 2-5. We went. Very nice. Went to Ken’s afterwards. Sunny day. Went to church, 53. Laity Sunday. Cobby Slate had service.

Dr. Siegel, 1:00 PM. Gave me cough medicine for my cold. I feel punk. Merrill cleaned church. Got birthday card, letter, and pictures of Bowman’s from Eleanor and Ken.

Charge Conference at Philadelphia with Bob McClune, 6:30. 20 there. 10 from each church. We went. Rev. McClune and Rev. Collin here in PM.

Karen and Bob Dusek’s concert at Trinity Church, 3:00 PM. We went. Just great. Rained terrible all PM and evening. Thanksgiving even service at Mills, 7:30. We didn’t get to it as car wasn’t working right.

Thanksgiving. Went to Jim’s. He came for dinner from 2-4 PM. Delicious dinner. Patty, and Jolie went to see Audrey in PM. Jill and I did dishes. Vern and June called in evening. Had just got home from Rochester.

We went down to Brancatella’s in PM. They are building new house. Cloudy. Yerdon’s 50th anniversary.

45th anniversary for Gerald and Virginia Delles. We went. Nice party. We went for groceries in AM. Washed clothes.

We went to Sunday School, 49 and church 89. Sunday School kids sang during church for Thanksgiving program. Very nice. Much colder and it was cold at church. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hugh’s 50th anniversary.

Cold all day. Only up to 30°. Down to 10° last night. I’m still coughing up a lot after 2 weeks. Hard to get rid of it.

Maplecraft Barn on Arsenal Street burned during night. Freezing rain. Lots of accidents. 2 people killed.

Still raining. Turned to snow in evening. Windy in evening. Power off in several places. Okay here.

Windy and snowing. UMW at church. Covered dish Christmas meeting. 12 there. Rev. Collin attended. Very nice. We took food for Urban Mission.

Trustee’s meeting at 7:30 about CEC purchase offer by Nancy Rosbroook. We went for groceries in AM. Nice day. I made cakes.

Christmas Bazaar at 10 AM. We made over 600 dollars. I sent sandwiches, cupcakes, and a Christmas bell. Bill M and Merrill put up manger at church. Got first Christmas card from Holly and Lori.

We went to Sunday School, 48 and church, 66. Snowing and cold. Lazy day. Lots of sand trucks out. Youth group decorated church.

PPR meeting at Mills. Very cold all day. 8° but sunny.

Sent PPR report. Also card and letter to Roy. Cha was over. Freezing rain and very slippery. Warmer with rain in evening. Times didn’t go.

Rebekah’s out to eat. 8 of us went to Philly Inn Lodge. Very nice. Roy’s 83rd birthday. Nice day but cold. Got anniversary and Christmas cards.

Our 51st anniversary. We went for groceries in AM. Nice day. Sunny. Merrill cleaned church. I went over to Chomsun’s in PM. Got more Christmas cards.

Snowing in morning. We went to city shopping. Couldn’t find car at mall. Jim came to help us. Vern and June called when we got home. They came for over night.

Cold but sunny day. Vern’s left about 9:30. I washed clothes. Decorated Christmas cookies. I called Patty.

We went to church, 58 and Sunday School 37. Patty called. Jolie sick so they couldn’t come out. Worked at Christmas cards.

Worked at Christmas cards. Merrill went over town for stamps, milk, and gas. The tent dome over 801 was lighted all night.

Foggy all day. Sent first Christmas cards. Several with notes. Got Jolie’s, Jill’s, and Joel’s pictures. Very good.

Addressed and sent more cards. Merrill went up to Horton’s to fix door. Carl paid him for work already done $49.00. Prescription bill voted in. Goes into effect next October.
