Dr. Minnert, 1:45. Have to go back on Wednesday the 17th for a biopsy. We went to see Audrey in hospital. Got drugs at Fays. Raining off and on. Windy.

Rainy and windy. Steve here in morning on way to Potsdam for weekend. I made apple pie for freezing. Merrill went over to store.

Cooler and sunny. Merrill helped move piano to church from parsonage. Merrill mowed Kavanaugh’s lawn. I cooked small turkey. Made coolies. Washed clothes.

We went to Sunday School, and church, 56. Jacob Ambrose baptized. Nice day but cool. Salmon Run Mall officially opened today. About 33 stores so far. Will be 80 in all. Steve here for supper on way home from Potsdam. Steve and Kathy are engaged to be married, August 22, 1987.

Vicky Puffer, from California comes. Her birthday. I sent $80 to Leukemia fund from this street. We froze 8 packages of sweet corn. Merrill went over town.

It snowed at Cranberry Lake last night. Cool all day. Some rain.

Dr. Minnert, 3:15. He did biopsy on eye blood vessel (left) in his office. Got tax refund of $179.10. Merrill mowed lawns in forenoon.

My face a little sore. Called Patty. Vicki goes back Sunday. Bobby came last week end. Merrill cleaned out chimney. A nice day.

We went for groceries. Washed Merrill’s work clothes. Sent Vern big card.

Raining again. Dark wet day all day. Merrill went to dump. Took flowers from church. Vern and June called inviting us down there tomorrow. Aunt Maude went shopping at New Mall.

Vern’s 50th birthday. We went to Vern and June’s for birthday supper. Don, Bea, Steve, Kathy and Dan there also. Great to be together. We went to Sunday School but left before church.

We left Vern’s about 9 AM. Stopped at Ken’s but no one home. Spent 3 hours at Don’s. All home there. Stopped to see Roy. Mary Kay here for her keys. Rained all day and evening.

Still raining. Rained about all day. Terrible for farmers.

Rebekah’s. Ginny didn’t come. We visited Salmon Run Mall for first time. Merrill had Trustee’s meeting at 8 PM. We drove down to Sackets awhile.

PPR meeting at Mills, 7:30. We went. Dr. Minnert, 3 PM. Had my stitches out, 4 of them. Merrill stopped at Gus Chapins to inquire about fence for CEC.

Leah and Claude Simonds 50th anniversary. We went for groceries in PM. Wrote Vern’s. Patty called from hospital. Terry and Pat Hall have baby girl. Sarah Elizabeth born tonight. Terry called at 11 PM.

Merrill went to Agway for frozen peas, $17.89. Should have got it yesterday. Merrill put away lawn furniture for winter. He picked a sack of apples off our tree. I washed clothes.

Leah and Claude’s 50th Anniversary Party at Legion. Very nice. Bill and Vi went with us. We went to Sunday School, 46 out, and Church 62 there.

Merrill paid school taxes, $322.06. He went to Trumble’s about CEC. [Trumble’s live next door to the CEC] They were mad. I have a catch in my back. Still raining. Thunder during night.

Bad thunder storm during night. Merrill went to see Mary Amay (?) and police. Frank Lavergehetta here in evening. Bill and Vi stopped by. I called Cheryl. Aunt Maude’s okay after throat dilation today.

We went for groceries. Merrill went to Mills for appointment with Giles about CEC boundary. He helped Horton’s on girl’s play house when he got back. I sent Bea Gehm card and note. Raining very hard most of day and evening.

Power off 4 hours during night for repair. Merrill went to dump in morning. He helped at Randy’s in PM on play house. I washed clothes. Rally day at Griffin’s despite the rain.

We went to Sunday School and church, 90 there. World Wide Communion. Children sang. Very good. Jim’s here for PM and supper. Jill had friend, Stephanie Ayers. Jolie didn’t come. Vern called in evening. Gehm’s got all moved yesterday. Aunt Maude went to church.

Cloudy and windy and cold. Merrill started wood fire. Darcy here after school. Merrill went to meeting on village parking in evening for church.

Frost last night. Merrill mowed lawns. Too wet to garden. Lots of leaves on ground.

Rebekah’s. Had it in afternoon. Paid dues, $8.00. Sunny and windy but warmer. Got $60 check from Dr. Siegel. Medicare repayment. Merrill got copy of Trumble letter from lawyer Giles.

Ham supper at church, $4.50. We went. Very good. Small crowd. Much cooler in evening.

We went for groceries in morning. Merrill put wood down cellar. I made banana bread. Roof has leaked in closet upstairs. A mess. Joey got a three wheeler.

I washed clothes. Merrill put more wood down cellar. He went to Mills for roof tar.

We went to Sunday School, 36 and Church 65. Merrill tarred roof. Nice day to do it. Eleanor came to spend the night.

Eleanor left at 10:30 for Canada and Bowman’s. Rained all day but warm.

Paid electric bill $94.27 and phone bill $22.22, and fuel bill $89.60. Rained all day.

Trustee’s meeting. Merrill went. I made 2 apple pies for freezer. Roof still leaking upstairs.

Cloudy. We went to city for eye drops and Plaquenil. Got Halloween candy. We went to see Audrey at House of the Good Samaritan. Tupperware party at Margaret’s. I didn’t go.

We canned 7 quarts carrots. Washed dark clothes. My arthritis bad tonight.

World Series starts. NY Mets and Boston Red Socks. Boston won 1-0. Made cake, cup cakes, and pudding. Washed clothes. My arthritis bad.

Aund Maude’s 81st birthday. We went to church, 81 there and Sunday School, 38 out. A great day. Sunny.

Another sunny day. Great. Sina and Doris here to pick UMW officers. Only one change. Lindsey Myers as vice president. I have diarrhea again.

Merrill finished putting wood down cellar. He raked up more leaves. Also went to Agway for wire posts for CEC, $75. Jim talked a would be jumper off top of Solar Building.

Rebekah’s Installation. Mary came for me. 31 present. Antwerp installed us. It is in Times about Jim talking down jumper, Bob Gibbs, 20. Duane Petrie hit by car yesterday in city on his bike.

Sent Steve card, letter, and $5.00. Sent Duane Petrie card in hospital. Merrill painted upstairs closet and wall.

We went to Sunday School, 33 and church, 50. Raining again. Jim, Pat, Jill, and Joel here for supper. Back on standard time now. World Series game called off. raining.

Rained off and on all day. Merrill went over to church to check wiring. The ceiling chandelier was out yesterday. NY Mets won series from Boston Red Socks in 7 games.
