Merrill finished shoveling driveway. Snow blower wouldn’t work yesterday. Cold but sunny. Tom Berry died last night. I called several for food.

We went for groceries in AM. Sunny but cold. Still snowing in Syracuse. Orville Hale, 86 died today, Evelyn’s Uncle. World Day of Prayer at Mills Presbyterian Church for all churches. I had a part. 35 there. Mrs. Ball showed slides of Sweden and Norway. Very nice.

Used last of our wood. Sunny but still cold. Merrill called Cliff Hamilton. He will bring wood Monday. Merrill went to June’s to see what was wrong with tractor. I baked apple pie and rolls. Took UMW food to Berry’s.

Sunny. Only zero degrees today. We went to Sunday School. 47 there and Church had 70. Communion. Trustees decided to give “the Manor” one of church pianos.

Sunny day. Wrote Uncle Berl. Cliff Hamilton brought wood, $220.00 a load. June called several time. Water pump lost it’s priming.

Wrote Vern’s. Merrill cut wood. Good to have a wood fire. June R. here. Merrill went down and cut leathers in pump for her. Ash Wednesday service at Mills but we didn’t go.

Snowy, windy, stormy. Sunday School and church canceled because of storm. Wind let up here in evening but still bad Lowville way.

Sunny and nice today. Cold. Only up to 10°. Was -25° over night. They found lost plane at Scriba. Pilot died in crash. Missing since Thursday.

We went to Sunday School and church. Rev. Clark had part in service. Jim’s here for supper. Jolie didn’t come. She spent night with girl friend, Donna Grant.

Men finished parsonage insulation. Cloudy but warm. Merrill cut wood in PM. I broke metal clip off my lower denture. Dropped tube of toothpaste on it while cleaning them. Merrill got birthday card from C Schell’s.

Cloudy and warm 40°. I called Carl. He is blind now. Sounded pretty good. Washed dark clothes. Merrill cut wood about all day. First day of spring.

Warmer, 50°. Cloudy. Merrill went to bank and store. He cleaned church. He got Birthday cards from Don and Vern’s. Also letter. Vern’s State IA Conference starts in Syracuse. He is president of it. I called Lucy Neville.

Merrill spent his 75th birthday cutting wood. He got more cards and calls. Stanley Party UMW at Aunt Maude’s. I didn’t go. June and Dan go to Syracuse IA Conference for rest of week with Vern. Made cookies

Snowed all day. We went for groceries in AM. Merrill got card and letter from Uncle Berl. He sent pictures of himself and his room.

Merrill went to dump and to Antwerp for stove pipe. Snowed all day. Merrill, Marge, Bill Burns and helpers moved church organ to lower floor. Had to remove front seats. Merrill got card and note from Gehm’s.

We went to Sunday School and church, 104 out. Several children baptized. Haggerty girl, 3 Halls, 2 Woods, 1 Demon, and Jolie Carpenter. Organ sounds nice on lower floor. Sunny. Cold wind, 45°. Jim’s here for supper. Left kids here in PM while they went to Mills to get income tax done.
