Beautiful day. I’ve felt horrid all day. Kidney infection. Merrill ran cleaner. I made cheesecake for tomorrow. Got table set, etc.

Trice killed a skunk in our side yard. May be rabid. Easter Sunday. Jim, Patty, and Audrey Puffer came out and went to church with us, 125 out. Vern, June,boys, and Gail Myers here when we got home. A real great day together. Two babies baptized.

Administrative Council meeting in evening, 16 out. Much discussion on church service. Dr. Roberts called. i sent Hemmocult. I’m not to eat breakfast. I’ve felt horrid all day. Raining. Cheryl Horton here.

Felt terrible all day. Spent most of day in bed. Noreen and Aunt Maude called.

Clinic, I didn’t go. Merrill took Aunt Maude. We went to city. I had 4th lab test. Got 4 gallon of white paint at Sears. June Ridsdale here in PM. I feel better today but weak.

Dr. Sommers, 12:15. Tooth filled, $18.00. Washed clothes. Rainy. UMW at CEC. Jim T. and Mrs. Cortelou from Women’s Center speakers. 30 there. Very good UMW gave them $50.00.

Rebekah District meeting at Antwerp, 25 there. Leah new DDP. Went for groceries. Merrill worked on water pipes at parsonage. Got them fixed finally. Got card from Lyla in Florida. They are seeing sights there. Vivian was over. Skunk wasn’t rabid. Merrill planted 2 roses

Paper Drive. Merrill went to dump. He helped on paper drive. I made scalloped potatoes for Swenson Service. A beautiful day. Warm. Space ship Challenger landed safely, 4 aboard.

Today would have been Dad’s 91st birthday. We went to church. Only 52 there. Ken and Eleanor here for super. Also Vern, June and Dan after taking Steve back to college. Eleanor gave us her picture. Also brought apple pie for supper. Raining all day.

Cloudy. I called Dr. Roberts. I’m to go on as I’ve been doing only water to drink. No dairy products and only cooked food. Merrill looked at water heater at parsonage. He called Robbins. Got letter from Melba and Elmer.

Dad Haggerty died 23 years ago today. Merrill went over to parsonage. Robbins may have to replace thermostat on water heater. Merrill went down to June’s for check payment. She didn’t get money to bank in time. Rev. Salisbury here in PM.

Wrote Uncle Berl. Washed. Merrill put summer tires on. I didn’t go to lodge as Ginny didn’t come. A beautiful summer like day.

Windy. We went for groceries. Saw Pat, Terry and Deanne at store. Terry has new job at Schrimerhorn Boats. Starts Monday. Sent light bill. Joey was over selling pens for scouts. Jeff Meeks 18th birthday.

Terrible wind last night. Blew down part of Belile’s elm tree by our garage. Raining all day but warm. Aunt Maude called and invited us to dinner Sunday. Gladys and Clarence Lamon’s 50th wedding anniversary.

Ground covered with 2 inches of wet snow this morning and snowing in AM. Merrill went over to check water in CEC basement. Merrill cleaned floors. I called Jim’s in evening.

Nice day today. Still snow on ground, Gone by PM. We went to church, 57 out. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s for lunch afterwards. Jim and Explorers helped look for body of Red and Black football player.

Merrill helped take Sunday School papers to Carthage, 3 ton. Another load to go next Monday. Cloudy and cold. Patty brought Jill and Joel out to stay until Thursday. She stayed for supper.

Ground white with snow again and still snowing all day. Very slippery. Lots of accidents. Had chicken for supper.

Still very wintry. Aunt Maude and Merrill went for free cheese at Legion. Merrill and kids went for groceries. Got letter from Vern’s. He has cold. We had pizza for lunch.

Got $25.00 check from Blue Cross for Dr. Scanlon. Sunny today in AM but snow in PM. We took Jill and Joel home and brought Jolie back with us. Had bulb put in signal light at George Sepko’s. Jolie went over to Darcy’s in evening.

Sunny and warmer. We went for groceries. I made apple pie. Washed clothes. Merrill hung then outside.

Cloudy. Baked cookies, pies, and bread. Washed clothes. Jolie hung them outside. Jolie and I had pizza. Merrill cleaned church. Jolie and I walked up to diner for ice cream cones.

Daylight saving time starts. Raining. We went to church. Jolie went with us, 62 out. Lights at church bothering. Shut power off. Jim, Patty and Joel came for Jolie. Here for supper.

Snowing again most of day. Merrill went with Horton’s to take paper to Carthage, over 3 ton. Started letter to Vern’s. Agway here with fuel oil. Took 147 gallons at $104 per gallon. Our wood has been gone for a month.

Snow all gone. Cleaned dining room. Merrill and Claude worked at wiring at church after 3:30 PM. Sent Vern’s letter.

Merrill went to city for new electric box for church. Haley’s, cost $147.00. Merrill worked at church all PM. Claude helped. A beautiful day, 60’s.

Linda Belile left for reserves in Virginia. Merrill finished wiring meter at church in morning. We cleaned bedroom. Beautiful day. In 70s. Thunder storm in early evening. Sent money for Times.

We went for groceries in AM. Cloudy. Merrill washed car.
