We ate lunch at McDonalds. Went to Wolcott to see Mother Tryon and Leslie. They are both good. Mother didn’t know us. Vern and June got home about 7 PM. We had June’s chili for supper.

Very windy and raining hard all day. We left Oswego about 9 AM. Stopped at Ken’s. They have 10 year old foster girl Tammy Releught [?] living with them. We got home about 2 PM. Everything OK here. Merrill went to PO for mail. Got milk. I called Juanita from Ken’s. Everyone OK. Snowing in evening.

Cloudy most of day. Sun came out about 4 PM. First time in days. My arms very sore and aching most of day. Washed my hair.

Health clinic, ears. Merrill had his ears checked. OK for his age. My blood count 14.5 is fine. Wrote Vern’s.

UMW at CEC. Week of Prayer and Self Denial. Theresa ladies present. I made cupcakes for it. Also Vi. Art, Doris and Dougie here in PM. Jim’s picture in tonight’s Times again about the 6th or 7th time lately.

Over 7500 places without power. Ours out over an hour. Many schools closed because of weather. Snowed during night. Very slippery and very windy. Lots of power line trouble. Merrill cleaned church. Howard here in evening. Evelyn at beauty parlor.

Donna Hall and Tom Ellis wedding at Philadelphia Methodist Church. Reception at Legion. We went. All very beutiful. A very large wedding. District meeting at Mills, I didn’t go. Got letter from June. Barb Preston had baby girl, 9 lb. 8 or.

147 at church. 3 baptisms. Alice back from Florida. Roger in church with [?] and Lula. Jim’s didn’t come today.

Snowed all day. Got note from Beulah Hall. Worked at income tax. Snow stopped in evening.

Mike White,Hank S. Ivan, Evelyn, Royal, Neil at Jam session at Evelyn’s. Great music. 30 there. A beautiful day. Called Vern’s. Are coming on Sunday. We went to city for porch blind and took income tax stuff to H & R Block. Called Mary K and Gary M at Calcium. They couldn’t do it. Will cost over $6000.

Dr. Scanlon 10:30. Everything OK. Got iron pills from Fays. Talked with Patty. Got groceries at P&C. Got card from Vern’s. I went to Lodge in evening. Practiced degree work. Charlie Watts is back in hospital.

Made donuts and candy for MYF. Went to church in evening. 72 out, communion. Got groceries in PM.

Good Friday. Friday the 13th. B-12 shot, second time giving it to myself. Patty called. Her dad is coming Easter with them. Church at Mills but we didn’t go. Made rolls. Sent income tax, Federal, $3092 and State $2148. Went to city. Paid H&R Block, $96.

Raining. Baked rolls. Merrill cleaned house. Set tables for tomorrow. Washed my hair and showered in evening.

Easter Sunday. We went to Cantata at 7 AM. Went to church. Jim’s and Bob Puffer came to church. Vern’s here when we got home. Vern’s stayed all night. Cloudy and rainy.

Boot’s 7th birthday. Vern’s left about 9 AM. Raining. Had Rebekah practice in evening. It is too much for Lula at her age. Washed clothes.

Wrote Uncle Berl. Merrill cleaned church. Howard here awhile in PM. Borrowed battery charger. Merrill put on summer tires.

Merrill worked at Halls. 6 hours. Nice day. 60°. Washed Merrill’s clothes.

We went to Don’s and Marg’s. Marg not to good. Had supper with Jim’s. Jolie and Jill came home with us for rest of week.

Barb Delles had gall bladder operation. Merrill helped at Hall’s. I cleaned front lawn and flowers. Darcy and Joey and [Jim’s] girls together all day.

Beautiful summer day. I washed clothes. Raked on back lawn. Merrill worked at Halls.

Rainy. We went to church. Jill and Jolie went with us. Jim, Patty and Joel came in PM for girls. Here for supper. Movie at church in evening. We didn’t go.

Nice day. I washed and raked on lawns. Merrill worked at Halls. I went to PNG’s in evening at Esther’s. Wrote Angie. Sent Barb Delles card in hospital. Gall bladder surgery.

Murphy here with fuel oil @ 61.9 a gallon now. Wrote Beulah Hall. Merrill worked at Halls.

Initiation at Rebekah’s, 57 there. Anne Eggleston, Detra Delles and Jill Farrel joined. Also 3 from Depauville and Theresa. Gave Lula flowers and birthday cake. Lula Rappole’s 89th birthday. She has been a Rebekah for 60 years. Merrill worked at Halls.

4-H Dress Review. First time at Community College. I went with Norma, Ruth and Sharon. Also 8 kids. Merrill worked at Halls. Windy and rainy some. Susan Risdale’s 10th birthday.

Merrill got hair cut at Theresa, $2.50. We went for groceries. Merrill got oil change at Carpenters. Also had a nail taken out of a tire. Rainy and windy

Merrill worked at Halls. Washed clothes. Cooked potatoes and eggs for salad tomorrow. Cooler today but nice. Merrill got home about 3:30 PM. Gary Belile got home from prison guard duty due to police strike. He has been gone 10 days. Howard paid Merrill $100.

Fast time at 2 AM. Went to Jim’s to plan addition. Vern’s came also. Had lasagna and potato salad and chips. We all went to church first. Rev Potter here for pulpit exchange. I made sandwiches for coffee hour. Rev. Cameron went to Dexter Church.

Merrill burned rubbish pile that was left here. He fixed Carrie Thompson’s roof. Also our porch roof. I haven’t felt good all day. My head hurts.
