Got card saying Pauline and Carl Cornish have baby girl named Tami Lynn. Got sympathy card from Debbie and Rick Golden. Baked cookies and pie. Raining all day. Merrill cleaned church and put in light bulbs. Bill and Brenda Draper moved to Bishop’s Farm.

We went to church. Communion. Jim, Patty, and kids here for dinner. They have colds. Marie, Lorraine and I decorated 4-H window at Donna’s. She went with us.

Rainy. A bear cub was around here this forenoon. Climbed light pole and 2 trees in front year. So cute. Black, 45-50 pounds. Washed clothes. Merrill took 4-H poster to Philadelphia.

Sun is out today for first in days. Sure looks good. Sent Marg card and letter. Merrill cut wood in AM. He has flue. Slept all PM. Couldn’t eat anything.

Nice day. Sun shining. Merrill cut wood. I went to Rebekah Installation at Carthage with Esther, Lois drove me home as it was raining hard for me to see.

Got Blue on 4-H window. We went to Lorraine. I stopped at A.Cozzi to have stone lettered and numbered. Put Mom’s check, refund, in Adams bank. Debby and I went through stuff in desk. Juanita working at church. Talked with Eleanor, Mary, Beulah, and Patty. Called 4-H kids in evening. Got groceries.

Jim, Pat, Jill and Joel here for lunch. 4-H Achievement Night at General Brown. Only Lisa, Kim, Jody and Joanne went. Sent Mom’s doctor bill, ambulance fee, $20. and her Social Security check back. We went to Art and Doris party from 11-1. Evelyn and Jr. Hales band played.

Church conference at Evans Mills. We went for 6:30 supper and meeting. About 35 out. Mrs. Beardsley in hospital. Betty Haggerty went into hospital. Gave Aunt Maude Mom’s dish for Lyla.

Jim starts new job as police instructor. Works 9-5. Saturday and Sunday off. We went to Don’s. Juanita, Debby and I went down to Brenda’s new farm. Has been years since I have been to Bishop’s farm. Cindy and Ethan getting married in November

Another great day. Boots and I went for groceries. Merrill cut brush on pasture line fence. I canned 7 quarts of carrots. Finally got my bill from hospital for my broken toe, $24.70. Lyle Hamilton here to look at heifers. Merrill dug dahlias.
