Terry’s 20th birthday. Rev. Allison Wood preaches. We went to church. Rev. Wood announced that Rev. Albert Cameron would be coming to Philadelphia the middle of January. We didn’t’ go to evening service. Too tired for some reason.

Sleeting most of day. Several schools closed South of us. There is a back draft in stove so it smokes. Jim, Pat and Jolie here for supper. Jim brought out trophy he won for placing first on firing range.

Bible study canceled, Marg G. ill. Merrill went to Theresa. UMW covered dish supper, 6:30. Election of officers. Only 8 out but a nice time. Nominating committee not present so election in January. Furnace off at CEC.

Marie here to sew on 4-H outfit. We went to city shopping. Got corn meal to fat cow to beef. Roger H. brought grapefruit and oranges, $6.

4-H here. Pat here. Merrill cut wood. 10 here to 4-H. Had 1st food lesson, Foods, Let’s Begin. Marie and Lorraine helped teach it.

I went to Philadelphia for groceries. Marie came home with me to sew. She finished machine sewing her dress. They took Dawn McEtherin to Upstate Medical. Got first Christmas card from Mrs. Beardsley.

Raining all day. We went to church. Donald Neuroth and Diane N had service, 54 there. We went out to Big M store afterwards. We went to church in evening. Ruth went with us. Got $44 in collection for McEtherin. Have about $200 for them.

Jolie here to stay while Jim and Pat went to Boy Scout Camp with Kenny and Brenda. Came after her in evening. We went to Mills and Brenda’s. She was at doctor’s. Billy is so cute. Sent Roy card and letter. Snowing some.

Dawn McEtherin died today. Rebekah and PNG’s Christmas Party at Lodge, 6:30, covered dish supper. I just went to meeting. Diane had my name. I’ve had headache all day. Washed clothes. Got package ready to send. Got $10 from Dot. Minnie P. my Secret Pal.

Wrote Lamons and Petrie’s in Christmas Cards. Merrill cut wood,. I washed clothes. Got living room ready for tree. I wrapped all the presents in evening except 4-H ones. They made over $1100 for Mike Payne. Washed my hair.

Vi’s birthday. Ray Bellinger, Lay speaker preached. 91 out to church. We got tree at Davis gas station, $2.. Set it up in PM. We went to church in evening with Ruth. Jim and Carol McEtherin there. It was a beautiful experience. What grand people.

Jim, Patty, and Jolie and Daisy here in PM and for supper. Brought up lovely silver tray and server for our anniversary. Jim typed finance report for me. They decorated tree with help of 2 dogs & one cat. More fun. Jim brought me his typewriter. Vern’s called. He gets his job for 3 more years. Mrs. Cameron called.

Snowing. I met the Rev Cameron’s at the parsonage at 10 AM. Stopped at the store. Merrill drawed wood. Milk inspector here. Have to empty tank. I made Christmas cookies in evening.

Made more cookies for shut-ins and decorated what I made yesterday. Nice day with some snow. Sent card and letter to Doreen and MIke. Wrote letter to Vern’s in evening.

Packed shut-in boxes, 2:30. Packed 32. Vi had charge of it for me. Esther, Lois, Marg K, Mary M, Lula, Vi and I. Everyone helped deliver. Milk inspector here. Everything OK today. Nelson Rockefeller sworn in as 41st Vice President.

4-H party at Laura Paynes. A very nice party. All there but Jamie. Sent more cards with letters. Merrill and Boots went to Antwerp for dog license. Took clipper blades to Delles’ to be sharpened. I went to Philadelphia to deliver shut-in baskets.

Merrill went to Mills and Philadelphia. Got Agway check, $78.58 refund. Aunt Maude and Cheryl here in evening. Brought gifts. I made rolls and donuts and dipped chocolates. Merrill took UMW box to Michael Payne.

Rev. Stanley Skinner, Pulaski, preached today. 82 there. We went to city in PM. Finished Christmas shopping. We went to Sunday School program with Eggleston’s in evening. Very good and church full. Merrill got clipper blades at Delles, $1 for sharpening.

B-12 shot. I went to Marilyn’s and to store. Merrill went to Theresa for sand paper. Clippers don’t work. I baked pies. Washed clothes. Sent money to hospital for x-rays taken last February. Got bill in November.

We went to church. Rev. Skinner’s 2nd Sunday. 82 out. Cloudy but warm. Lisa was over to make out 4-H report. I sent years plan schedule in with it. We went to evening service. Jim McEtherin has flu so couldn’t come. Ruth, Ronnie and Carol went with us.

New Year’s Eve party at Vi’s. Water’s, Lowery’s, Simond’s, Eager’s and us there. Very nice time. Got home at 1:30. We went after paneling at White’s for parsonage, $141 in all. Snowed in evening.
